  1. 110 yards passing by Wilson. Wow, I just wish Allen could put up numbers like that.
  2. I feel bad for her Smith failed a test last November. He said he has no idea why or what caused his estrogen level to rise beyond the allowed limits. Can you imagine the fun this board would have with this news if it were Brady! Thread would go beyond 100 pages. Have to say, not sure I see where the competitive advantage is to the player on this one.
  3. If this happens as you state both record and stat wise, Allen wins in a landslide. MVP race is somewhat preordained at beginning of season. Someone would have to totally out play Allen or Mahomes, or Jackson to have a chance. Voters too would tend to be less impressed with a QB's running TD's than passing as passing is the QB's #1 job. Yes record matters, but would need to be much different than 1 game apart. Maybe is Bills finish 11-6, then Hurts has a shot.
  4. Think it' an extra TE, Sweeney, Knox, and Morris. Was reading an article yesterday, don't recall where and was talking about how much of a key Sweeney played last week in blocking and this week was wondering if he'll be active this week instead of Morris, but that would leave them thing as a receiving TE or would they make all three active, which they did. But if they did make all three active, what position group would they drop someone else. Was some speculation that Phillips may have been held out due to not being 100% to make room for Sweeney. But went another way instead. Guess we now know the answer.
  5. This has always been one of my pet peeves. They bring the chains out and measure within one chain link of the chain as to whether a 1st down or not. But when they first set the down markers to start with, who's to say they were exactly lined up within one chain link. Likely in many cases they may be going 9.4 yards for a 1st down, another time it's 10.3 yards! But as others have stated, I doubt you'd get a GPS system accurate within one inch. Better thing may be some type of laser system on both sides of the field and a target of some sorts on the surface of the ball.
  6. 21 day window ends Nov 1st so could be week after bye instead, believe that's the Jet game.
  7. IMO it;s not that insane at all. Look at most mid season trades, basically return about 30 cents on the dollar. Add to that in general teams don't like parting with high draft picks in any trades. Don't think it's that out of line. Maybe Carolina gets a little better return than this, but I'll bet in the end these offers aren't that far off. If I were Carolina I'd more ask for Cook than Singletary as more years left on cheap rookie contract too.
  8. Assuming both teams finish in 1st place, else it can vary. Understand the whole formula thing and agree no conspiracy going on however per your comment above Last year AFC East played the AFC South and KC did host. So you sure about what you wrote??
  9. I'd like to see them move Bates back too. Either try Quessenberry or if I were to make any trades , I'd put guard before many other positions
  10. What is the Steves Cablecutters you speak of? Can't exactly find an actual website, just links to blogs etc.
  11. Never really heard is Crowder on season ending IR or is he eligible to come back in 4 weeks? With the rules today, maybe no such thing as season ending IR?? Overall think McKenzie will likely start when healthy until Shakir shows much more. Even then look at how the Bills handled Brown and Sanders last two years. As long as they were healthy, they started, but the backups tended to play as much if not more.
  12. Recall how when the Bills signed Von Miller, not a word was mentioned in the press before it happened. There were articles about how that's the way Beane operates. Makes me very suspicious about this whole thing having any truth to it.
  13. Do agree with one thing you said, you are crazy! Eliminate the 1st round pick part and then OK with it. Maybe instead of Moss I'd offer Cook as on cheap contract for longer period of time and more a CMC clone so don't need two if them
  14. Agree, Damm anyone who says anything remotely negative about Buffalo. I do know what he's referring to. It was in regards to the wind, they joked along the lines forget December weather, Sept/Oct is just as bad
  15. Or maybe they draft Edmunds 2.0 and drop the rookie in there, again one with large wing span to cover a lot of ground.
  16. Go for the All Pa secondary, Hamlin, Jackson, Benford!
  17. LOL Yes Carr. Didn't Cardinals also trade/sign a good WR too??
  18. There was a thread the other day about trading a #1 pick for either Barkley or McCaffney which most folks, myself included disagreed with. I'd be more inclined to trade a draft pick for a good top level guard. I also wonder if it's worth moving Bates to the left side where he was at the end of last season and seemed to play much better. Bu then what to do at RG, that's where the trade comes in. I think if Edmunds is gone next season more likely the starting LB's will be Milano and Bernard. When you have a QB like Allen, he can make any WR look much better than he really is so can get away with much lower level of play there. Davante Adams looked much better with Rodgers throwing to him than now with Murray.
  19. He may have still been ruled a foot short as was very close to hitting ground when he fumbled.
  20. Think Poyer being out hurt the entire secondary, no one out there to take control of things. Certainly Hyde being missing too, but we'll be without him all year.
  21. So in the NBA getting kicked out of a game includes a suspension for next game. What are NFL rules on that?
  22. One thing I think you'd need is an 18 week schedule so all teams have an extra bye, maybe scheduled around their Europe trip. Would also mean the Europe teams would need to make two 4 week trips to the US so even two byes aren't going to help them. Do think there's a huge difference between playing a handful of games over there each season as that's more of a novelty and now having a full time "home" team to support. I'm kind of of skeptical of that working very well.
  23. Was expecting this, thought it would take a little longer though
  24. As mentioned when a team is playing early on opposite network, they will typically show late game instead. Kind of strange as it's then going up against the "Big, national 4:25 game" Romo is here because it's still the best CBS game that day. Could maybe make a case that Miami-Jets is better matchup, but Steelers are also a large followed team too. Damm it why the #%&@ is Carolina playing @#^&(&% late!
  25. Yeah got to figure, we're near the bottom of the waiver wire anyway. If it gets that close to us, good chance he clears anyway.
