  1. This is what sticking to the process of constant roster building and playing who is playing the best get you. The wins just happen.
  2. ancient history. who gives a crap about sammy watkins fgs
  3. I don't pregame see a massive difference between last years game and this game. Whoever has the most possessions/creates more turnovers comes out on top on the scoreboard. Josh's fumble on the 20 last year was the difference in that game.
  4. we'll see when Covid ends and half their starters come back for next year
  5. the process continues. TJ Yeldon, while explosive and long striding and a pretty player to watch, is a limited player (eg. soft, weak in pass pro) , and historically a turnover risk (Jags). A Williams may have been showing out all season on the PS and just needed an opening. These coaches are committed to continually developing their roster and the players on it. They go with what they see, not a players years of experience, IMO. We shall see.
  6. Stills and Freeman will both be cut after the season. I think that's a safe bet.
  7. TL,DR Basically, if the Ravens stay true to form (blitz and play man), Josh will take off and make them pay, as he has with all others. If they blitz and play zone, Beasley cuts his route off and he catches 10 balls. Bills pretty much have the antedote to whatever the Ravens D chooses. Should be fun to watch.
  8. Agreed. Great if folks pick against the Bills, ie: " the process is still a work in process, still not sure about Josh, etc etc" . Then go out and win the game. Same as b4 the Seattle, Pittsburg, etc games. Beautiful.
  9. Simms is good to listen to. If he is critical of the Bills, he is serious , as he is totally supportive of the Bills and Allen in general. I always listen to him, the latest song and dance thing was stupid, but it was just a play on his man-crush on Allen. It's ok as it fits, if you've listened to him all season. Simms is strong and his viewpoints are usually solid. The guy played the game. He knows what he is looking at.
  10. Well, he IS a liability in pass protection, and had something of a fumbling history with other teams. He is basically a soft kind of player. Haven't seen Freeman, but if he is good, he was a monster in his prime. Who knows? Leave it to McBeanes. They have absolutely proven they know what they are doing personnel-wise.
  11. Just to show (again, I know) how far the Process has come: only 26 months ago; there we are tailgating outside M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore; 15-20 of us , all NoVa/Md relocated Bills fans excited for the season opening game after reaching the playoffs in 2017. Hadn't been to a game is several years. We invited a bunch of locals/neighbors to join the insanity , all proud of our tailgating prowess and our team. The wings, the beers, the pizza , the schwag ,the tents (pouring down rain), the tables, the works. How bad could it be, even though Tyrod was gone? Man could it be bad. Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones. Jeremy Kerley returning kicks instead of Andre Holmes (who was on the roster). And Nathan Peterman could not have been worse. We actually left in the middle of the 3rd quarter when it was 40 - 0 . Josh came in but it was mop up duty. One of the great (?) things about NFL Gamepass is you can go back and watch all the way back to 2011. I watched the replay of that game. Some of the guts of todays team played that day (milano, tre, edmunds, holmes, dion, poyer, hyde). I guess my point is I am still embarrassed about the display that day and although I rarely am immature enough to want revenge , but I really want revenge for that one. Last years game was only a warmup without Diggs , et al on the roster. I am hoping prime time Saturday night is where the Process delivers a payday/payback win in a big way. I want a beatdown.
  12. If the Colts game was close, this one will be just as close. Same style of opponent, but with a likely much more productive QB. Allen will need to be the difference. again. go bills
  13. um , no. when you've been carpetbagging around in your work for 20+ years and then someone wants to interview you for a a rare job that will assure you of as much $$ as you've made over those 20 years (combined) you say "where and when do I show up"
  14. Yep, they will compete with anyone from here on out this year. Here's hoping they get to the SB this year with this roster.
  15. Great thought re: getting the Chiefs beat by someone else as well as us (maybe) having an easier draw against the Stillers.
  16. Great win. Take em any way you can get em. But.... As predicted in my ill fated "Ottis Anderson" topic, Colts did exactly what the Giants did in SB 25 and were a blown 4th down play and a rookie kicker boinkapotamus from pulling it off. Colts D every bit as good as advertised. Not liking a matchup with Ravens (especially) or Titans, if what we saw today is what we will get. I say Go Steelers. What say you? Go Bills.!
  17. If I'm his agent, I say, "No", we tear up the rookie deal right now. Pretty sure that's the way it works? Anyone know how Mahomes contract was structureed??"
  18. whew!! let the results of the 3 years long "Process" be unveiled. This is what McBeanes have been building and building and building for. I trust it.
  19. If they do it now, whole lotta good players gonna get cut on Mar 1 . Say goodbye to Milano, Roberts, Mata, etc etc. ..gotta believe this goes down after next year so they get at least one more year with the key parts of the roster... salary cap will be low next year
  20. Hmm... probably right. But 6 pages of replies don't lie... folks thinkin on this one. I do trust the process, and hey, as predicted, the wins are now just plain happening because of it. But each game is new, the situation is fresh , the players are different. Who knows what the final score will be from game to game. In any event, go Bills!
