  1. We'll see. When the Pats' 8 (eight!) Covid op-outs and Gilmore are back and they get a competent QB (they have tons of cap space), they'll be a very competitive team next year. The Bills and strong to be sure, but we beat the Pats twice, Seattle, San Fran and others when they were really beat up by major injury/Covid problems. Bills play KC, Pittsburg and Titans AGAIN next year (along with Brady/Bucs) ; every year and every game will be a battle . Who knows, Bills could have a bunch of guys go down for the season like what happened to the 49ers this year; then the whole conversation changes. Enjoy it now while things are working in the Bills direction. The 9ers fans thought they'd be awesome the next (this year) as well. We see how that worked out. Go Bills. Trust the Process.
  2. Won't be as funny and attractive as soon as someone is paralyzed after doing it.
  3. After SB last year and 14-1 so far this year, the QB of that team in a passing league is going to win the MVP this year. Case closed.
  4. I wonder who his agent is. Never know. The wrong agent could try to get him to go to a big media market where the non football $$ is big. Just sayin. Seems that JA is not the kind to let the agent tell him what is good for him, but the kid is what, 24, 25 and knows nothing of how the business of the NFL works. Which agent was it who pulled a big name out of WNY a few years ago?? can't remember
  5. D Hop is an amazing talent. Watch the film. Really a super talent. Bill O'Brien really screwed the Texans over in so many ways.
  6. not a media analyst, but a 48 in a tiny market is a pretty ho hum event in the media world. a more interesting number would have been the national number-- that would tell you if Goodell should pay attention
  7. hmmm.... Jets have franchise LT.. check. #1 WR... check. a few other pieces. Not sure they will be sucking forever. You do not want Lawrence in there.
  8. gonna but tough to keep Mata and Holmes AND sign Milano, Williams etc.. gonna be an interesting off season
  9. I think Fromm is the guy. Cap will be tight next year and their won't likely be cap space to pay 4-6mil to an ex-starter backup QB on this team next year. If Josh goes down, they're largely f'd, just like every other top 10 team. I'm sure Beane is all over this, but Barkley seems a great team guy and can play; and Fromm was really strong at an SEC school and has a bunch of ability. I think we are set, unless a $2m experienced NFL QB falls in their lap, which is unlikely.
  10. give to D Hop for that sick GW one handed catch
  11. With no meaningful home field advantage this year and no bye, not sure I really care at this point. Playing in this empty stadium vs that empty stadium; who cares? In fact, I might rather play in a warmer climate to keep the pass game rolling. I just want the team healthy and rested going in. The only way this season derails is if they try to win out and get some key guys injured for the playoffs. I'm fine ending up 11-5 but winning the SB. Totally works for me.
  12. Thanks for posting all this everyone. Really great.
  13. I have so moved on from KB, so long ago... why do you guys hang on to these tired old subjects? Go Bills , go win the Division for the first time since my kids were in pre school.
  14. With no fans , there is no home field advantage this year, so I say rest starters the final week even if the # 2 seed is available. seeing the stadium empty is very sad and it really detracts from watching the game IMO. I want to win games , not see the team in my deserted patch vs. someone else's deserted patch. Bye weeks make a big difference to the starters during the season.. having one right before a playoff game would have the same effect, I believe.
  15. Another great signing by Beane as part of the process. Not sure a TD return really matters, he's just one more part of the offense.
  16. yeah, any blue state team is pretty much screwed in general. is what it is.
  17. think so. milano on Kelce, Tre on Hill.. I can see Bills scoring on that D if they can score on Pitt D. We can play them now me thinks.
  18. he's trolling the bigger (non-KC) markets, who will respond in droves with indignation (and clicks and attention - what his bosses get paid to generate) .. he could give a crap what the tiny market does - does not move the needle. ignore. they pay them to get eyeballs. Promoting a tiny market team is brilliant, as the big markets will go b--lsh-t and give him more attention and clicks -- what his bosses want; reaction of the tiny market is irrelevant. guy knows what he is doing
  19. I think so. I preach and preach "just stick to the process" of building the roster continually with quality players/people and combined with continuity of patient, quality coaching/staff the wins will simply take care of themselves. Was thinking next year would be the year for a SB run, but the roster is pretty darn solid and very healthy relative to most of the rest the league, there appears to be harmony and continuity throughout... heck why not this year? They could have a dozen key guys go on IR next year, who knows. Go get it while the door is open.
  20. "birth"?? are you f ing kidding me? do you even know what a berth is?
  21. Agreed. The Pats win was textbook execution against what they were allowing and win the damn game. As we all know, National media and the League decided many years ago to focus on individuals to market and create controversy (and therefore interest) around, rather than teams hence the hype on QBs. We don't need to buy into it. It's the ultimate team game. So let's not.
  22. Wilton, you haven't been around this board very long, have you? These guys usually put all this hype out there riiiight before a signature loss. Same rap from this board right before getting run over by the Titans.
  23. Tomlin is freakin awesome. Talks like a preacher and has a ton of swag. Love that guy.
