NFL Trade Deadline: The Bills Trade Rumors Thread
Buffalo Junction replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Rams depth issue showed up last year in the playoffs when they got sent home in GB…. Not that replacing Donald is really an easy proposition, but having multiple guys on the D line to cover for one going down helps. The same issue could pop up again with a Ramsey or Donald injury even though the Miller trade will insure they have two pass rushers. -

NFL Trade Deadline: The Bills Trade Rumors Thread

Let’s also remember that players tend to get released after their teams can’t find trade partners. Beane might find some talent there -
Responding after 6 mo…. but, for that country sweet crisp…. Toss those bad boys in corn starch and brush off all the excess before frying. Also…. The history between Boss sauce and Country sweet sauce is an entertaining read.

Lower end of Top 10, and could use another playmaker. That said, when the other team becomes one dimensional they seem to flourish more than some other teams defenses with more “top end” talent. For that reason improving the offensive consistency by the playoffs might be a deciding factor with regards to how this season ends.

Titans loss best thing for Seeding
Buffalo Junction replied to Kingston Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Titans look good ATM with everyone healthy. However, they are not insulated against skill position injury. An injury to Henry, Brown, or Jones and that offense comes back down to earth rather quickly. The first part of their season showed this. Factor in Jones’ injury history, and it’s unlikely that they stay at the level they’re currently at for the entirety of the season. We’ll see how it plays out over the next few months. -

Should NFL refs start being suspended for idiotic calls?
Buffalo Junction replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
There are potentially billions in gambling revenue at stake. If that is put into contention then the owners will be forced to consider options for improvement. -
Should NFL refs start being suspended for idiotic calls?
Buffalo Junction replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
Eventually a notable player or coach will eat the fine and say something along the line of “IDK. Maybe the refs bet on the game.” That’ll cause a total ***** show which might result in a sky judge. Until then…. It is what it is. -
So many of those better NFC teams are stacked with aging vets and lack depth due to roster construction. A few injuries could derail most of them. Just look at the Rams and Packers last year with Donald and Bakhtiari. By contrast most of the top AFC teams appear to have better depth and/ fewer injury prone guys at critical positions. Going to be interesting to see how this plays out over a 17 game season.

The Bills Offense Evolution is Paying Off In Spades
Buffalo Junction replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
It allows Morse to assist either guard based on matchups and play call as opposed to constantly helping an overmatched Ford. It makes the combination blocks more effective and unpredictable which helps the big boys get to the second level. -
Folks need to stop viewing Gilliam as a TE. The guy is a 6 foot flat, 245 pound FB/H-back that can be moved around to create a numbers advantage in the running/screen game. He’s here to block and play special teams, not catch passes. Now, I’m sure he’ll have a few pass catching opportunities on big downs in his career, but it’ll be a surprise to everyone just like it was when Daboll would draw up a play for Lee Smith.

Both of these guys (Epenesa too) are shrinking the zones for the other players on defense. It’s a part of how the pass defense looks improved without changing the scheme or secondary players. I’m not going to be surprised at all if there ends up being a pick six from a DB or LBer when a QB tries to float one over Groot or Epenesa.
