  1. I'm in this camp. It feels real good right now, but that was true during first half of last season. Then we got to the Packers game and things started to unravel string by sting, very slowly. The Bills mojo was leaking and then all those strange obstacles started. By the time we got to the playoffs, the mojo had drained out.
  2. I liked Johnny Carson, but David Letterman was my favorite. He did some stupid, wacky arse stuff. After many years, got a little stale, but early on, that was some funny crap!
  3. I would thought, and actually hoped, they would have traveled early. Today perhaps. Have practices in London and a couple of more days to acclimate.
  4. Godzilla is rampaging New Jersey, And they're all putting on their best leather jackets and saying, taking me, I'm yoze.
  5. I really like Daboll, but maybe last year was a flash in the pan. Jones never deserved the money he got. And the first half they had Jones throwing a bunch of short sideline passes that the Seattle defense started feasting on. They should have had a pick. Even if Barkley was healthy, I think they would have still taken a big step back. It's Jones.
  6. I'm watching the Manning cast because they're good. But more importantly I can't stand Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. My takeaway from this game is that Peyton has an awesome Man Cave/Bar. (I wish I had money 😞)
  7. Didn't see a MNF Week 4 thread and I don't want to start one, but I'm starting to think that just before Joe Buck and Troy Aikman went on the air for the first time, Aikman caught Buck in the Men's room and grabbed him by the coat lapels and said, "I'm a G**D*** Hall of Famer. I don't care what you say during the broadcasts, but you dam well better mention me as Hall of Famer at the start of every broadcast." (edited for wording)
  8. In an upcoming game, I would love to see a DB break up a pass to Chase, turn to him and say, 'Man, I'm sorry, I forgot you were open'.
  9. To add to your coaching comment; with salaries off the charts, the pressure of winning goes along with it. I think that has created a culture of plug and play with all the player movement. Constant releases, free agent signings and trades have chipped away at continuity. Coaches think if they can bring in handful top shelf players with 1 or 2 studs, it'll be instant success. It happens, but more often than not, it turns out the whole is less than the sum of all it's parts.
  10. We're in a bad place when the most popular person in the NFL is Taylor Swift.
  11. Let's face it, if we had a choice as to which game Wilson plays good against any team post Rodgers, it'd be the Chiefs! Jets aren't going anywhere, but if they can beat the Chiefs., I'm in.
  12. Can someone start the Bills/Jaguars pregame thread. I am absolutely giddy that I'll be drinking beer at 8:00 am and I don't have to hide it.
  13. She's there with her entourage. Or did I just get suckered in to sarcasm?
  14. I thought I'd be sleeping by now. I give the Jets props for that.
  15. Maybe, but I was more thinking Tyreek Hill's inspiration to go the porn star route might have been inspired by the Rodgers' stache!
  16. Wow, the Jets vaunted defense is taking it to the Chiefs. .....Wait, .....am I watching in an alternate universe?
  17. Wow, I spelled educated wrong. Everything I typed after that is suspect.
  18. I get it. It's a problem when media personnel who are supposed to be well edjucated and are put in a high profile position to ask questions of a high profile athlete and they look foolish. On a similar, but unrelated note, I love Paul Hamilton. Very insightful, and does radio interviews very well. But his articles are hard to read. The content is good, but how it's presented is not good. It's choppy and has zero flare.
  19. Yeah, but when Trevor Lawrence throws for 4 TDs in week 7, (not next week), he'll be the MVP candidate.
  20. I'm in Tampa and I listen to WGR on my commutes. I get it, some of these reporters are just asking questions everyone knows they should ask. Probably get lazy how they word it. But what bothers me more is, when I listen to WGR online, sometimes they rebroadcast interviews on Shopp an the Bulldog. I hate it, because i can only hear the answers. I hear, "blah, blah, blah, yada, yada yada....", and then "Yes, he's good!" Comedian Brian Regan did a bit on that. I can't find a clip, but it's spot on.
