  1. Oh great! Now a new "Mad Human disease" will develop!
  2. I've never watched Hard Knocks before, but these 2 episodes are just Bills Hype videos on Valium.
  3. While that would be awesome, I know I'd miss the last 12 seconds. I'd be dead from panic!
  4. My thoughts exactly. I'm traveling to the Carolina game and probably overpaid for tickets. But I like the comfort of having the tickets before i get on a plane.
  5. Interesting analysis. It's almost like every team is playing checkers during the regular season, and when the playoffs hit, other teams are playing chess, and the Bills are still playing checkers.
  6. I've been a healthy scratch for as long as I can remember.
  7. Did you win the Lotto? Who can afford a new car these days?
  8. Okay. Not great.
  9. To me, our defense didn't look any bit different than last year. I know it's the first preseason game and we shouldn't make assessments based on one game. while I agree, there's still some of the same things we've all seen and discussed: soft cushions; can't get off the field on 3rd downs; can't get to the QB. I'm not getting ready to mash the panic button. But until I see hints of anything different, I'll be expecting a rinse and repeat defense this year.
  10. Looking forward to all NFL cameras this weekend zooming in to dudes cracking smelling salt tubes or packages before going out on the field.
  11. That's an odd choice of caps. Should have capitalized "not". Almost makes it intentionally confusing.
  12. Yes, but catching a python is much different than catching a frog.
  13. Official 1 to official 2: "Look at that guy over there; he's really alert, and breathing great! He must be on the Salts!"
  14. Ummm, how do you test for smelling salt abuse?
  15. .... Jim Kelly leading the way!
  16. Absolutely the right move. But while our defensive backfield has been rather tricky to navigate, I'm way more concerned about our LB depth.
  17. Yes, but the number 2 thing would make me want to pull over, make sure the kid is alive, then flip him off and say, "serves you right, jerk!" Then, casually get in my car and drive off.
  18. I kinda thought that too. But, like all shows, the first episode normally just develops the characters. Perhaps there'll be one of those 'mic-drop / cut-to-commercial' type scenes in episode 2. One thing notable to me was, how Josh refers to his receivers by their number and not name. For such a player/team type of guy, it seemed odd at first. But I really like it. It makes it more like business and not personal. And not the Cook version of business, the 'I'm at work conducting business' thing.
  19. So, your girlfriend shows up shortly after your wife? .......Awkward!
  20. I guess James Cook has decided that he's got no business practicing.
  21. I haven't heard the term "Postal" when referring to an actual P.O. employee in a long time. They must be taking care of their employees better and doing better psychological background checks. Or maybe it's because they don't have to deliver the phone books every year anymore.
  22. I have a fear that the main pieces of our O-line will be in and out of the line-up to some degree all year. We were lucky last year, I don't think that continues.
  23. Nothing good. They were an older couple, so lots of retiree membership stuff. On a separate note.....the amount of junk mail I get is staggering. I throw it all away, every last piece.
  24. When I moved into my current home, i continued to get mail from the previous owner and a few others that may have been previous owners as well. I would write "return to sender" with additional comments like "individual no longer resident." They would pick up the mail and then redeliver them a day or two later. I even put one of those new resident cards in the mailbox, but the mail continued. It was a lot. So I decided to save it all and after a few weeks, took a good sized box with all the mail to the post office. They collected it and thanked me for bringing it in. Two days later there was a post office tote with all the mail sitting in front of my door. I took the tote back which solved the current problem, but the mail continued. Now I just throw it away.
  25. That was actually a rule at the time if I remember correctly. Home teams were charged a timeout if visiting offenses couldn't hear the snap count. Not sure, but I also think they could assess penalties if it persisted after the timeout was charged.
