  1. These refs are so f'ing biased...just gave the Chiefs 7... ...I'm feeling sick. Not this way...
  2. Bills 41 Chiefs 17 ...I know, I know, but it's a gut feeling. I think Allen and the 'O' shred the KC 'D' that has looked mighty sus, and the Buffalo 'D' swarms like fire ants and forces the big M into making mistakes, which he seems more prone to do as of late.
  3. I'm greedy and hoping Buffalo crushes KC. Get the monkey off our back and send notice to the league. If Buffalo thrashes KC at Arrowhead other teams may start outright fearing us, and fear goes a long way. Hell, I can dream, right?
  4. You did it wrong. You're supposed to rip into everyone at TBD because one member booed you. 😉
  5. Persecution complex and perspective. People see what they want to see, and Bees wanted to see (well, hear) boos, so he did. Guy took a stand on the vax. I disagree with him, but it was his call. I never bood him, and watching him last week thought it was good the season was going and this Twitter crap was over. Problem is, as I initially said, is that he's locked on his view. He got upset and lashed out at the entire fan base, including loyal fans that shelled out money to sit through a downpour and still cheered...just because he stayed fixated on the ones that didn't. That didn't sit well with me. We're all human and lash out in the heat of the moment. What really chafed me was after. He had time to settle, calm and reflect on it. He had a chance to apologize and clarify, to note there are a lot of good Bills' fans that support him, and his frustrations lie with the others. He didn't. He just doubled down. Why? Because he cannot break his fixation. His attention is solely locked on his detractors and nothing else matters. He's lost my respect and support. I will not boo him, but I also won't shed a tear when he's gone.
  6. Someone just won a bet that the Bills were gonna cut Beasley. A technicality, but a win nontheless. XD
  7. Love the bounce-back. Glad to see them play aggressive at the end of the half and nab points. WFT had a small burst, but the Bills are dominating. Only wild card was momentum, and we seem to be recovering that.
  8. Refs missed a hold on that TD. Keeping hands in pockets today it seems.
  9. Week 1 was disappointing, no doubt. But it was one week. The season is not over. We lost by 7 to last year's #3 seed. I remember the Bills curb-stomping the Pats week 1 awhile back. A classic game where a D-Lineman (Adams) had a Pick-6 on Brady. The Pats then won 14 of their remaining 15, including beating Buffalo the last week of the season by an identical score to what we did to them week 1. That Pats team won the Superbowl that year. So...too early to write off the season. Are there things to be concerned about? Of course! Allen looked like a deer in headlights, like he wasn't ready for the pressure of being favorites. And that O-line should be nicknamed 'The Red Carpet'. I will be watching and praying for signifigant improvement from all of them. But...let's not write off the whole season yet.
  10. The refs can make calls, I just want them to be consistant. Are they flagging everything or is it hands in pockets. 'Cause right now they're calling everything on us, and ignoring blatent penalties by Pitt.
  11. These refs are terrible. Absolutely terrible.
  12. That was the wrong time to get cute. >.<
  13. Great game marred by a bad no-call. Let's be honest though, with Brady under center they still might have won even with the call. Dallas gave that game away. Two missed chip shots that amounted to four lost points. Squandered opportunities on offense. Tampa showed me they're good, but not invincible. If Buffalo brings their 'A' game, they can beat them.
  14. My reply still stands. If Miami chose white, we'd go blue, just like if we chose white at home, Miami would have to go aqua. Dallas used to do this too, iirc.
  15. Home team pics their unis. If the home team pics white, Buffalo would have to wear blue.
  16. That shade of metallic blue is horrible. I do wonder what the normal logo would look like in metallics though.
  17. I'm not sure I'd even want this, but it was floating in my head. With the look of all-white unis, now with white face-masks looking so good, what if Buffalo defaulted to them as their main uni, even for home games, as some teams have in the past (Miami being one, if my aging memory is still working). Again, not even sure I'd want this, but figure it might be fun to see what others think. I do think the all-whites are pretty sharp.
  18. Will they stay aggressive though? By the end of last season I saw a well-developed meat grinder, one that absolutely mulched a playoff-hopeful Dolphins team on Week 17. That killer attitude seemed to fade the next week. This was no longer a team administering wedgies and taking lunch money. They seemed nervous, cautious, and that persisted. We all remembered McD going for field goals in the Championship game when we desperately needed TDs. It was the same when the Bills played the Chiefs earlier in the season. They went from playing all-out, damn the risks, we're going to beat you down football and instead played to just keep pace and try and squeak out a win at the end. All-out war is this team's strength. I want to see the no-fear, impose their will on others attitude that was on display the end of the season.
  19. Josh, here's a tip...*shut...up*!!! Be humble and appreciate you have (had) an opportunity. You are in no position to B word and moan. >.<
  20. People don't like being wrong. Some people have dug in on their opinions on draft picks and resent any suggestion they might be wrong. Hell a few people still grouse about Allen. If you say something nice about our prospects, expect blowback from people who are already commited to them being mistakes. If I can make a suggestion to the OP, the only part of your post I'd say was a bit much was the suggestion that McD has to be happy, as it's been rightly pointed out that while you can evaluate, it's way too early to come to conclusions.
  21. A game that plays well into 'screw your neighbor'. Short form, you build cities, and roads because your cities can't be too close. You try to build on different tiles to get different resources. And screw other players by getting to sweet spots and slapping down a city before they can, seeing the pain and misery on their faces over the time and resources they wasted on roads and...*ahem*...anyway... Also, Catan Jr. is a wonderful game for kids. It's a streamlined (not dummed down) version of the original game...with pirates!
  22. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31906170/buffalo-bills-wr-cole-beasley-says-nfl-vaccine-gripe-differing-standards-wants-players-proper-information ...he really sounds like he thinks he's a martyr/crusader over all this. I'm actually starting to worry if he's going to be focused on football at this rate. >.<
  23. Let's not become Patriots fans, guys. Let me explain. The Bills were once the powerhouse of the AFC East, and the lowly Pats were the trash. Always in the basement. I felt bad for their fans. Then Brady stepped up just as the Bills were fading. Then came the arrogant Pats fans, talking not only like they were great, but that they were always great, forgetting they were just in our position. Now it's our turn. The Jets have taken our place. Let's stay classy. 😉
  24. We always complain about being underrated. They got us pegged right IMHO. Pass rush remains a concern and KC shredded us. TB12 is a god when he's not pressured. Third seems right. And yet, even with the Bills pegged right, we seem to find things to complain about. Can we not just be happy, or failing that, content?
