  1. well done but expecting any team to sweep their division is a very tall order esp with our track record against the Pats and BB; the Dolphins will be improved and might be playing for a playoff spot in week 17 and the Jets seem to find a way to play us tough no matter and eek out Ws over the years You have a lot of close games going our way as well Who knows the effects of the virus once these guys break camp; being younger guys, very social, away from home, conjugal visits, the off-days, the bye weeks...we havent does this before and there has to be positive cases looming...shutting down practices while guys get re-tested, the waiting, possible quarantines, the value of possible replacements, all this and the usual injuries....sigh
  2. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/ = 17.2 M of cap spave available - 14th most in the league - likely to go down a bit this week with camp cuts and the corresponding dead cap associated but that is league-wide... Winters official cap numbers were finally published - 1 year 3M - fully guaranteed -some give and take - took a pay cut compared to prior contract but gave him the 100% guaranteed money...not likely to be a camp cut this week... So..predicting-figuring the OL depth chart...is still a mystery RT - Ford - Williams or Nsekhe RG - Winters - Ford (could be Ford if either one of the above are good enough at RT and we just dont know) C - Morse - Boehm LG - Spain - Winters LT - Dawkins - Williams or Bates - So the questions are: Is Williams the backup at LT and RT - does that make Nsekhe a possible cut if Williams is capable of that ? Nsekhe has the much bigger cap number over Williams as well - plus dont think he swings to LT ? Boehm is listed as the only backup C - at least until Feliciano returns and when is that ? a mid-season IR candidate.. I don't see him being carried on active as the spot is too valuable on gameday. Spain seems safe this season as his cap number is 4.5M guaranteed When Feliciano returns, someone on the OL likely cut, unless injuries dictate...at that point Boehm could be as he plays only C ? I dont see Feliciano being cut tho it would be a cap saver over Boehm. Couple practice squad spots for vets as well which is pure conjecture at this point...flame on beotches
  3. well our interior was gashed a few times last season, most notably the Eagles game and the game against the Skins I had the binocs on them as AP ran wild again, including carrying Levi like a bag of groceries when Wallace tried to tackle him up-high in the backfield...sure the DL has to absorb the OL but LBs need to make the right reads as well and the quickness this all happens thru binocs is something to behold...to me the reads of the LBs is just as important as the interior DL play.

  5. yeah McD threw him to the wolves, road game against a good D and the bigly fail was the 5 picks in the first half... but NP's Bills stats qualify him for historical bad of all freaking time; which of course happen to mention yet another Bills qb along the way...sigh https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2804566-is-nathan-peterman-the-worst-nfl-quarterback-ever
  6. peterman remains one of, it not thee biggest, boil on the ace of the Bills epic fails...and there are plenty of other candidates...

  8. the Bass rook is going to be Bass O Matic
  9. wow...imagine if one of Trumps or Obamas kids played or were an athletre...contempt to the max (and you dont want to see Tiffany without makeup from what I've heard - I guess that is an example...I will see my self out now)
  10. oh that guy, lots of sacks at Boise State but fell to the fifth round #164 pick per wikipedia After redshirting his first year at Boise State in 2016, Weaver played in all 14 games in 2017, recording 33 tackles, 11 sacks and one interception.[1] As a redshirt sophomore in 2018, he had 43 tackles and 9.5 sacks.[2][3] During his redshirt junior year in 2019, he set the Mountain West Conference record for career sacks. and was Mountain West Conf defensive player of the year 4] ....After this season, Weaver announced that he would forgo his final year of eligibility and enter the 2020 NFL Draft.[5]
  11. If your VPN doesn't bounce you to a Buffalo area server location, you still won't get the "local" Bills games. Scope out how many servers you can link to with a VPN and where first Or Rochester NY or the the market of the opposing team servers Does Toronto TV show Bills games ? Dont think so. Streaming is also an option....check out Dofu sports app from the apple or google store...streams all the major pro and college sports...for do I dare say...for free...
  12. you could also consider sling TV for Bills and Sabres games if you have friends or family in Buffalo that would watch the games.
  13. thanks very insightful Tre is a humble kid and the fact that he spoke very favorably and candidly about his position coach and db mates was very positive HS class valedictorian and graduated from LSU in 3.5 years as a student athlete speaks to his intelligence, focus and determination
  14. no 1. I am a cheap bastard and I dont see value 2. no live games provided - watching replays is redundant to NFL Network and the rest of the talk stuff can be found elsewhere already, so you adding to a crowded space. 3. PSE would likely produce and or control content and that would be a big negative based on recent-past history...
  15. timing not favorable for the minority of CFL players who would get an NFL look; would they qualify for practice squad eligibility ? as they would need the practices and time to learn playbook, better more advanced positional coaching, increased speed of the game, etc
  16. culture - its a mindset based on attitude and bahavior back in the day when HoF coach Joe Gibbs had the Washington football team formerly known as the Redskins on run deep into playoffs and Super Bowls for several years, he would personally award Sony walkmans to the top players of the week and the players extra-excited to get them, they could buy them of course and or had them already, but getting them from coach in front of the entire team was the key. Extra point: After a road game played late season Saturday in NE, Coach Gibbs on the way home from the airport took two game balls signed by the entire to a retired lon-time high school coach who was intensive care at a hospital and coach spent 10 mins with around mid-nite with him...all coach asked for was for access and 10 mins...cleared by hospital admin and coach asked to keep this private.
  17. the annual ziggy watch....yawn
  18. beer, food, Tim Hortons, pizza, wings, health care, state and county govt...oh and sports, did I miss something regarding the Buffalo economic landscape ?
  19. good analysis, but I still want-hope to see some circle or wheel routes from the RBs Burkhhead is but 5-10 and 214 lbs - so not the FB - but I do like this stat line (which is why I am a tad anal on the topic) In 13 games last season, Burkhead rushed for 302 yards and three touchdowns and also caught 27 passes for 279 yards...point being a slow-guy like him is able to avg 10 YPC and Yeldon only 4 YPC...call me confused... New England Patriots running back Rex Burkhead reworked the final year of his contract. Burkhead's base compensation drops from $3 million to $2 million, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported. The restructuring includes a $550,000 signing bonus, $1.05 million in base salary and $400,000 in per-game roster bonuses. ESPN first reported the new deal. Pelissero noted that the guaranteed portion -- the $550,000 signing bonus -- is the same amount of guarantee that Cam Newton got from the Patriots on his incentive-laden one-year pact. Burkhead signed a three-year, $9.75 million contract with the Patriots in 2018. A versatile weapon, the 30-year-old has not played a full slate of games in three seasons with the Pats due to injury.
  20. one thing I am focusing on is the pass-catching ability of the Bills RBs, esp Moss, this is an under-utilized aspect of the offense that I would like to see increase in as it helps diversify and further complicate the defensive gameplaning and in=game assignments; Pats are able to do this to including Rex Burkhead who catches 25-30 passes as a freaking useless FB a la our very own P Dimarco, Burkhead has burned us as well...
  21. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duane_Thomas total head case, Super Bowl MVP (not), but there are some good quotes he made, seems the Cowboys brought him back x 3, plus the trade to NE is bizarre and involves a player who would later become a Bill.. .saw something on NFL films years ago where he would not talk to team-mates during practice or film sessions to the point where they would call him out...contract-related behavior
  22. ahem, I stand corrected...I refer to them, the local team[of which I am not a fan] as the Washington football team formerly known as the Redskins...I think this is politically correct as well as factual (alternative fact maybe)...flame on beotches
