  1. Actually yes you could have been more clear by stating you are local to Western NY. I also did say OR are you in the Western NY area, and just don't have access to a TV? Maybe if you had been more clear WhoTom wouldn't have posted a picture of an antenna either. So guess I'm not alone in not understanding your need. There are often posts here of people out of the area figuring out ways to watch out of market games and CBS All Access often comes up as will is that an option that would work for me and the answer given them is no. Most posts here are from out of area people trying to scheme a way to watch the games. Now that I actually understand what you want to do, the answer is no , I don't have any ideas for you. And for someone looking for help you're certainly being a jerk about it!
  2. Saw one article that quoted the same numbers and also commented that it's an extension which means it's in effect after the 5th year option and seemed to imply that was a good thing. But with a reduced cap next year, wouldn't that be a bad thing as the 5th year option price is fairly high?
  3. That looks a lot like my antenna too and even the very close on the shingle color too. Actually I have the Clearstream II not the IV connected to a TIVO DVR
  4. Guess I don't understand what you're trying to accomplish? CBS All Access will only allow you to watch the game that is on the local CBS affiliate wherever you're located. Or are you in the Western NY area, and just don't have access t oa TV? I live in North Carolina, so CBS Access would give me the same and only the same game that is on local TV. There are some comments here in the past that you can spook your IP address to a location where the game is being shown, then All Access may work. But I've played around with that a little and results are sporadic. This week they are playing the Jets so probably easy to find an FTP server in NYC to latch onto. But if playing a team like Cinncy or Tenn, not sure how easy it would even be to find a server to jump onto?? Really didn't address the Fox issues as even if there were an app it would fall under the same rules of the local station only. There are other ways to watch the games on line certainly as many people here talk about. I can tell you that a close friend of mine says they are very reliable too.
  5. Hey all CEN-CAL said was don't be surprised if was cut. He didn't say anything about tomorrow! Give the guy a break!
  6. OK so what is the correct name? When typing it thought I may be off a couple of letters or so.
  7. Agree and then the league tries to close those paths to roster shenanigans, then the teams figure out a new one. Wouldn't shock me to see the NFLPA doesn't like this and if so will pressure the league to eliminate the practice somehow.
  8. Agree and trust can be construed as side deals or unwritten promises which I would think the league would frown on. One article I read stated Brian Boehm is a likely candidate for this too.
  9. Yes but from everything stated, the teams are cutting side deals,, telling the player we're going to cut you, bring you back on Sunday and for your trouble we'll give you an extra $50 k bonus or something. Agree it's not circumventing the rule, but I think it's circumventing the spirit of the rule. Will not be supervised to hear some March at the NFL owners meeting a new rule is in place that eliminates this process. Assuming they can figure out a way to prevent it.
  10. I'm not talking about the future considerations part, I'm talking about cutting a guy and bringing him back the next day so you can get another player on the 53 to be able to IR him with the designation to return. There was an article I read today that another player who may fit this deal is Brian Boehm, he has more than 4 years so is a straight cut, then bring him back and IR Feliciano. to me this seems like a back door way to circumvent the rules. Understand everyone else can and do also do this, but just doesn't seem like something the league wants to encourage and what does the NFLPA feel about this? Do they feel it restricts movement??
  11. If this is the plan to come back and re-sign him on Sunday, I do wonder if the league will change the rules in future years to prevent this somehow? While I understand they are not breaking any rules and that every team in the league can make such moves and likely many others are doing a similar thing, I do question if the league rules were developed with the intent of allowing these types of side deals. I'm guessing not and won't be shocked to see them close this loophole, though off the top of my head, can't see an easy way to prevent these things from happening.
  12. I'm just kidding, though not sure it's a trade in the works as just haven't yet announced the final cuts in those areas. Could be trying to re-work the Morphy deal?
  13. Wow 14 defensive lineman still on the roster. With that much depth it's Super Bowl all the way!!
  14. While I am fine with the move and expected him to be cut and thought all the people here pining for Duke and making the case of why he should make the 53 were all completely crazy, I also think of all the young Bills players being cut today, he likely has one of the best chances of being picked up by another team as there is actual game film of his play and he did OK when called upon. Will see if he's signed elsewhere.
  15. So I wonder what happens now, he's cut so no pick to Carolina, then the sign him back Sunday, does Carolina still then get a pick as he was now signed as a FA?
  16. Any even with 7 it likely won't include Duke Williams much to the dismay of thousands here!
  17. So does he now become the highest drafted player waived from the 2018 draft? Believe he was the 10th overall pick?? Could that even be an all time record to be selected that high and waived after 2 seasons? And was traded after 1 season! There's been plenty of higher drafted players, even #1 overall, but usually make it at least through 3 seasons when selected that high. Maybe they are traded, but not waived?
  18. I wonder if the picture on the right was taken when they told him he was being placed on IR? I'd vote for that. Was wondering if they'd consider that. Technically what is the difference between a full back and guy built like Moss? If you need a true FB for certain plays, couldn't Moss fill that role?
  19. How is that a classy move? True he gets paid, but I'd be willing to bet if DeMarco could still play this year, he'd have rather been cut than placed on IR where now he sits out an entire year. He plays a position that not too many teams even use, so sitting out a full year won't help his career too much. Wouldn't be shocked to see him released with an injury settlement.
  20. Sounds more from everything that as written was Dobson out preformed him and with the Bills only playing two LB's as much as they do, only a need for 5 total, Milano, Edmunds, Klein, Mr M, and Dobson. (Not going to even try to spell Mr M!) Kind of funny I was saying and thinking that before camp started. But after 5 weeks of PUP for Sweeney, gave up and assumed Smith was on roster and Sweeney to PUP. Now this!
  21. OK, but the date is 4:00 Saturday for cuts. Admittedly surprised haven't heard anything yet as seemed like last year some cuts were made on Friday. Must be still reviewing the tapes from the 4th pre-season game?
  22. A month ago, I'd have said they won't cut Fronm, now from everything you hear, would not shock me if he's cut and could pass through waivers.
  23. That could be the "stalling part"
  24. OK, guess I didn't realize it was all guaranteed. Obviously I haven't seen him play, but reading articles; BN, Athletic, etc, all have Winters also being cut. So kind of surprised then and assume it wasn't guaranteed, unless cutting him is still the lesser of the dead cap than others on the line?
  25. So then why is he in the HOF if it's not for the story part? And stating he shouldn't be in the HOF isn't an answer because he is there. So then why, if not the story, not the talent, then why??
