  1. This is kinda where I'm at. What is concerning is a loss may have huge implications with seeding at the end of the year. The margin is razor thin for the 1-seed and while there's plenty of football after week 1, you'd hate to be saying "if we only had that first game back!"
  2. 89. Now I'm even more miserable. I really thought I'd get in the 90s, which is where I feel like I should be.
  3. I think our practice squad should consist of a couple of OL and rest DBs.
  4. It's been a coin flip the last few years. There's been a few duds to start the season. I have a gut feeling this will be one of them.
  5. Nothing was capitalized, so I don't believe it.
  6. I think it was someone from the Browns organization. Because he couldn't hit the target.
  7. It's pronounced "strumpets."
  8. Cool family, but the kid is gonna be broke in about 3 months. The whole show was about shopping for shoes and Adidas gear.
  9. I'm a little worried that in years to come, Dalton Kincaid is going to go into that weird Aaron Rodgers metaphysical, self-awareness phase. When Dawkins pointed to the hawk flying overhead saying, "look at that bird", and Kincaid responds saying, "yeah, I wish that were me!", I was thinking WTF. Is he the flying version of Mr. Limpet?
  10. IMO, all they need is Schwartz and I'm seeing Super Bowl. Right now, I'm doubtful.
  11. Maple syrup is like ketchup. You can put it on everything!
  12. I agree. They'd be nuts if they don't do it. A patchwork secondary with Hamlin getting significant playing time is not the answer.
  13. I was in my teens in the 70s. Had a friend who became a Buccaneers fan as soon as they got in the league. It was clear to me it was just to be different. It didn't help the Bills were mediocre at best. But the Buccaneers were worse.
  14. Every time the toilet flushes. Keeps it from freezing too.
  15. Bills have a receiver and safety problem. Two position groups they're grasping at straws to try and figure out.
  16. I agree with this. But I'd like to add one caveat......Allen is still great without Diggs, I don't think Diggs will be great without Allen. Good, just not great.
  17. I don't understand the "visit" part of this. Does he sit down with Beane and McD and they ask him, "so, tell us a little about yourself."
  18. So, apparently the Bengals will likely want an "impact" player or 2 in a trade. Well, now I know why the Bills aren't in the conversation....they have no impact player they could give up.
  19. If you had a gun, you should have shot the guy that did the stabbing. That would have been a great punchline.
  20. Yes!! That, and Extra Stock. We used to go to Canada to get beer all the time.
  21. I don't know, but I think I can make a run at that breakfast! By far, my favorite meal choice.
  22. I've been completely on the fence with respect to McDermott. I've thought, at least he has this team competitive every year. At the same time, I can also see the criticism about the lack of playoff success. And I've always been critical of his soft defensive stance. But after last night, and I know it's just preseason, but I'm absolutely leaning toward McDermott's defensive philosophy is not getting it done. They can't keep letting teams stay on the field and burn clock.
  23. I will accept that to a certain degree. But there are guys trying to make the team. And to come out that flat from start to finish?......They weren't prepared to play. The Bears were. McDermott got schooled on how to prepare a team.
