  1. Immediately! Throw your Microsoft-based machine in the trash. And then run out and buy an Apple computer. Your problems will be solved forever.
  2. Not at all. I wonder how people feel about sports gambling, which you can't get away from now. For me, sports gambling is not "sports." It's a sub-topic, and related to sports, but something different. When media outlets combine the two I hate it; gambling should be for gambling threads, gambling shows, gambling radio shows, etc. It's similar to sports memorabilia and collecting. That's also related to sports, but an entirely separate genre as well...and I have zero interest in that too.
  3. Fix the title you slacker.
  4. There are all sorts of guys they can replace him with. You don't have to believe me, just wait a while. Our defense will miraculously look about the same with someone else in Edmunds' place.
  5. He can buy plenty with the cash he'll get in Houston. It's always all about the money with these guys, and it should be.
  6. Yep, and yet look at the reactions people give you. LOL We straight up got our butts kicked up an down the lineup on both sides of the ball and were thoroughly out-schemed and out-coached in the game. Other than that, we almost had 'em!
  7. Some people have figured out the crap shoot aspect for a LONG time. This is why, for example, you NEVER trade up for fewer picks....you trade DOWN for MORE picks...because more throws at the dartboard is better than fewer. It's also why "depth charts" going into draft day are meaningless. The guy who is widely perceived to be the 13th best pick is NOT the 13th best pick. So there is not necessarily value associated with getting him at 27. Maybe he's actually the 45th best player.... You can't trust rankings and grades.
  8. Looks like the Band-Aid is being prepared to slap on the offensive line against next year! Not a good sign. This guy is barely replacement level.
  9. And look at the number of career years we are having, to boot! All being flushed down the toilet. It's time for Granato to show me he can get team defensive structure worked out. It's atrocious. We give up MANY 2-0, 3-1, and breakaways per game, sometimes per period. This team will never go anywhere playing like that. We need a real #1 goalie starting for this team next year, not named LEVI, and we need to start playing responsible team defense. A pair of solid defensive defensemen wouldn't hurt, either. What bothers me about this stretch is that we have straight up QUIT in these games, at least at times. That's when the opposition score 3 in 90 seconds. It's been pretty ugly at times!
  10. What would TSW be without a chicken wing thread once a week? I swear to God people who actually live in Buffalo aren't this obsessed with chicken wings.
  11. It's really not that complicated!
  12. Plan: Draft DT with first pick in draft.
  13. For some reason, fans of the sport seem to think Goodell works for THEM. He doesn't. He works for the owners as you state. And by that standard, he's doing a fine job. If players are making up to $50 million a year, you know the people that own the league and control it are making a hell of a lot more than that!
  14. This far into the list and no one has mentioned Billie Holiday? Nina Simone? Etta James? Marlene Dietrich? How about Hildegard Knef, who is incredible! Talk about recency bias! You guys are all swimming in very shallow musical waters.
  15. Couldn't we all just wait to see what the team actually does? And then discuss those picks? You know the ones that were actually made?
  16. There are a ton of them, but this guy is my "favorite." All he does is shout monosyllabic guttural sounds at the camera at full volume, as his only method of communication. He's sort of the poster boy of why I literally avoid any and ALL of this sort of broadcasting. Pre-game crap, post-game crap half-time crap... FF is a wonderful thing!
  17. This is basically a done deal. Rodgers to the Jets next season...which is going to make our division that much tougher. Now it's a waiting game. It's simply a question of how much GB can squeeze out of the Jets...but they don't have a ton of leverage as the deal is sort of now done. They'll string it out as far as they can and maybe turn it into a hostile situation at the end...I still think it will happen in the end.
  18. Absolutely. And the rich will get richer, and we will soldier on trying to turn ground chuck into filet mignon.
  19. Thank you. I like the people who respond negatively to you or do the "Eye roll" thing. Real winners, all.
  20. First, it's *EFFECT* on how we view the team.... You overlook the fact that it was NOT one game. It was the one game we all saw coming for 2 months. A lot of us could see we would fall far short of winning a SB, when we ran into a good team in the playoffs and got our heads handed to us...b/c we had been playing sloppy, poor, disjointed football for like 8 or 9 consecutive games at that point. It wasn't a one punch KO! That game was simply the coup de grace after 2 months of slowly being beaten down.
  21. I'm glad to see we are still in the conversation. But watch this guy go to Jets or Chiefs! I don't like the idea of OBJ and Rodgers playing for the Jets.
  22. Last night wasn't about coaching FFS. We were just totally flat and played a terrible game as a unit for 60 minutes. You see a lot of that sort of thing all around the league from time to time. I personally think it's a function of the crazy, old fashioned approach the league has to scheduling, with everyone pursuing wildly different schedules all the time. I've wanted to see a uniform playing schedule for years. I think the quality of play would improve dramatically if they could figure out a way to get that done. Anyway, it was a tough game to watch and take at this point. This whole thing has probably been over for a few weeks now and it's that much worse after last night. At this point, I'm looking forward to seeing Levi in a Sabres sweater. Everyone says he's not close to ready for the NHL level, but let's see what he looks like. And it's still not too late to focus on getting that 10th and final draft lottery spot!
  23. Judging how the current administration values the TE position by what other people have done for 20 years is foolish and irrelevant. Actually, Beane has shown he values the position rather highly; look at the K he gave to Knox. The position was underused last year, but that's probably mostly on Dorsey. Anyway, we aren't drafting a TE early, or probably late for that matter.
  24. Double News Flash: Beane hasn't gotten it all right, not even close. And that's why we have regressed the last 2 consecutive seasons and still failed to make a SB appearance in Josh's career sweet spot. To date, these guys HAVE decided our OL is good enough, but that's been wrong. If they slap a few band aids on it again, we'll be in trouble. By the way, in our last game of the season, the one that mattered most, our OL got its ass handed to them by a team that would go on to lose the AFC Championship game. Don't measure Bills success when we beat up on a 5 win team in October. Measure it by what we do in the post season. Our record there is shaky at best, for a team that is expected to WIN THE SUPER BOWL.
