  1. This is the first time in at least 10 years that I feel "good" about the general state of things heading into the off-season, and like we are some kind of a solid path moving forward. LOL. No joke!
  2. Ridiculous take. Wasting time arguing with people who think BB is a terrible coach is like arguing with someone who is dead convinced the sky is green, or that the world is going to end next Wednesday, but he happens to know now.
  3. NO! Never trade up! WE LOVE TO DO DUMB STUFF LIKE THIS.
  4. Would love for us to trade down and grab extra picks in this manner!
  5. I have listened to this album like 10,000 times. It's one of my favorite albums of all time, and has to be one of the greatest live recordings of all time. The album's rendition of "My Generation" is freaking incredible....and over 14 MINUTES LONG! Just awesome!
  6. You mean Sorrentino's. I know Kevin and the family well. They'll take good care of you there.
  7. I like to think Beane is too smart to take a RB in the first round, but look at what this regime has done with picks like DT in the first... So you never know. Fingers crossed.
  8. I wish we had an "Around the NFL" section for threads of this type that I could more easily ignore.
  9. I have no clue what anyone is talking about in this thread! Don't know the person, any of the terms, what the debate is about, and more! LOL
  10. Great post! I agree with pretty much everything you said. I feel like Edmunds could be involved in a trade, but I don't see him bringing anything more than a 3rd as well. I also agree his problem isn't "lack of motivation." I don't think money will solve his problems. I think he's giving it his best and trying his hardest now.
  11. I'd be surprised. Buffalo will always be a tiny market and that's what dictates these types of big national time slots, not small stories like what free agent did we acquire. Sure, being good and expected to be good helps! And I'm not saying this won't happen--just that I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't.
  12. Other: Richie Incognito, though I have no idea what his current mental state is, or how much he has left in the tank at age 38.
  13. Really glad and relieved to hear this news. I've been on pins and needles about this since February.
  14. I have a source down in Dunkirk who knows some high ups in the organization. For what it's worth, he tells me that it's highly likely we WILL play the Jets twice this season.
  15. I voted Maybin, but Sammy Watkins deserves consideration. He wasn't a "bust" per se, but when you evaluate what we gave up to get him, where we took him in the draft, and what he contributed to the team in his career as a Bill, he was one of the biggest "draft miscalculations" in modern Bills history.
  16. Wow! I am lucky enough to say that I am just old enough to have vague memories of Guy Lafleur flying down the wing with his hair blowing in the wind! When he was still something special and not yet over the hill. One of the all time greats. Man, did I hate the Habs back in those days! Always had huge respect for their teams and players though. This is a great photo!
  17. Here's a photo from July, 2018.
  18. So far it looks like Von Miller's ex-girlfriend is not impressed with Von Miller.
  19. Please note: this thread does not concern former MLB reliever Dan Quisenberry.
  20. This utterly destroys the whole fun of SNF for me; I'm not a fan of Tirico--he's incredibly boring, and I can't take much more of CC. Al Michaels is by far the best thing in NFL broadcasting now, but he's at Amazon and I'm not paying $$ to watch football games. Kirk Herbstreit sucks anyway... It's to the point where the only NFL broadcast experience I can get into is Nantz and Romo, and that's about 96% Romo and 4% Nantz. BTW: Joe Buck signed a 5 year $75 million K, if you can possibly believe that. Aikman (who is terrible) actually makes more! I've said this for quite a few years now, but the TV broadcasting quality of the NFL has never been worse.
  21. Lifelong Red Sox fan here. It's not that big a deal.
  22. I'm re-watching Season 5 in full, then rolling into the new stuff. I'm surprised how much stuff I remember, but also surprised at how much stuff I do NOT REMEMBER! I think we've now rewatched the first 4 episodes.
  23. All good references! I have another for you that belongs in this category. "Arm talent" for a QB. 10 years ago absolutely NO ONE was using that term. Now everyone and his cousin throws this out there b/c it sounds sort of intelligent. If he's a QB, and he's talented, he probably has arm talent. Isn't this term redundant?
