  1. Finally read the article. Actually really don't have much of a problem with it as his point is more based on everything going on behind the scenes, it's time to move on. The problem I have is know idea how much of the stuff being reported is close to the truth. If it is then would agree, they should move on and maybe it will happen after the draft.
  2. Whaley will be here through the draft. After that we shall see. After the draft ends is often the time teams make changes anyway. It's also possible that DW knows he's gone after the draft, hence his not making much of any comments on different things.
  3. Sounds like Jerry did a great job with this article as he's getting plenty of responses. That makes it a success.
  4. While I don't believe much of what is written, just trying to put 2 and 2 together and come up with 6 and once in a while he may be right and then can say I told you so. Having said that often teams make front office personal leadership changes after the draft. So lets see if anything were to change in early May.
  5. So if you sign Cutler, or Kap, today's BN suggests bringing Fitz back, or whomever, are the Bills still drafting a QB? If so, are you then going to keep 4 QB's on your 53 man roster? That's alot at one position where likely if things go as planned three of them won't play at all. If you draft a QB up to the 4th round, you likely can't pass him through to the practice squad as someone likely would grab him if cut. The Bills did that with Levi Brown, but he was a 7th rounder.
  6. Not saying politics doesn't matter and he'd likely cause a distraction due to all the questions raised. In time would slow down and go away. LOL For all that claim they'd be done with the team, I'd be surprised if even one out of ten actually gave up on the team. The question is can he actually play and help. The advantage of having a guy like him as a back up would be you wouldn't have to re-do the offense if something happened to Tyrod as he could likely run all the same plays. It is hard to figure out what happened to him on the field that caused him to go from looking real good, to real bad.
  7. Guess we could have kept Rex then if you wanted the same coach?? Explain to me why you seem to think we are rebuilding the team? Most of the players that left were FA, likely if Rex was still here still would have went elsewhere as doubt we'd have matched contracts for say Gilmore and Woods. We'll never make up for the lost of EJ I'm sure. The only FA that I'd like to see come back is Zack Brown and not sure he still won't. We cut Carpenter who many were happy to see, the only names of note that we let go were Corey Grahm and Nikell Robey. The majority of the players on last years roster are still here. In general terms though yes when you hire a new coach, he brings his coaching style to the team not the other way around and that's true wit hevery team i nthe league that hires someone new. If you don't want ot keep changing players, then you don't change coaches. The Rex hiring was a mistake for many reasons that have nothing to do wit hSunday afternoons, TP realized it and decided to cut his loses now and move on. Was it a set back, yes, but better to do it now than a year or two from now.
  8. Unlike most posters here. Could be one of these guys the Bills offered a long term contract too, but he wanted to test the market. Once he realizes no offers coming, he will come back and sign an extension with Buffalo. I'm assuming there are no rules agaisnt offering an extension to a player you just tendered??
  9. Just read an article on MSN news about the worst FA signing this year. Bill's were mentioned twice. First for the dumb move by the Rams for Over paying for ex Bill's receiver Robert Woods who has shown to be no more than a #2 but the Ram's are paying him like a #1 Then SF signed some fullback and way over paid at $5mil per year which they compared him against the FB the Bills just signed for $1.2 mil.
  10. Could be hard to be on top of your game when you hardly get to play? Kind of which came first the chicken or the egg?? Did he not play enough to stay focused or did he not play because he wasn't good enough. We shall see. Great, then why not find a new team and new message board to post too. Why add to your misery by posting things and constantly being reminded how bad things are?
  11. Wow, you mean there's another team in fact a team that won a super Bowl recently that must have a front office as clueless as Buffalo does. That's amazing!
  12. Fixed it for you To think people who post on message board know more than people that actually do this for a real living is pretty laughable.
  13. The only blunder here is by you and many other weekend warriors who think you understand how to run a football team. When you start offering higher tenders for backups you'll be in salary trouble real fast. Did he play very well, yes, could he replace Woods, yes, but so can others. It's amazing how many are getting bent out of shape and blaming the Bills for losing a backup. Get a grip!
  14. Exactly,. It amazes me how many people here can say Glenn won't care. Does anyone here actually think how things actually work in real life?? And many of these same people then rip the Bills FO.
  15. Dumb question, what is "BBMB"? And what happened to it?
  16. t's hard to take someone very serious who has 25 posts to his name and starts a new topic on something that has been discussed many times prior. The first thing to come to mind is you're a troll, second thing is if legit, starting a thread like this just makes you look dumb and not a person to take serious and who deserves all the abuse you get. You come off as the guy walking into a new job and the first day starts telling everyone how to do their jobs better. (and not saying that to be nasty, just telling you how you appear to most others) This place should enact rules built into profile that all new members joining site can't post for at least 60 days and can't start new topics until they have at least 500 posts.
  17. No just hate for people with agenda's who'll post on any topic being discussed and somehow relate it back the point they make in every post they make. I hate... (fill In the blank) Or they keep posting on the same topic with really nothing new to add except to try and further their agenda as you did.
  18. And the second thing is people with agenda's! In fact that's likely #1!
  19. You know it's funny. I started to read your response, got to the point I posted below and was thinking you were going to say next was that his outcome is better than average. But you went the other way. Everyone brings up his passing stats at being average at best which I don't disagree with. While that is true, I don't think it's purely coincidence that the Bills were one of the top rushing teams and top scoring teams and has nothing whatsoever to do with TT. He does bring certain intangibles to the position that can't be statistically measured but all the TT haters completely ignore that part. I'm not a TT lover or hater, just looking at it from the standpoint, they have a much better chance at getting worse without him than better. They can still draft a QB, just not a #10 and stick with TT
  20. Yeah was thinking about that, if the vote was still to come, I'm pretty certain he would have got even less votes than whatever total he did get. Kind of had an issue with his whole nomination. Don't recall the details, but he got into whatever charity it was because of his own sick child was effected, yes he went well beyond his own child, but comparing to Eli and Fitz, they did what they did just to do good.
  21. Yeah but that's the general model for all afternoon shows. Same model Shoop and the dope follow.
  22. I get it you hate DW, so you post some ridiculous dumb dribble to try and get people on the fire DW bandwagon. First off, if they do tank, do you honestly believe this was solely his idea, that he never mentioned this to either Terry P or McDermott and they are all shocked by this happening. Assume Terry P did buy into it, if that were the plan it would have been easier and much smarter to have fired DW right now when you hired a new coach. IMO Rex got fired after two seasons, not because of his record and no making the playoffs, but it was everything else about him, too many times either 10 or 12 men on the field, dumb penalties, constant bragging not even close to backed up, and many other similar things. I think a couple of things Terry learned from this past Rex episode is to let the footballs guys decide on the coach which appears to have happened this time. Barring a complete off the field meltdown similar to Rex, I'd be very surprised if McDermott isn't kept for at least 4 seasons regardless how well his record is or isn't as Terry doesn't like sudden change. In Rex's case there were some extenuating circumstances that made it happen much faster than he'd have liked. But unless some issue develops either between DW and Terry and again between DW and McDermott, I think DW would also last the four seasons with McDermott. Four years from now, then they both go, but anyone hoping to see DW go sooner will likely be disappointed.
  23. As common that cockroaches are in NYC surprised it even costs $10!
  24. This whole topic makes you wonder some how much real information is out there as to where teams value players. What Todd and Mel and everyone else in the media state means nothing. What do the teams really think and how much info is out there to get a good feel for what other teams plan to do. Back in 2013, supposedly the Eagles were going to pick Manual in the low 20's and that was part of the alleged reason DW didn't drop down lower. How much is really known where other teams value players??
  25. As much as it pains me, that is also my thought. Many of their better players are at relatively less expensive positions, they have a few years to go before they'd have to pay big $$ for Dak and would be surprised if he ever gets to the point of commanding top QB $$'s. When Elliotts contract is up, can easily replace him with another rookie as RB is the easiest spot to throw a rookie into.
