  1. make sure the rest of that team is clean. they could crush our season by infecting a bunch of our starters.
  2. Hmm.... timing and number , plus McD saying Beasley is "week to week" tells me Beasley injury is more significant than less.
  3. I don't know, other than the Steelers, they haven't played a loaded team since the KC game. We shall see. If Phins get solid QB play Sunday, that will be a test.
  4. no problem with it. in fact would be cool to see comeback player of the year Alex Smith QB a home playoff game. So impressed with his whole story.
  5. Bills need the game as well. Should be a good one. Seems like the weather will be decent (unfortunately).
  6. Agreed. The moon and stars have definitely lined up this year. Go take it while its there for the taking! Titans are banged up now, KC coming back to earth (?), Pitt looks average, lets go take the conference. Saints/Packers super scary with HOF QBs but lets leave that for later!
  7. Let him grow. Just like they did with Josh. He'll be better next year after a full camp, etc. Year 3 should be good. Bills will be losing a bunch to FA next year with the low salary cap and will need to reload elsewhere.
  8. Unless what happened to the 49ers happens to the Bills. I get that this is a fan board and everyone's excited (including me) but rashes of IR injuries to key, high cap hit players end seasons, that's a fact. The 9ers proved that this year. And you'll all be calling for McBeanes heads if it does, which would be insane, but again, this is a fan board. If the Bills stay healthy, I am with you 100%. But we know what this team looks like when just a few guys are down (eg. Josh, Milano, etc for the KC and Titans games) combined with some adversity (Covid stuff). What if Josh/Milano/Hughes/Poyer are down for the season, as JimmyG/Bosa/Thomas/Ford were for the 49ers this year??? Everything changes, as they are not replaceable in the short term. Just sayin', all the hoopla about the Bills future is under the assumption they have their roster for most of the season. And the massive $$ Pegulas put into the fitness facilities along with McBeanes refusal to rush guys back from injury (etc. Milano) I believe are helpful in this. Go Bills. Just enjoy it. I am. Leave the future in the future.
  9. Bills probably have the biggest guns in the NFL. Josh the biggest arm and Bass and Bojo with the biggest legs. Things really looking good for the future. If the offense wasn't so productive, I could see Bass with 10+ 50+ yarders in a season; his 50 yarders are good from 60+.. all of them. Bojo just kicks it out of the stadium. Really good news here. Again, its all about McBeanes constantly finding and signing the right kind of high character talent (the Process) and coaching it up. They stole Bojo from the Pats on waivers and had the scouting chops to find/draft Bass and move on to him (and stick with him, just like they stuck with Josh).
  10. We'll see. When the Pats' 8 (eight!) Covid op-outs and Gilmore are back and they get a competent QB (they have tons of cap space), they'll be a very competitive team next year. The Bills and strong to be sure, but we beat the Pats twice, Seattle, San Fran and others when they were really beat up by major injury/Covid problems. Bills play KC, Pittsburg and Titans AGAIN next year (along with Brady/Bucs) ; every year and every game will be a battle . Who knows, Bills could have a bunch of guys go down for the season like what happened to the 49ers this year; then the whole conversation changes. Enjoy it now while things are working in the Bills direction. The 9ers fans thought they'd be awesome the next (this year) as well. We see how that worked out. Go Bills. Trust the Process.
  11. Won't be as funny and attractive as soon as someone is paralyzed after doing it.
  12. After SB last year and 14-1 so far this year, the QB of that team in a passing league is going to win the MVP this year. Case closed.
  13. I wonder who his agent is. Never know. The wrong agent could try to get him to go to a big media market where the non football $$ is big. Just sayin. Seems that JA is not the kind to let the agent tell him what is good for him, but the kid is what, 24, 25 and knows nothing of how the business of the NFL works. Which agent was it who pulled a big name out of WNY a few years ago?? can't remember
  14. D Hop is an amazing talent. Watch the film. Really a super talent. Bill O'Brien really screwed the Texans over in so many ways.
  15. not a media analyst, but a 48 in a tiny market is a pretty ho hum event in the media world. a more interesting number would have been the national number-- that would tell you if Goodell should pay attention
  16. hmmm.... Jets have franchise LT.. check. #1 WR... check. a few other pieces. Not sure they will be sucking forever. You do not want Lawrence in there.
  17. gonna but tough to keep Mata and Holmes AND sign Milano, Williams etc.. gonna be an interesting off season
  18. I think Fromm is the guy. Cap will be tight next year and their won't likely be cap space to pay 4-6mil to an ex-starter backup QB on this team next year. If Josh goes down, they're largely f'd, just like every other top 10 team. I'm sure Beane is all over this, but Barkley seems a great team guy and can play; and Fromm was really strong at an SEC school and has a bunch of ability. I think we are set, unless a $2m experienced NFL QB falls in their lap, which is unlikely.
  19. give to D Hop for that sick GW one handed catch
  20. With no meaningful home field advantage this year and no bye, not sure I really care at this point. Playing in this empty stadium vs that empty stadium; who cares? In fact, I might rather play in a warmer climate to keep the pass game rolling. I just want the team healthy and rested going in. The only way this season derails is if they try to win out and get some key guys injured for the playoffs. I'm fine ending up 11-5 but winning the SB. Totally works for me.
  21. Thanks for posting all this everyone. Really great.
  22. I have so moved on from KB, so long ago... why do you guys hang on to these tired old subjects? Go Bills , go win the Division for the first time since my kids were in pre school.
  23. With no fans , there is no home field advantage this year, so I say rest starters the final week even if the # 2 seed is available. seeing the stadium empty is very sad and it really detracts from watching the game IMO. I want to win games , not see the team in my deserted patch vs. someone else's deserted patch. Bye weeks make a big difference to the starters during the season.. having one right before a playoff game would have the same effect, I believe.
