Honestly what do you do moving forward?
The Red King replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
Crush the life out of Washington the next time we play them, run up the score and send a message about screwing the Bills? More on what I think you meant, it's tough. Cap money is tight. I'd like another TE that can catch the ball. If you can't cover all of Josh's weapons he will shred you. That, however, might be done via the draft. -
If you're Washington, why burn bridges when you're not a contender? I mean other teams, agents and players aren't going to trust Washington the slightest bit with all the bullpoop they've been pulling this offseason.

McKissinc changes mind, returning to Washington
The Red King replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
The GM position works, to a degree, on professionalism and mutual respect. Washington screwing people is a sneaky, short-term gain, but will cost them hard long-term, when nobody, player, GM or agent is going to trust them at all. And Washington isn't even a contender. You pick now to burn your bridges? -
Getting the #1 Seed in AFC playoffs is critical now
The Red King replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
They are, but I think it comes down to wording. Critical suggests it almost has to happen, and the odds of succeeding are terminally low otherwise. For example, the way the divisional round was going, it was critical to win the OT coin toss. The Bengals and Rams proved it's not critical to get the top seed. Critical suggests that if we don't get the top seed it will be near impossible to win the conference, and I simply can't back that. But yes, I think our opinions are quite close, just a niggling lil disagreement on wording. I got this round. 🍻 (Hmm...no idea how you made the emoji bigger. These are more like shot glasses now. >.>) -
Getting the #1 Seed in AFC playoffs is critical now
The Red King replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Remind me again, which of last year's conference champions were the #1 seed? Important, yes. Anytime you have to play one less game (where anything could happen from injury to fluke loss) and a week to rest banged up players is an amazing advantage, as is home field the whole way to the big game. But it is not critical. Teams have won the Super Bowl as Wild Cards. Let's not overstate it. -
From Dawg Pound to Bills Mafia - Browns Fans Leaving for the Bills
The Red King replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Two sides. I agree with GunnerBill and due process. People sometimes jump to conclusions, and yes, sometimes people make false accusations. I am not going to say for sure he did it unless he is convicted. With that being said... He would not have to be convicted for me to feel wrong rooting for him. There is not enough out there to really know one way or the other atm, so you need to follow your gut in regards to rooting for him. I, for one, would feel sick doing so. Not because he is a sexual predator, but because I feel he likely is. Browns fans have to make the same decision now. As for swinging this back to the Browns fans, I feel bad for them. Imagine drafting Allen, having a year or two of hope finally after being terrible for so long, only to see him regress like Mayfield did. And then giving up a ton of 1sts for Watson. I remember Browns fans (in the brief time the Browns didn't exist) coming up to Buffalo one game in a show of support. Great fans. So yeah, I feel for them. -
This left me stunned. For me he was great in a way I didn't sometimes think of him, but somehow felt like he was always going to be there. A constant good thing if you will, like the sun or local pizza. RIP and thank you. You'll be missed, John.

"I heard Josh Allen doesn't throw the ball hard. His feet push the Earth the opposite direction that hard!" Oh...wait...this isn't one of those threads? 🤔

If Mitch is going to be a backup, why not stay here where he's got it good? I'd have to think, if I'm him, I'd only go where I was assured a starter spot.

Two possessions. Coin toss determines who goes first, winner can take or defer. Team that gets the ball first gets a drive. If they get a TD they cannot go for two. Then, the other team gets the ball and needs to do better then the last drive or they lose. Still not perfect, but fairer. In the case of the Bills/Chiefs game, KC got 7. Bills would have one drive to get 8 to win. Team that goes second has the advantage of knowing how much they need, but the disadvantage of needing more points.

Kyler Murray unfollows Cardinals on social media
The Red King replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Can you imagine if Arizona spent back to back first round draft picks on QBs that flamed/bailed out? -
Home, white helmet and pants, blue jersey. Road, all whites. Alternate ideas... Home, white helmet and pants, red jersey. Road, red helmet and pants, white jersey. ...just food for thought.

Something to consider is not just who would be a good backup, but who would be a good backup in our system. The whole system isn't changing drastically once the backup goes in. That makes the choice tougher.

Two years and lots of money spent for Washington's going Commando? I just...ugh... In just five minutes I thought of the Washington Warlords. For a logo use one of those old medieval helmets with a spike on top and curved horns, then use the horns and spike to fashion a "W". Five minutes and I already thought of something better then this. I feel bad for the fans. I mean this isn't Buffaslug levels of disappointing, but...

Caption this - Daboll in a suit edition
The Red King replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
"This is a great blooper ree...wait...these are our *highlights* from last season? What have I gotten myself into?!?" -
"Welcome...to...Cyberball!" ...where the QBs literally have cannons for arms. 😉

Hey, can't hold anything against Cincy or KC. We beat ourselves last week. Maybe seeing Cincy make it to the big one, and realizing how close they were before blowing it will motivate the Bills next season. Congrats, Cincy! Beating Tenn on a last-second field goal, then KC on an OT field goal...both on the road. You earned it.

SB XXV hurt worse, but that is the only game in my 47 years on this Earth that did. A legendary effort by Allen pissed away by a defense that should be nicknamed "The Red Carpet". One stop, one big play, anything! Hope it's a cold, painful flight back for those pretenders on D. They should give their paychecks back because they sure as hell didn't show for the game.

The ref needed the ball and did everything he could to get to it. The Cowboys knew that, and Dak gave the ball to his center instead. The poor ref had to squeeze himself between two linemen who did not move to let him past, and still looked like he was doing everything he could to let Dallas get the spike. The Cowboys made every mistake on that play and did nothing to help the ref help them. No sympathy here.
