He's a great leader, falls short as a game coach. Definitely worse head coaches out there though. Not going for 2 after Bease TD was a huge mistake. He should know better.

Gameday Thread Week 6 2nd Half Bills vs Chiefs
Da webster guy replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not going for 2 after last TD is a joke 9 or 10 down is the same thing, but down 8 is huge Brutal coaching miss by McD -
Week 6: Chiefs at Bills (+5): Monday 5pm on Fox
Da webster guy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im predicting a Bills win if John Brown and TreDay are healthy enough to be effective. We always play differently without Milano as well and Edmunds is obviously playing hurt. We could really use a bye week right now, instead we are on a short week playing the superbowl champs. If Daboll is truly as good as the hype says he is, this will be his week to show it to the nation. -
AJ Epenesa weight loss
Da webster guy replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great point. He is def faster and had another nice play vs Titans that was speed related. I still think he would be an upgrade over AJ Klein to fill Lorax shoes. -
Tonight exposed again we need a no1 back
Da webster guy replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They would lose self respect, team chemistry and millions of dollars. Bell is awful. He was in a perfect and rare situation at Pitt which doesnt exist anymore. Our running game will get back on track, Mongo is a huge upgrade over Spencer Long and Moss hasn't really had a chance to groove yet. Gotta be patient. -
Jordan Phillips has been missed

Dude thats been proven to be untrue over and over again. He wins his matchups more than he loses. Game changing stop vs Raiders on 4th down. -
Dawson Knox and the TE position
Da webster guy replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thats the whole thing-- no improvement. Had basically no experience in college as a pass catcher, and now we see why. Textbook example of a great athlete who isnt a great football player. -
Defensive Assessment Thus Far
Da webster guy replied to Do The Reich Thing's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Epenesa has flashed a few times in his limited snaps. Had another great solo play tonite, although he drew a rookie Offside call right after. Very good closing speed, seems as if he could slide to Lorax old spot, I swear the guy can probably cover as well as Klein (not sayin much) if he dropped 10 lbs. This season our D has surprised me in that Jefferson is really good and Jerry has lost a step and is probably our weakest link on Dline. Would like to see a guy like Mike Love or Darryl get more snaps over at Jerrys -
Uh matty, don't look for precedent with the COVID sports world, you won't find it. Every sport has made extreme changes to try and finish their season, and some of it isn't fair to certain teams. The NFL is no different, we've already got some teams with zero fans and others with the OK to fill the entire stadium. To me it makes sense to push Bills Titans a few days out if they can do it safely, as well as the KC game to Sunday night. Pushing a game with no fans isn't that hard.

Hypothetical: Chances we regret losing Daboll?
Da webster guy replied to jletha's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's gonna see how content Leslie Frasier is after trying the HC gig and settling into a nicely paying coordinator job, and realize the grass isnt always greener. Pegulas could make it impossible for him to leave if they were feeling $$$$ -
CHRIS SIMMS CONFIRMED JOSH ALLEN FANBOY
Da webster guy replied to JOE IN HAMPTON ROADS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kiper and the Simms duo deserve some respect for sticking with 17 from the start. In fairness to everyone who didnt believe in Josh (I definitely was worried a lot along the way) he really is an exception to the rule, drafting strong armed qb's with inadequate college pedigrees-- its rare to hit on ANY qb much less one with Josh's resume. The best thing is a franchise qb can be around for 15+ years, and you're always fun to watch. We deserve it. -
Good original post. Very interesting. It's hard reading through that to get a sense of how our defense will do against these guys because we're so inconsistent with stopping the run. I feel like Josh and the O are going to move on most teams pretty well, but the defense.....yikes. This season is going to be one of development on defense. Can JNorman, Ed Oliver, Harrison Philips, Jefferson all just dial up a monster year for us please? We aren't making blockbuster trades mid-season, we are riding with these guys. We have 2 oldies but goodies at DE in Hughes and Addison, and they're solid but not spectacular thus far. Harrison and Norman had great games and they're both rusty. Probably our biggest 2 guys on defense last week. We have depth at Dline and after that we're relying heavily on our fairly thin roster to formulate a superbowl quality defense in the next 3 months. McD and Frasier are being put to the test now, they always seem to get things ironed out as the season rolls on, lets hope it happens again.

Doesn't sound like any critical players that I know of. In addition to Blasingame, the list of Titans players who have been placed on the COVID-19/reserve list since Sept. 24 are: defensive lineman DaQuan Jones long snapper Beau Brinkley tight end Tommy Hudson (practice squad) outside linebacker Kamalei Correa cornerback Kristian Fulton cornerback Greg Mabin (practice squad) wide receiver Adam Humphries wide receiver Cam Batson defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons A.J. Brown will be back at WR for them he is a stud, been injured since week 1. He was 1000 yard rookie last year, 8 TD's. He and Corey Davis are a solid 1/2

Another Positive Out Of Yesterday - Rush Defense
Da webster guy replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whatever they did it helped. McD calling the D in second half maybe? -
Josh Allen shoulder injury
Da webster guy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah 1st down is the key. Couldn't we just get a dive by Yeldon or Motor on 1st down and see how that goes first before we subject our franchise qb to a nasty pileup on the goal line? He took a helmet shot right in the back on that one. -
I heard him talking about that, he also said switching from side to side as a tackle or guard is not easy. Your hands have to reverse everything.

Josh's Amazing Array of Throws From Yesterday
Da webster guy replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah and his open hip throws are more wrist and flick than wind up and chuck. His release keeps getting faster, the TD to Diggs last week he had no room to wind up or time to throw but he zips it out somehow and hits a TD that meant the difference in the game. Watching the game yesterday we were laughing at all the replays where the ball is in the perfect spot every throw. Takin it for granted now. -
What happens if you flip flop Darnold and Allen?
Da webster guy replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh may be able to stop the bleeding for the Jets but he'd get killed in the process. They've tried to boost that Oline but its pretty awful. I still think Darnold has a shot at being a franchise guy somewhere, just not in NY.
