  1. so they win against jacoby brissett, taylor heineke and some rookie who has started 13 games since high school and now you are declaring the Bills SB bound? Yikes. Let's see them against some legit competition and see where we are then, shall we?
  2. nah, but I have that unconscious, on the dead run 35 yard foot off the ground end zone strike on the first drive of the game from 5 different angles if you'd like that... MVP, MVP
  3. Ford had one one of the worst PFF ratings 40-something on Sunday, giving up 12 pressures . Luckily, Josh scrambled out of it most times. Beane will continue to address in next years draft I am sure.
  4. Not sure why it was gone until now, but it is back.
  5. The Pats are just flat out good. They would have been a very tough out last year had a dozen starters not opted out. Both Pats games will be dogfights.
  6. Bills will need a heckuva lotta help to have home field throughout. Honestly don't think the roster is strong enough to get there. Love Josh, but Mahomes is in another category. Sweeping the Pats won't be easy in itself. That will be a dogfight. Go Bills. Don't try to figure it out.
  7. will never understand why Beane swapped him out. we had the two best legs in the game and let one of them go. Must be something underneath the bojo release we are not aware of... not buying the cap hit excuse..
  8. good for him... playing in NYC such a pain in the arse. their super fired up coach Salah is already choosing his words carefully.... so screwed
  9. Offense is key. Happy to win every game 35 - 30. The way to get to and win a SB in todays NFL. IMO, No one stopping anyone cold in today's NFL, barring QB getting knocked out early in a game (which puts the backup in a bad way as they've had no reps with starters).
  10. Injuries to key players really make a difference in NFL games. Looks like the Bills get a break for two weeks. We'll take it. Will need it later in the season when our guys are hurt. Its a long season.
  11. I would need to understand exactly what his role is in the defense before judging him. I am thinking the front 6 is more of a gap integrity, manage your gap and then go to the ball type of approach, rather than keep the LBs clean so they can make all the tackles. I might be wrong. Has any one actually studied how McD plays defense? It's not a "star maker" defense, it's kind of a 1/11th "control your gap/play zone behind it" approach to it isn't it?
  12. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/08/03/all-22-film-disappears-from-nfl-game-pass-its-unclear-when-it-will-return/ yeah not there... crap.....
  13. agreed. Bills O Line gets mowed by the largest D Line in the league and their DBs keep everything in front of them. if BD has brains enough to run at them , we'll be ok, but he will force the empty backfield offense again. Still think Bills go on a run thereafter, tho.
  14. I see this roster as very competitive and will get to the playoffs, but KC or Tampa's defense would stop the bills offense cold. Bills have no answer up front for the Chris Jones's and really stout front 7s of rhe NFL. Not yet.
  15. What I like now is the assurance that this team will be highly competitive in every game they play. For so long, there were 6 or 7 games you just knew were losses. Games now can go either way based on turnovers, injuries , whatever, but this roster is 110% competitive for the first time . So lets go play the games and enjoy them, win or lose. Don't get so invested in the result. Celebrate the successes, recognize that losses will absolutely happen. Its a long season.
  16. I come nowhere near. Most Bills fans are a-way too invested in the team, self identifying with the ups and downs. I believe the profession calls it "reflected glory" syndrome or something like that. Losses generate all kinds of hate , etc. So, yeah, stay away until they cool off and realize there is more to life than how the freakin bills did last week. Having said that, Go freakin Bills.
  17. If they make everyone mask up Outdoors, I will throw up. What a bunch of politicians. Cave dwellers in Egypt by now are aware Covid does not spread outdoors, per the scientists guys like Poloncarz worship.
  18. Agreed with the Athletic. This is the issue that will get them a couple losses they cannot afford, if anything does.
  19. so it seems... we don't bust that Seattle game open last year without that John Brown speed , not sure I see a guy like that on today's roster.
  20. Anyone concerned that John Brown's ability to keep safeties deep was lost when E Sanders replaced him? Anyone have their relative 40 times? I don't recall Sanders being a burner. Hope I am wrong.. Concerned we have a great, but less fast WR group, and secondaries will accordingly play tighter to the line of scrimmage.
