  1. I wanted Ravens to win today. They didn't. I think they're nearly cooked. Lamar's injury was either the coaches sitting him to save him, or him giving up. Either way, it just became a 2-horse race with the Chargers loss. So, McDermott's nemesis may come back to bite us again. And if that happens......well, it depends on how, but I'll be out on McD. They've been playing down to their opponents the last 2 weeks, it seems. Just too weak.
  2. I'd like to see the offense open up a bit. I understand a balanced offense approach, and Cook is tearing it up, but this offense lacks flare and creativity lately. Games we thought, and maybe should have been easy, haven't been.
  3. They definitely need to bring people in. The injury was to his non-kicking leg, so stability is an issue. Not that the kicking leg would change things, but planting to get leverage for the kick is huge.
  4. We know who the Super Bowl halftime show is.....yay
  5. It's been rough! Maybe when the suspensions get back, it'll add some additional options. Oliver back will help, but I'm not counting on Milano for any significant time for the rest of the season. He'll get back, but for how long? I'd just rather write him off at this point.
  6. I don't know about that, but every time Allen breaks off a huge run, I've learned to relax. That huge run followed by the Kincaid TD sealed it for me. I turned to a buddy and said 'the games over'. Whenever Allen busts a huge run, he is so dialed-in.
  7. Was he also reading from a teleprompter. He didn't look at the camera during the entire opening bit. It was slightly off to his right.
  8. Agreed. But I wouldn't do them for the first couple of weeks. Make sure no kinks pop-up. It would be really unfortunate if they started the broadcast with the crew complimenting the new stadium and all the power goes out. On second thought, I really don't care for all of the night commentators (except for Mike Tirico) so, maybe doesn't matter.
  9. When I was in my 20s, I took a buddy of mine to his first Bills game. He was not a big football fan, but watched some games on TV. He complained about not being able to follow the game because no play-by-play. I always took a walkman with me so I gave it to him to listen to Van Miller. He had it on the whole game and several games after that. Every game he announced "The lights are on at Rich Stadium." A staple of Van Miller's broadcast! (I hope I don't have to explain what a walkman is to a few here)
  10. Oh....now you did it. Here we go...........
  11. It's 33 miles. With no traffic, it's 38 minutes. Yes. More expensive, significantly less value, more cramped and not nearly as nice a neighborhood. I complain, but I don't really complain because I knew what I was getting in to. It was a tradeoff I was willing to make
  12. I don't remember that story. Maybe. But Benjamin was a big guy who just got lazy and stopped working. Running or jumping for a pass was just too much work I guess.
  13. What a self-righteous, condescending ***-****! “Because when you’re blinded by distrust, it’s hard to see anything other than self-interest. “People who are like that, particularly to a chronic, pathological degree, are telling on themselves. They’re showing you their worldview and how they operate. They’re admitting that they can only conceive of interests that are selfish; that they cannot imagine a person doing their job for reasons that are greater than themselves. (These kinds of people make horrible teammates, by the way.)” So basically, if you're critical of Brady's current situation, you are paranoid and selfish to a pathological degree. I kind of stopped hating Brady after he retired. Now I couldn't hate him more.
  14. I'm still waiting for the Kelvin Benjamin week. He was certainly legendary.
  15. Bills 31 Saints 27 Sweating a close one with a kneel down.
  16. Get back to me when you have an hour and 20 minute commute to work. J/K! That's a really bad day, and a bit scary. Hope your wife/boss is doing better. Probably being a little too obvious here, but I hope she's going to do a follow-up with the regular doc. May have been an isolated incident, but then again, some other underlying cause at play.
  17. Oh, the horrors letting a dog roam free. By the way, it's a little-known fact, if you tap a gumball machine and say, "TUSCARORA", you'll get a free gumball.
  18. I know what you mean. All I did was read the thread. Shortly after my phone rang, and on the other end I heard, "Seven days."
  19. I'm going with the Lions. Cleveland's defense is darn good. I just don't think the Browns can match them score for score. Lions are at home. I considered the Bills, but I just want to hold that card back. Wk 1: Broncos Wk 2: Dallas Wk 3: Bucs Wk 4: Lions
  20. They can't take chances. The finger gun can be very dangerous.....
  21. The article says cause of death unknown, but I read in another article it was suicide. It's sad people get to that place.
  22. Yes! I think they would have had a better chance with Dart on Sunday night. That game was there for the taking,
  23. I'm wondering where the Strong Safety went.
