Dion Dawkins restructured- $7.8M cap space
First Round Bust replied to One Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall
old news - cap needed for current season IR, PS and roster elevetions etc... new news - hope they included a specific bonus to keep Dawkins getting overly-emotional during Jets game per usual and loosing focus with stupid penalties. -
Food - Bar Bill Tavern, followed by Mulberry Ristorante and La Nova's (managed by a reputed retired mafiaso) Then check out Niagara Falls from the Canadian side, bring passport and money to gamble, and then to Toronto to spend a day in the city, and to Letchworth State park in the country , Mom and Pop..shop at Camillos market in Sloan NY for meat specials that folks lineup for outside as well as pierogis and Redlinski store in Cheektowoga for kielbasa and the Polish Villa restaurant

Will Prater Be Signed to the 53?
First Round Bust replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Prater has not missd any kicks, plus a game-winner that he so cooly walked-up with the clock running and nailed, tho Hamilton missed blocking by a hair as our edge missed the block...so Prater is good....with lingering pelvic soreness Bass may have a sports hernia ? surgery would have him out 2-3 months, if so the answer is IR and Prater replaces (now the oldest player to every play for the Bills)...one for the old guys ! -
Did the Bills win, or di the Ravens lose?
First Round Bust replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
must we apologize for winning...first regular season game always has warts as far as team being in synch, players esp reneeding reps, tackling and game shape, etc, etc -
and protecting from injury..its a two-edge sword...they do need the reps..esp the tackling and angles needed to do properly... Rapp like to hit..but not be hit

if so... There are two main types of surgical techniques used to treat sports hernias: Open Surgery: . The surgeon makes a larger incision in the groin area to access and repair the injured tissues. Laparoscopic Surgery: . This is a minimally invasive procedure that uses small incisions and a camera to guide the surgeon. Recovery and Rehabilitation After surgery, patients typically require a period of rest and rehabilitation to allow the injured tissues to heal. Physical therapy is an important part of the recovery process and may include exercises to strengthen the core, hip, and groin muscles. Most patients can return to their previous level of activity within 6-12 weeks after surgery. However, it is important to follow the surgeon's instructions carefully and avoid activities that may aggravate the condition. Success Rates The success rates for sports hernia surgery are generally high. Studies have shown that over 90% of patients report significant improvement in pain and function after surgery.

anymore ? maddening ! remember Leodis McKelvin...first rounder and very first DB/CB taken in 2008 draft which has to our worst draft...evah...besides fumbling a kick-off return he should have downed in the endzone inside 2 mins with the Bills winning and then loosing to Brady/Pats because of that... see also JD Williams, he off the need for the flame-######ant jersey...cant believe he is CB coach for Fresno State..must be a "do as I say not as I did" coach both would run with and chase WRs all game with no sense of what else was going on... how do you coach "turn your head and not the body once or twice for a split second" based on the timing of film study as when to expect the ball to be thrown or in the air ???

several sources report the Koch family purchased the 10% of NYG, hearing 10B as NYG net worth (below) ...1B which is some nice walking around cash while still still owning an overwhelming majority of an NFL team.. https://www.forbes.com/teams/new-york-giants/

Trey doesnt pracice yesterday and may not today or rest of week and Benford was limited yesterday..Looks lik Ingram may start and should be limited or removed from ST out fo necessity so Franklin gets the elevation and the reps and the pay..Prater may be a gametime decision.. we are starting a 3rd stringer and a rookie (Strong) may have to play (some) for Benford..sub-opitmal

What’s your favorite Bills opening day game?
First Round Bust replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
ahh..the memories...of a lil kid at the ole Rcokpile (War Memorial)..first Bills game evah....Sept 19. 1971... Cowboys 49 at Bills 37...Dennis Shaw thows 4 TD passes and the usual (3) picks OJ 6 with a 6-yard TD run in front me....Marlin the Magiican 100+ yards receiving...at least I saw some legends, mostly on the other side... plus rookiie Tony Greene (Bills safety) smallest NFL player I ever saw..looked like a JV player out there...Bills on the way to a 1-13 record in 1971...sigh.. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/197109190buf.htm -
Knox has the respect of Josh-coaches-players but not quite the play-maker the fans expected which is now going to be expected from Kincaid for plays and scores and Hawes for blocking..sad to say we could be looking at his last season (along with Milano) as a Bill as the cap has to be addressed...I also enjoyed him pounding beers with Tommy Doyle and others in Josh's (or sponsors ?) suite at Sabres games over the years...

fans were surpised/disappiointed over the Poyer and Phllips signings which is true if these two ever make it to the active roster on gameday other than late season cameo appearances to rest the weary before the playoffs (hopefully) but I see their value in coaching their young replacements in between practice reps, in the filmroom and the locker room and maybe over beer and wings (not sure about that vet-youth dynamic but the position groups normally bond as the O-linemen go to Connor McGovern's house on fridays after weigh-in to pigout on homemade pizzas.) Not hearing of any Bills player who were cut catching-on with other teams as of yet, 1-2 usually do...no Levi Wallace updates either I think the Bills punting on davidson from the PS was a shank, esp if he can boom punts ..wonder if can he kick FGs

Levi Wallace is in Buffalo (for lunch)
First Round Bust replied to 17islongenough's topic in The Stadium Wall
extact from WIKIPEDIA - Levi Wallace Denver Broncos On April 22, 2024, the Denver Broncos signed Wallace to a one-year contract. While filling in for an injured Riley Moss in Week 13 against the Cleveland Browns, Wallace struggled against former Broncos receiver Jerry Jeudy who recorded nine catches for 235 yards and a touchdown, the majority of which occurred with Wallace in coverage. This led to Wallace being benched in favor of rookie Kris Abrams-Draine in the 4th quarter On December 24, Wallace was waived by the Broncos....Merry F-ing XMAS Jacksonville Jaguars On August 2, 2025, the Jacksonville Jaguars signed Wallace. He was placed on injured reserve on August 9, and released on August 13 addendum: On Aug 26, 2025 Levi Wallace self-psoted INSTAGRAM post that he was in Buffalo...being fitted for a flame-######ant jersey -

First Round Bust replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
all good..so realistically...what is done that early/ahead of practice (2-3 hours in advance) Previuos day film review with OC/unit coaches would be the priority I think ..rand eview the exiisting playbook and add plays...as well as review the upcoming practice ...a personal workout...stretching....weights...cardio....massage...some lockeroom bonding-joking while they tape and dress for practice converations over breakfast with unit coaches, players...pre-practice. -
