Great. Don't let the NFL see this. It'll just get worse. I get that this is something that makes this guy happy, but it is a little creepy.

The obsession with turning Josh Allen into a pocket QB
Fleezoid replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the offensive play designs lack creativity. When Joe Brady took over, he balanced out the offense, but there were still some dynamic play designs included. It just looks bland now. I haven't seen a whole lot of adjustments in-game the past 2 weeks either. I would like to see some more RPOs, but I feel there would be no O in that, and the play would just get blown up. They have 1-1/2 weeks to install a whole new offense. Put the coffee on and get to work. I dunno. That's all I got. -

Former Jet Nick Mangold needs a kidney transplant

How's Fireman Ed's kidneys? These things suck. Hope it works out and he's able to come out of this. -
Would you want to see Josh play hardball with the organization?

Josh: "I'm sorry, I don't play baseball now. My training is in football." -
Can everyone just take a freakin breath?

Two things about that video: 1. Jay should tell that dude freaking out to shut the **** up! 2. I would not want to be with that dude in a crisis. You know he's the one that'll be like... -
Did we already miss the window with Josh

Thanks. And I agree. If Pegula makes some changes, let's see where that goes. I'd love for Allen to win one with the Bills. Buffalo absolutely deserves one. But I think about Jim Kelly and Dan Marino, and while I dislike the Dolphins, after Marino retired I felt bad for him having not won one. Same for Kelly for obvious reasons. This team is broken in so many ways that it seems like the annual rinse-and-repeat simply won't change. -
But they fixed the defensive line to get to the quarterback....right?....... Maybe?

I was on the fence at the beginning of the year. The last 2 games, and the realization that the Bills have only beat horrible teams, has pushed me over the edge.

Did we already miss the window with Josh
Fleezoid replied to BritishBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
It does start there. But I'm equally frustrated with the coordinators. We have a defense that is sloppy and unprepared and an offense that is so benign now that a big play is an 8 yard Cook run. I know we have an overall mediocre receiver crew, but there has to be more than what we saw last night. -

I'm going to get crushed for the following comments, and it's because I feel bad for Allen getting stuck in a going-nowhere franchise, but here it is.... I honestly hope he goes to a franchise that has the capability to win a Super Bowl. He's given this team a ton and I don't want to see him end his career without winning one. I would hate for him to have a Marino career, or worse, having never been to a championship game. It just doesn't look like it'll ever happen for Buffalo. This franchise is stuck in neutral. Or more appropriately, the transmission is shot. I don't know what can possibly change, but the coaching staff is mostly inept from top to bottom. -
The first Bills game I went to was free. I was in my early teens and my friends grandfather ran one of the concessions. He got me to go with them to help out. We got there early, just his grandfather me and my friend. We went to the on-sight commissary to pick up some extra supplies, then walked to the concession stand. I was carrying bags of hot dog rolls and as we were walking through the concourse, I just had to run down one of the tunnels and look at the field. I was getting yelled at but just stood there. What a feeling. Years later I still got that same feeling.

Monday will be like a fun movie fest! We'll have the comedy of the Sabres game, the drama of a McDaniel firing....and the Bills game with a suspense of a possible defensive letdown. Good times.

I have a coworker whose solution to every problem is fire. I'm okay with it if someone can make that happen.

SNF: Detroit @ Kansas City (no Bills stuff in this thread please)
Fleezoid replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good rundown. Kinda like Chris Bermans fastest 3 minutes of football. It looks hopeful, but we still have the same defense in a season where a complete team can rip the heart out of a very weak AFC. Yet I fear it will come down to the last couple of games. -

I guess I agree for tonight. But that's not the case for most games. a random jersey grab gets a flag most of the time. -

If you're referring to the complaints by no Chiefs calls, call the same stuff they call against every other team. I saw jersey grabs by Chiefs offensive linemen twice. The chiefs were throwing the ball fast, but it doesn't excuse a penalty. -

On Monday night football decades ago, Joe Theismann used to say on a weekly basis something to the effect like, "I think it's a good time for team x to take a shot down the field." He would say it almost every Monday night. I said this about Detroit about 3 or 4 times tonight. they never did. Everything underneath and the Chiefs just kept stacking the box. I saw the Chiefs in 1-deep safety twice. Horrible game plan by the Lions!
