If Mitch is going to be a backup, why not stay here where he's got it good? I'd have to think, if I'm him, I'd only go where I was assured a starter spot.

Two possessions. Coin toss determines who goes first, winner can take or defer. Team that gets the ball first gets a drive. If they get a TD they cannot go for two. Then, the other team gets the ball and needs to do better then the last drive or they lose. Still not perfect, but fairer. In the case of the Bills/Chiefs game, KC got 7. Bills would have one drive to get 8 to win. Team that goes second has the advantage of knowing how much they need, but the disadvantage of needing more points.

Can you imagine if Arizona spent back to back first round draft picks on QBs that flamed/bailed out?

Something to consider is not just who would be a good backup, but who would be a good backup in our system. The whole system isn't changing drastically once the backup goes in. That makes the choice tougher.

For a logo use one of those old medieval helmets with a spike on top and curved horns, then use the horns and spike to fashion a "W". Five minutes and I already thought of something better then this. Hey, can't hold anything against Cincy or KC. We beat ourselves last week. Maybe seeing Cincy make it to the big one, and realizing how close they were before blowing it will motivate the Bills next season. Congrats, Cincy! Beating Tenn on a last-second field goal, then KC on an OT field goal...both on the road. You earned it.

SB XXV hurt worse, but that is the only game in my 47 years on this Earth that did. A legendary effort by Allen pissed away by a defense that should be nicknamed "The Red Carpet". One stop, one big play, anything! Hope it's a cold, painful flight back for those pretenders on D. They should give their paychecks back because they sure as hell didn't show for the game.

D can't stop them, and Allen's hands are tied tight. Wonder if this will get them untied. Playing way too scared.

No deep passing, bad play calling, and the refs tipped their hand on who's supposed to win. Unless something changes, we're done.

Consistancy is one. If we can get Sat.'s Allen most every game the Bills will be near unstoppable. He's had trouble staying consistant this year. The other is leading game-winning drives in close games. Which is odd because he's excelled at this in other seasons.

The ref needed the ball and did everything he could to get to it. The Cowboys knew that, and Dak gave the ball to his center instead. The poor ref had to squeeze himself between two linemen who did not move to let him past, and still looked like he was doing everything he could to let Dallas get the spike. The Cowboys made every mistake on that play and did nothing to help the ref help them. No sympathy here.

And the preseason before. NFL.com had a poll for best AFC team. The options were KC, Baltimore...and Cleveland. And the preseason before that. The press has ordaned Cleveland the best AFC team each preseason since they got Mayfield.

Top seed matters. A week to rest, one less game to win to get to the Super Bowl, and home field throughout the playoffs. That doesn't mean much?

Every preseason the press annoints the Browns AFC Champions before a single game is played. Love seeing the press with egg on their face later on. XD

What we did to the Dolphins is what the Pats should have done to them. Any given Sunday.

Here's the fun part...we can root for who we want to. It's nice to know what affects what, but in the end our rooting interests don't actually influence other games. Those that want to root one way to try and get to the #1 spot can. Those that want to root for different outcomes to consolidate #3 or such can. We don't have to agree because in the end all our rooting for any non-Bills game doesn't amount to a hill 'o beans. So all you all just root how you want...except for the Bills...root for the Bills!!!...and see how this weekend turns out. No use turning on one another for not rooting the same way you do...unless you root against Buffalo...that's a hangin' offense. 😉

Alright, crazy question, what if the Bills catch both the Titans and Chiefs, leading to a three-way tie? Assuming the losses for the Titans and Chiefs lose in-conference all three would have identical Conference records. If I'm right, Titans beat both the Bills and Chiefs, and so come out on top. Bills then beat KC, so they come in second, KC in third? What if Cinci makes it a four-way tie? Does Cincy get top based on Conference record, then Titans, Bills and Chiefs for reasons listed above? Trying to wrap my head around it. What if NE beats Miami and we lose to the Jets? How does that play out? Head-to-Head and division record are tied. Would it come down to conference record, or common games? ...my head hurts. 🤔
