  1. Is it wrong to want to finish out the day with a big tub-O-goo 1-tech DT?
  2. Separation is more important than size, but for a 5th round guy who will get a year of NFL coaching before being asked to do much...I'm ok with this.
  3. This is where I want high RAS guys who need to be taught some football. Please, no Luke Tenutas.
  4. Show me a better OL and I'll buy in.
  5. The "win now at any cost" path can cause a team to sign expensive free agents and trade draft picks away while not continually feeding the young (and affordable) talent pipeline. Leads to a forced rebuild. I'll take a year or two of sub-prime Kincaid if it helps the team stay viable during the Allen era. If he doesn't contribute this year it's on Dorsey or the quality of the OL.
  6. IMO, Kincaid sees more snaps if our OL is better. If not, Knox plays the 1 TE sets for protection.
  7. What do the Bills do if Diggs misses games? Do they have an answer? If not, then Hopkins is still in play. We're hugely reliant on Diggs.
  8. Beane faced a run on WRs. Managed to get a guy for the offense. It's ok, but Dorsey is really going to have to evolve.
  9. Beane can't help himself. He's just GOT to trade up to get a player they will struggle to use. Meh... Not excited.
  10. IOL and WR for 2 of the top 3 picks.
  11. Monitoring TBD reactions and Cover 1 coverage.
  12. Beane will trade up in the 1st not wanting to miss out on "his" player.
  13. Better O-line = More time to let downfield patterns to develop = More Diggs catches (?)
  14. "......because sooner or later some defender is going to put his helmet on my knee when I leap over them. That and knowing that it's OK to throw the shorter 9-yard completion on 3rd and 8 is OK too. Lastly, I have to add that I'm not going to spend my career running around making out-of-structure plays as I escape a pass rush because the coach and GM undervalue OL and some of the guys we have can't sustain a 2 second block. "
  15. Fair point! Still hoping for a better OL with less total reliance on Josh improvisation and greater usage of Knox/Brown. Call me selfish.
  16. ...and thereby reinforcing the practice such that a meaningful change to a more O-line dominant offense becomes psychologically difficult. Fans accept this because Josh makes exciting improvisational out-of-structure plays rather than boring and incremental in-structure plays that have worked for Brady and Mahomes. The Bills seem to know exactly who they are on defense and aren't afraid to commit resources there. The offensive identify on the other hand, is less well-defined. Even when we pay Knox and draft Cook, we don't really use them. There isn't the commensurate increase in production - especially short passing yardage and RAC. Would more free-agent money change this? I'm looking for Dorsey to make strides in year 2. Same time, Beane and McDermott can't make OL an afterthought.
  17. If you've filled every obvious hole prior to the draft, you can claim you went BPA even if you cheated a few spots on your own board. We'll never know.
  18. Allen busy transferring all assets to his mother's name before getting married.
