  1. We'll find out soon enough
  2. Spectrum Cable? What is this, 2003?
  3. yeah this will ensure the latest failure of the league. pay should be tied to gate revenue and tv ratings, just as it is in the NFL. If no one is watching, no one gets paid. pretty simple concept. performance is measured by eyeballs Sigh. Unions are a (perhaps the) primary reason Erie County now has half the number of people it had 50 years ago.
  4. the guy is likely compromised to some extent and they are doing whatever they can to keep him on the field. just like most NFL players after week 14
  5. Hard to say. Might be next year. Might be the year after that. McBeanes will draft well, keep the roster strong and the team will be right there for several more years it would seem. In a league with a single elimination tournament and the current level of hyper competitiveness/parity, where key injuries and/or turnover margin determine teams fates, who knows what year it will be "our year". I mean ,really, who knows? Last year was "the year" IMHO and what happens? Some non-descript jack-ss ST coach poops the bed with 13 seconds left and that's that, game over, season over. This year, all but the Bills could have key guys go down or be ineffective just b4 the tournament and a relatively healthy Bills team rolls to the title. H-ll, watch out if the Lions somehow get in. The NFL is great. No idea what's going to happen.
  6. guy started like 50 Big12 games in college, with great stats (both throwing and running), so he has played a lot of QB at a high-ish level. So transition to a pro offense and starting games probably not a big deal for him. IMO, his ceiling is limited and he'll be schemed out at some point by DCs because he does not have an NFL arm and is an average athlete.
  7. snow and low 20's. hope the fish enjoy the evening.
  8. If he's fully healthy and has juice left , then yes, he should be signed. Just like John Brown, stick him on the PS and get him ready to play. If between he and Brown they make 10 plays in the next two months, it will have been worth it. Jamison Crowder going down was big for this team and Lil Dirty appears to be streaky/unreliable, which drives McD nuts.
  9. The loss of Von Miller won't be felt until crunch time in the playoffs. I don't see the young guys stepping up just yet like Von has proven he can and has. Bills will be highly competitive the whole way, but Miller was the missing piece. Top 5 roster for sure, but it will be a huge dogfight to get to the SB and win it, without Miller, Hyde, Beasley and Daboll, a pile of guys out each week and with Josh not 100%. They look alternately invincible and beatable . Really hard to know what each game will produce other than a great fight out of the Bills. Lets go play the games and see what we see.
  10. Unless one knows what pass coverage they were playing, impossible to say one way or the other.
  11. The McBeane process has delivered to the fans a bunch of ballers. The fight in this team is amazing. Right there against all competition. Every game. No Jags or Colts games this year.. no one is boat racin' this team this year nor is this team going to sleep in any game this year. Love what I am seeing the past 2-3 years, after 20 years of crap. We'd have a Lombardi by now if the jackass, fired ST coach doesn't sh-t the bed with 13 sec left. keep going bills!
  12. man the weather sucks for December games....I remember going to a few of those in years past... are we 100% sure an open air stadium is the way to go?
  13. well, assuming both Dawkins and Milano are out, he had better return to form. The "next man up" at LT and LB shouldn't even be on the roster.
  14. yep they pulled it off for sure. heck of a risky throw, but hey, in the post Micah/Von world we increasingly live by Josh, die by Josh as the season goes on. that is the world we live in. I'll take it.
  15. he'll probably be back , once he proves his recruiting and coaching chops at a lesser D1 program for a few years.
  16. Bills have managed Tre brilliantly. The proof is on the field. Fans don't know what they are talking about. I was a pretty good athlete a long time ago, had an MCL tear (only) and man , you are down for awhile and need to completely rehab and get past complete knee instability/pain ... can't imagine what MCL plus ACL tear will take to recover from. Maybe as an edge rusher since you are the agressor, (vs Tre who must react to everything) Von can be effective on the field earlier. Hope so.
  17. Well, Von has been the only "outside the Process" crazy -ass "chase the shiny object" contract, if that is any consolation. Further proof that the scout, draft, grow and sign quality human beings "Process" is the way to go, IMO. Love Von, but Beane won't make a big reach again ,,, I hope. The Process has gotten them to where they are today.
  18. yep, and he's much older than Tre White, so next year is likely lost. no such thing as next man up with him, he is just too special
  19. Just watched the Jets / Vikings game. Mike White is limited, but man they are loaded and healthy. If they had a top 10 QB, they'd be all set. will be a good battle Sunday.
  20. Yes, that could easily be the difference.
  21. yeah their SB was 100% bought and paid for, no thought for the franchise's future at all, hope it was worth it. They will now suck for years. SF and Seattle will be lapping them for years.
  22. Oh, someone will take him for the right (ie: low) price eventually
  23. Love the Flutie comparison, with a side of Tyrod Taylor. Murray a great athlete for sure, but unless you are 6 foot 2 or above and a great athlete in today's NFL you have limited upside. Not the smartest draft pick.
  24. Yeah agreed, and I don't see it. KC is better than they were last year. Bills are about the same / or worse without Von Miller and Brian Daboll. and the AFC will go through KC again and we know how that will probably go.
