  1. It never ceases to amaze me how tragedy can strike in an instant.
  2. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/shedeur-sanders-incident-full-list-of-nfl-draft-prospects-who-received-prank-calls-as-league-investigates/ According to this article, there were a total of 7 prospects that got pranked. Bills draftee Chase Lundt was one of them.
  3. Agree. I picked LB as well. If Milano and Bernard are on the field, the Bills are fine. Depth is an issue. And that's one particular position the Bills need depth.
  4. One thing that jumps out at me; the early Thanksgiving game is always reserved for Detroit. Don't see the New York thing happening. Or am I missing something?
  5. This is where I'm at. Beane has been focusing on speed on the outside the last few years. While that's a good thing, they still need more balance. Next, I'd like to see a WR or even a LB. Whenever I look ahead to the season, I see Milano out for 6-8 games at various times. Unsustainable.
  6. "I just got done smoking 2 bowls of meth, snorted 3 lines of coke and drank 8 shots of Jim Beam. Got a question for you......"
  7. It's the Adam Shefter / Ian Rapoport syndrome. The first to report "BREAKING NEWS!"
  8. Dang, that sounds good! Not the x-rated thing. Well........maybe.
  9. It was a lot easier to avoid people when cell phones weren't a thing. I know that was a long time ago, but man, the freedom to say, "Sorry dude, I've been busy and haven't been home much the last 2 years.
  10. I was 3. Man, the beers tasted good that night. Whoo!
  11. Eggs, chocolate and pink rabbits. An 'Alice in Wonderland' kinda weird. And while it was nice getting a basket full of candy as a kid, all my chocolate Easter Bunnies were hollow! What a gyp!
  12. I just can't wrap my brain around James Cook with the nickname "Jimbo." Just doesn't fit with me.
  13. I wish I had known about this airport. I would have bought and renovated it to live in. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-33578949 Oh.....the possibilities!
  14. Does that include bored members?
  15. At least it has a pool. If I remember, the house he sold in Denver didn't have one.
  16. Completely agree. McDaniel is a good offensive strategist, but I don't think he can effectively motivate his players, especially when games are need late in the season. Much of the reason, they often collapse. The other issue with McDaniel is...he has a Tua problem. He has to design plays that protect Tua to the maximum extent possible. I believe the reason Tua got hurt against Hamlin, is he got brave. He went a full year without an injury, and then bam. It'll happen again. It's just a matter of time.
  17. I agree that it may be time to deviate from the consensus to catch a sleeper stud. Problem I see, it becomes a high-risk venture. Especially in later rounds. And if those become busts, the GM starts taking a ton of criticism. They proven they can get the average/above average players. Time to start seeing a couple of big stars on this roster.
  18. McDaniel should just go back to the "Best Buy Assistant Manager" look.
  19. I had no idea this topic would be so polarizing. I honestly thought most folks would be indifferent and the thread would die after about 4 replies.
  20. One thing I've noticed having grown up in the Norh East and now in Florida for several years, people cherish the summers up North because the season is so short. When you're out at a picnic, baseball or softball game, folks are out sitting in the sun soaking it up. In the South, most folks avoid the sun like vampires. Anyone working outside is completely covered head to toe. faces covered too. I see almost as many umbrellas on sunny days as I do on rainy days. Canopies are a must at afternoon little league games. Not saying one or the other is better. It's just the way it is with so much sun all year round in the South and so many overcast days in the North.
  21. An extra hour in the morning to sleep in if you wanted to watch the sunrise and an extra hour in the evening before the sunsets.
  22. https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5244405-trump-pushes-daylight-saving/ This is different than what a couple states do which is opt out of daylight savings time, which is allowed. But staying on daylights savings is federally prohibited. This is something Florida has been pushing for, for years. My guess is it's largely due to tourism. In the winter, if you want to grab dinner, have a drink and watch the sun set on the West coast, you have to get the Early Bird Special. At least this would give you an extra hour in morning on the East coast and an extra hour on the West coast in the evening.
  23. Some from my old neighborhood. A couple of folks I still keep in contact with. Ahh, the old neighborhood. When you're too young to buy beer there's pretty much just 2 ways to acquire it....have someone buy it for you, or well, you know. I'm not saying I was a perpetual criminal, but I may have fractured a law or two.
  24. Tyreek Hill......The offseason gift that keeps on giving.
