Raiders New Stadium
First Round Bust replied to Buffalophil1948's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah a bunch of us are planning a road trip to Vegas upcoming season, expecting a lot of Bills fans to make the pilgrimage and check out the ice cream parlors, bingo halls and churches -
your point is well taken that the position has become more a punt catcher than returner

Buffalo Bills worst draft choices.
First Round Bust replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
warning this may induce vomiting: Walt Patulski - first pick of entire draft - at least he got traded for a #2 which turned out to be Joe Delvin who played well for us for years more 70s misses Phil Dokes - the Nebraska twins (LBs Rudd and Nelson) Tom Cousineau - never signed - went to CFL and Browns after crapping big-time on Buffalo Rueben Gant - as in can't - TE 80s whiffs Booker Moore - Guillen barre disease Tony Hunter - TE from ND taken before Jim Kelly Perry Tuttle - beware WRs from Clemson 90s super bowl misfit Darryl Williams (and his flame ######ant jersey) 20th century busts Erik Flowers - John Butler reach Aaron Maybin JP Losman - not just a number 1 but we traded more pick Leo McKelvin (first cb taken in the entire draft) Torrell Troupe (2nd rounder taken right before Gronk) -
high expectations qb is the highest paid position in the game so there is concern about the looming extension in 1-2 years Is Josh a later bloomer can he get better with accuracy and pocket presence and avoid stupid negative plays, picks, fumbles, etc if we dont get it right with him yeah we are kinda screwed like any other team i think he is doing his part, the OL is solidifying, we have improved the WR positions over the past two seasons, the schemes-plays-coaching is refining as well, I am sure the game is slowing down for him esp against good defenses and schemes hoping for the best, but as some point a decision will be made and expect this place to have a mushroom cloud over it

good point about paying 2 LBs, Edmunds is a must and ttwo LBs at 25M per season is very steep that alone makes the decision for me

Thielen bummed out about Diggs trade
First Round Bust replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Diggs, Brown, Beasley maybe the best trio since the 90s ? Name a better trio between now and then ? Then give Josh some better protection and better schemes-calls (no fly patterns for fullbacks come to mind for some off reason) Add some accuracy, maturity, touch from Josh and Diggs could be our first all-pro WR since ? Moulds, Lee Evans, Price ? -
its always the darkest before the dawn... my girlfriend is a dementia patient nurse with dozens of elderly who cannot care for themselves and would be prime victims of this virus if exposed and so far so good...she is so stressed at work and comes home so tired and worried about the staff and patients. doing my part; distancing, washing of the hands, donating to some charities, ..dipping into savings, being anti-social when I go out for groceries and drive-thru once a week, buying some stuff online not much but some...reading and praying and hoping, Bills news and the athletic pp help out, The Athletic now offers a 90 day free subscription is now avail , well worth it, Joe Posnanski is writing an incredible series on the top 100 players of all time and on his favotire players of all-time... Sirius radio is free for 45 days, or is 3.99 anyways well worth it anew Phish album came out this week...Sigma Oasis worth a listen if you are so inclined... HBONOW is offering free streaming service stating April 3 (Sat- tomorrow)..cant get me enough Sopranos..RIP James G... A friend...umh..says free porn at XVIDOES if you are so inclined...am not sure how to define porn but I know what it is when I see it,, hoping this all ends soon and we all come roaring back sooner rather than later and wiser best to you and yours

Could Pats tank for Lawrence?
First Round Bust replied to HardyBoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last month BB stood out in the rain to watch an on-campus workout at a small school in Tenn...his dad was a coach, he is coach, thats who he is and I dont think he cares much about other things other than listening to Bon Jovi while he works...looking forward to making him more miserable until he retires at age 89.... -
welcome Heffay - thanks for the lookup

ESPN ranks all 2019 picks
First Round Bust replied to Orlando Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oliver is ascending and so was horrible Harry last season'; Harrison Philips was getting pentetrations as well before the ACL injury early season against CIncy...the DT metrics show our new acquisition Quinton Jefferson as have the #4 DT win rate for sacks-pressures per ESPN, but that was going against single team blocking not double; but still am psyched to see all this talent and depth so should be better against the run and Addison should be better off the edge than Shaq was else they wouldn't have gone in that direction -
Want a WR in the 4th/5th round range?
First Round Bust replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
singletary also had an NFL father who played the same position; genes and high-level coaching at home and at an early age.. -

Bills are 3 pieces away from Super Bowl
First Round Bust replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
2 out 3 aint bad correct - maturity and accuracy improvement from our qb; reads, throwing WRs open, more loft than thrust on those deep balls, touc-accuracy on the short-intermediate throws; Diggs is going to help here as well... RB - yep - waiting for the vet RBs to drop their price, the market is telling them so, its just a matter of time as to which ? Miller (ACL tear last Aug, has two 1000+ seasons; Donta Freeman is avail as well, not sure about the lesser names...enlighten me with your sleeper choice DE-DL - disagree, here we are done and we are better, lots of solid talent and depth, expect better overall run defense from the interior, and better pressures from Addison off the edge compared to the guys that left, trust the process is in phase 3 or 4. plus I would rather save the draft assets and salary cap cash for extensions for Dawkins, Milano and Trey coming up.... -
Bills re-sign Isiah McKenzie
First Round Bust replied to WMDman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
didn't he also get some reps as a CB during the season stink-ale versus Jets ? -
I can see his agent negotiating a bonus clause for playoff games, fly patterns and jump balls; speaking of unbearable I watched a replay of the Houston playoff game this weekend on the NFLN and I can only hope that the entire offense esp the coaches were told to watch it 10x and had to submit a report on it.

How the Bills trade up in the 2020 draft
First Round Bust replied to maryland-bills-fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
sure if there is a guy with a first-round grade that falls near the pick in the second round - but the RBs aren't a hot FA commodity as a lot of vets are still available and likely are having the market set their price not vice vera...standing still in the second to pick a CB or OL over a RB makes sense to me; Singletary was a 3rd rounder so maybe that is where the value lies -
Interested in Carlos Hyde?
First Round Bust replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
