New coaches added this year - any impact?
Fleezoid replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Prater's been solid. But it sure looks like the STs have improved from the past couple of years, so those moves looked to be positive. I don't see how you can say the defensive guys have had an impact. Based on results, you probably can't say positive impacts, but I wouldn't say negative either. The defense is a little too messy to say. -
They should just make this format the Pro Bowl....

Time to just dump the "Pro Bowl". It's not even a thing anymore.

Bills’ greatest needs heading into the trade deadline?
Fleezoid replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why is it, every year during the last few, we have the same needs at about the halfway point; WR and DB? Whether it's injuries or lack of production. They're needs every season. -

The Refs and this “rigged” league UPDATED 12/7 end of Raiders game

On the flip side, people keep saying Santa Claus isn't real. That's not possible. I still get presents every year. He has to be real. -
OCTOBER 19: Around the NFL, Week 7

Well, I've seen stuff like that not called a lot!! It was the timing of the flag that caught my attention. -

Yep. I checked in here for that very issue. They didn't throw the illegal contact flag in the endzone until after the pass was broken up. This is ridiculous. Even after the whole country knows the Chiefs are constantly gifted plays, they just keep doing it. The NFL giving the finger to the rest of the league. -

it really looked like that last PI on Adams in the endzone was in case he didn't catch it. That was ticky-tack. The longer this game goes, the worse it gets. If I was a Jags fan, I'd be p.o'd. -

Sure looks like the refs are leaning in on the Rams this week. A couple of those flags were somewhat to very questionable. -

The Athletic - some grim stats (new Tim Graham piece)
Fleezoid replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
That piece already has an impact on my life. From now on, I'm going to use "diddly-poo" at least a couple times a day. I'm going to interject it into as my conversations as possible. -

Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?
Fleezoid replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Brandon Beane and staff might be a lot like TBD. They'll throw darts at every receiver to see which one doesn't say 'ouch'! The ones they've picked up in the recent past have been more or less middling choices. -
The inconsistency with how the illegal contact is called is dumb. I think it's another arbitrary tool the refs can use to nudge the game their way. That and defensive holding should not be automatic first downs. One word.....sunglasses.

Hire Ryan Fitzpatrick as a part time consultant
Fleezoid replied to Figster's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not a good idea. Because you always get a little Fitztragic mixed in with the Fitzmagic. -
Great. Don't let the NFL see this. It'll just get worse. I get that this is something that makes this guy happy, but it is a little creepy.

The obsession with turning Josh Allen into a pocket QB
Fleezoid replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the offensive play designs lack creativity. When Joe Brady took over, he balanced out the offense, but there were still some dynamic play designs included. It just looks bland now. I haven't seen a whole lot of adjustments in-game the past 2 weeks either. I would like to see some more RPOs, but I feel there would be no O in that, and the play would just get blown up. They have 1-1/2 weeks to install a whole new offense. Put the coffee on and get to work. I dunno. That's all I got. -
