Another foot injury for Tyler Kroft

Think Pegula's daughter keeps stepping on the TE's feet while wearing her spiked heels! -
Zach Cunningham signs extension with Houston

Does Gabe Davis's play allow them to cut Brown at year end, and if so would that save them enough money to then re-sign Milano. Assuming this would allow the money to work out relatively even, the advantage is you have Browns apparent replacement already on the roster, where as you don't have Milano's replacement unless either Johnson or Dobson (is it?) becomes that guy?? -
I'll wait to season end to highlight staff's superiority. He did well enough in practice to win job, but lets see how the real games go first. It's easier to know when a kicker isn't ready to know when he is ready until you play the real games. Very often highly touted rookie kickers miss a bunch, get cut and replaced by a vet, but then 3 or 4 years later they are in the Pro-Bowl.

Figuring out the OL depth chart
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think he needs to be IR'd after first game. I thought he just needs to be o nthe 53 next Saturday. They can then place him on IR on Sunday and then has potential to return. Maybe then they Cut Boehm Saturday with promise to bring him back on Sunday with a small bump in $$ -
No way to Duke! Hodkins is a 7th rounder, that trumps a FA who's bounced around a few years. Duke served a purpose last year as he was the one true big WR they had. That's no longer the case as both Davis and Hodkins can fill that spot. For the same reason, can't see Croom making it either. He also filled a role as a big almost a WR type TE. Now with the improvments in their WR group and the added size, no need for him either. Two weeks ago, I'd have agreed about Smith as would have picked Sweeney over him, but with Sweeney on PUP think makes Smith secure. If Jones doesn't get healthy soon could see Yeldon taking his spot. Not sure if Yeldon has been playing some ST lately or not?? For same reason and saves some $$ wouldn't be too shocked to see Gilliam take DeMarco's spot either. Didn't I read that Gilliam was a ST stud in college?? Make you keep him for ST and then not as much need for Yeldon to play ST. Would like to see Yeldon active as he does offer something as a pass receiving RB. Again maybe not needed as much as sounds like Moss could also fill that role.

Will Beane make a trade before cuts?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to ColoradoBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they could trade Bodine last year, anything is possible along with Teller too! It has to be young guys on cheap contracts so that limits the list, but here's my thoughts on who you could maybe get something in return: There's a handful of offensive lineman to choose from Ike, Winters, Bates, Boehm Jason Croom, Duke, McKenzie, Foster, V Taylor, Love, Cox I'd also think if the Bills planned to keep DE Johnson, but they were offering either Cox or Love for a 7th, but a team cam back andsaid they'd give us a 5th for Johnson, he'd likely make that move too. -
Maybe instead it will be Bass Pro!

I always maintained we won because when the game was still close, Marino went back to his true self, panicked and stopped running the ball in the 2nd half, then threw a couple of int's. While the Bills were ahead on the scoreboard , I felt Miami controlled the 1st half, towards the end of the 1st half the Bills scored and think they also scored on the 1st possession of Q3. After that Marino put the game on his arm and things went down hill from there.

Bills Entire Marketing Dept Steps Down

Yes! Apparently there's a post on Linkedin for the position according to the article. -
Obviously you do as you wouldn't have taken the time to respond if you didn't!

How many games did Morse miss last year? I recall how doomed we were last year as he sat at all of training camp and the pre-season because of a concussion. He's never going to last a full season everyone was stating. There were even threads discussing whether he may decide to suddenly retire. Sept rolled around, he played every game. Seems like I recall there was even a second Bills player last year who also missed most of the pre-season and everyone was worried there too. My point is this lingering hamstring may be just fine when the games count. And yes I do know McD made a comment on it, but didn't see much about the context it was stated in, so will worry about when we get to around Sept 5th or so. What is cut down day this year anyway? It's typically always the Saturday after the last pre-season game, so is it still Sept 5th?

I wonder if once the regular season starts to prevent this type of issue with false positives, but who knows for certain if false; will the NFL adapt a system where all samples are sent to two sites for testing? To sideline a player or coach, need a positive from both sites. Can you imagine the mess created if players were forced to sit out a game and turns out the test was wrong. I mean who knows how many people BB knows who work in testing centers!!

Bills have Ziggy Ansah on their radar

But the article doesn't even say he sent us a tape. I states the 49's viewed a tape. So no actual connection stated -

I'm not one to normally pick on the media, but do wonder if the "bills Interest" in nothing more than they wanted him last year so that automatically means they are interested in him now. I mean is there any actually connection between him and the Bills recently? -
You knew the SEC wouldn’t cancel their season
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I pulled up the Alabama roster just to have a look. On their 90 man (is it) roster, they list 19 line backers, 11 WR, 7 TE, and believe it or not 4 long snappers. With no non-conference games this year, can't imagine so of these guys at the bottom of the roster ever seeing field. Maybe in a kneel down against the weakest SEC teams, but even then, likely the #12 LB is some 5 star freshman who'll they still will give the playing time too. Would think at some point, these players who are never going to see the field will decide that off campus party they heard about this coming Wednesday night sounds pretty good, maybe I'll break the rules and go have some fun. I'd think if the SEC wants to maximize the chances of playing, they should cut the roster sizes down to maybe around 65 or so. Get rid of all walk-ons or anyone they feel isn't going to play. Let them keep any "rewards", scholarships, meal plans, etc they have got, but get them away from the rest of the team to reduce the potential spread of virus. -
If Allan became a total flop this season and they likely are going to re-start at QB, then likely plenty of money to go around. But assuming Allen works out likely they can't resign all these guys. And then Milano may become the odd man out. One theory is they will be looking closely at the LB who was on IR last season, (Was Joseph his last name?) if he works out, then maybe Milano isn't resigned. So maybe they wait until after the season to decide whether to sign him, also by then would have a much better idea on what the cap will actually be next year.

So what, that doesn't mean they can't be the back up long snapper. Exactly how many long snaps has Smith done in his storied NFL career? If the Bills are even the smallest bit intent on keeping Smith on the roster because he's the back up long snapper, I'd suggest we all find a different team to start rooting for because this team isn't going anyway. If they can cut their starting RB last season, a guy who'd been to multiple pro-bowls, one of the league leaders in rushing, I think they can cut their back up long snapper!!
