  1. yawn. of course this was going to happen
  2. no surprise there. go get more offense Beane. we know how this league works now
  3. be most specific in your title so that i can ignore your post more quickly
  4. Diggs made him look pretty bad in week 1, as I recall. Nothing to see here.
  5. Workman's Comp coverage for an athlete making more than $100k per game is kind of ridiculous. WC wasn't meant for application to the NFL or highly paid workers in general. Take the WC fund and use it for workers that really need to tap that fund when injured on the job . In the abstract, I actually can see where the Bengals are coming from. The WC fund is not a bottomless pool of $$. The optics of this are really bad for the team and they should have considered that, but fundamentally their position makes some sense. An NFL type workplace injury could drain the fund unnecessarily (bc the team/player has more than enough dough to pay) and the fund is designed/meant for the quadriplegic phone company worker making $20/hr with 4 kids
  6. Get an O Line and anyone can play RB.
  7. ESO (Expensive Shiny Object) and besides, he's done.
  8. He's just fine right where he is.
  9. Saints are toast for the foreseeable future. Incredibly poorly run franchise. They are simply fortunate to be surrounded by similarily poorly run franchises. Brady chose well by going to the Bucs.
  10. If Breece Hall comes back in good shape, the addition of Rodgers should tighten up things in the AFC. He is way better than Favre ever was. Plus he'll be immune to the NY media as he both is smarter/snarkier than any NY media hack and makes more $ than any local NY network itself.
  11. they had pretty good weapons last year
  12. Another "Shiny Object" No
  13. Good for him. Guy stuck with it for years. Watch their games, he can bring it. A guy I root for.
  14. I remember Von at the Combine... really was different/impressive...oh that bend....
  15. Yeah I do not like this time of year, seeing guys, even low end guys, making ridiculous amounts of $$ to play a game.
  16. Yep. Just sign Mariota to a $10m prove it deal + draft a QB high. Daboll can get more out of Mariota than he got out of Jones for 1/4 the money. In fact, I'm not sure Mariota is done yet.
  17. OG would be the preference. the Saffold experiment seems to have failed this years playoffs have shown that offense is the way to go, therefore go get as much offensive depth as you can, bc the top AFC QBs will score on you no matter how much you spend on defense.
  18. or you could have both Lamar and Carr / Rodgers in your division in a couple weeks. at least Carr to the Jets is a no brainer and phins owner has shown he will do anything to get a top QB.
  19. easy decision, sign your own. see how he does now that he is completely healthy. he was strong before the injury. my understanding is that he has come back to 100%
  20. without a true franchise QB, most teams in fact are lucky to win 6 games
  21. Exactly. In a single elimination tournament, you have to. As far as I'm concerned, the Bills were 14-4 last season , which was great. With JA17 on the roster, Trust your process , keep up this kind of production and there will be a season (s) where the injuries are down and you get a few more breaks than the other guy and you get the trophy as well. Heck , Andy Reid has had maybe 7 or 8 SB trophy worthy teams btwn the Eagles and Chiefs, and he has what, 2 trophies?
  22. yes, McBeanes have earned our trust. 55-21 the past 4 years just doesn't lie.
