  1. Might also have to do with the fact that defensive players are always reacting which might put more strain on joints and muscles.
  2. I don't know if that's ever been a concern. Of course this was before ABC and ESPN were joined at the hips...
  3. After I read that, I passed out.
  4. She was one of the few reasons I tuned in to NFL Sunday Countdown.
  5. Is there anyone in the room?
  6. The last few days feels like......
  7. Time to stop messing around and fix him up the right way.
  8. Why do I get the feeling this thread is starting lose it's luster?
  9. Wide Receivers gathering outside One Bills Drive....
  10. Funny you say that, but that's exactly my target temp. It usually gets to between 87-88. Perfect. I'm usually in the pool for an hour or more, so warmer is better. When I first got the house 82-84 was ok. Then 86. Now I'm where I'm at.
  11. I think some of the good people I work with won't be a bit surprised. On a slightly, but not quite similar note...years ago when I was still in the military, I had a small number of guys that worked for me. At some point, they started calling me Peter. I had no idea why. I hadn't seen the movie Office Space at the time and My bosses were jerks. After some time, they eventually explained that they thought I was going to snap and turn into Peter. Thinking back, I wish I had.
  12. I've always wanted a pool. I live in Florida and always dreamed of floating around on a Sunday afternoon watching football. Several years ago I made that happen. Pool, Hot tub and heater of course. I too have a DE filter, with chlorine system, which is fine. I had no idea what I was doing when I first got the house, so I hired a pool guy. I quickly learned most of them do a crappy job. So I learned how to do that stuff myself. It's not that tough and I know it's done right. But man, have I gotten spoiled. I'll actually turn on the heater for 30 minutes or so just to crank up the temp by about 2 degrees.
  13. I decided, when I retire, which is not too far off, I'm going to give my work 10-minute notice. I believe that is bad, and, well....so!
  14. Thank God they apologized! I guess we're good.
  15. Jets Mark Gastineau. That ridiculous celebration dance.
  16. Looks like we have to resurrect the Bills mantra from the drought years......'there's always next year'!
  17. This should be the new helmet. The actual horns would really give it that extra pizzaz.
  18. I like it because I don't pay for any cable or any streaming services and I can get the NFL Network on Sunday mornings. Aside from Michael Irvin's Dallas rants, I prefer NFL Gameday over ESPN's Sunday Countdown.
  19. Put these 2 together and I think you're on to something.
  20. The study in the first link is a little old. Which made me think the technology has solved this. But then I found the article in the 2nd link. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/261043966_Can_facial_cosmetics_affect_the_matching_accuracy_of_face_recognition_systems This one observation stood out to me "The impact due to the application of eye makeup is indicated to be the most pronounced. Individuals at- tempting to obfuscate (i.e., camouflage) their identity from a face recognition system may be able to do so by incorporating non-permanent cosmetic alterations to their ocular region. Since makeup is a socially ac- ceptable cosmetic modification in most societies, these results indicate the possibility of compromising the se- curity of a face or periocular biometric system" https://www.vice.com/en/article/k78v9m/researchers-defeated-advanced-facial-recognition-tech-using-makeup There needs to be more face painting stands advertised accordingly.
  21. So they can create an AI for televised games in Jacksonville.
