  1. OK so the clock started on 10/7, was wondering what the date was. Seemed like with Norman you heard a bit of his progress once the clock started, not a whole lot then either but at least something. Here haven't heard anything since the first day that they announced he had practiced.
  2. Switching back up QB's in mid season isn't something a team does unless forced to by injury. If we decide off season to make a change fine, now, bad idea.
  3. Haven't seen anything regarding the status of Feleciano in the last ten days or so?? I believe there's usually a specific date they have to be activated by once they started practicing?
  4. Think we already have him, a guy by the name of Moss, but hurt right now. But also agree more important things to worry about than RB.
  5. Am I missing something or wasn't our kick coverage and kick return units one of the highest rated in the league prior to last weeks game? Is Farwell somehow singling from the sideline to Roberts to run them out? Or is it just bad choices from Roberts? Likely the game plan is any kickoffs less than "X" yards into the endzone, you run our. Was Tenn kicking them higher but short so the distance was in the range to run out, but maybe with extra hang time allowed Tenn to cover well. Would think it would be rather difficult for the kickoff return guy to accurately judge hang time to then make a split second decision as to whether to run it out or not.
  6. There was an article in todays Athletic that also mentioned Desmond King to the Bills. Once Wallace comes back could he solve the nickel spot? Then have White, Norman, Wallace?? Or is Wallace outside only?
  7. Imagine what those skate blades could do to the O lineman
  8. Trick Question! If you avoided the internet, how could you answer this? And yes I tend to avoid the internet
  9. Maybe Shoup has taken him under his wing! Teach him the ropes.
  10. Yeah but Star rarely played on passing downs, same with Lorax While I agree with your overall thought, the guys they replaced tended to be middling too. The Bills whole line concept for a couple years now is we're not signing any superstars, but we're going to be able to roll 8 strong players so by the time we're in the 4th quarter, the other team will be tired and we'll win the battles Can recall much was written how about half of Phillips sacks were the result of him being in the right place at the right time rather than a great play by him so hard to determine, is it him or not.
  11. Same with Alexander, he also didn't play on passing downs, trying to recall, did Lawson play on passing downs, didn't think so? So the only real pass rushing threat lost from last year is Jordan Phillips, but much of what was written about him, of his 9 sacks half of them were more due to him being in the right place at the right time, rather than a great play by him. The Bills D-line is built around the concept of we're going to roll waves of fresh players at you, so maybe your best DE is a better pass rusher than ours, but in the 4th quarter our fresh players who are still all good will blow by your tied and weary. So far that hasn't exactly worked out to plan! Last year it did seem to work with on paper weaker players.
  12. Big question there will be who is available to play or still injured
  13. And somehow you know Barkley will be better at this? I'd think a punters hand must be pretty good, else they'd be dropping the snaps on punts. The problem too is rotation which to me would seem to be a more a mental thing. As to using another player, the Bills like most teams in the league use their punter. 30 years ago was easy to have Frank Reich stay after practice an extra 1/2 or so to practice with the kickers. Today with so much limitations on practice due to the CBA, teams don't want to pull the backup QB or pretty much any players for that matter from their positional drills, full practice, meetings, whatever to work with the kicker. Maybe Bass wants the ball spotted 1/2 step closer or further than Haush did so the number of rotations on the ball when Bojo receives the snap has changed from prior??
  14. Its very easy to say this shouldn't bother them (and it shouldn't) but all the on again off again, on top of when is the next game against KC being played I'm sure did affect them. Particularly the events of Sunday. After two days straight of all things looking like a go, Sunday all we (and likely the team too to some extent) seemed to be hearing was the NFL will be making an announcement. Easy to say not an excuse which is true, but not so easy to say that it might have effected and/or distracted them.
  15. That will be a big cap hit.
  16. Was that game originally on CBS or was that on ABC?
  17. Could the Bills have something completely different planned defensively like when they go to three LB's the 3rd one is basically an extra D-lineman like a D Johnson and he will provide coverage support as needed.
  18. Forgot about that! Unless they've already soured on Rosen, Didn't take Miami long.
  19. Would think the logic used to move the Bills up would also have applied to Green Bay and they should be #2 and Bills #3. Would it have been so bad for PFT to wait till Wednesday AM to have published this? This isn't a typical week so wait a day.
  20. Agree, can't see them getting much of anything in return for a mid-season QB trade, they'd do better at year end. Bucs certainly would make sense as Bradys heir but you still have this issue of the contract, by the end of 2021 his contract will be up unless you pick up the option and that still only gives you one more year so if you don't plan to play him regularly in the next two seasons, he likely becomes a big unknown. Saints and Steelers would think a better option could by Ryan as they are ready to win now and have a smaller window left. Think Rivers is older than Ryan??
  21. Was kidding! Meant it as a way to guarantee losing!
  22. Question for you, why would the Jets trade Darnold if he's worth a 1st and 2nd in return? Sounds like you think he's playing well? If so you don't trade away a QB playing really good. Unless he's not playing really good, then why would any team give up that much for him? Maybe you could get a 2nd for him, but not likely mid-season as it's not likely you bring in a QB mid season and expect him to be able to learn the playbook and become your starter. Maybe you bring him in as a backup, but can't see giving up a #2 for a backup. Plus in off season would need to decide if you want to pick up the 5th year option basically without seeing much of his play. Maybe a team like Dallas that now needs a backup, but still don't them giving up that much for him when there are also other options out there.
  23. Did you mean to say give a first and second for him? Probably a better chance of that happening!
  24. 12 men on the field is a penalty, is there a penalty for only 9 or 8??
