  1. Which means in a re draft Browns take Allen and we probably have Rosen or Fitz or some Carolina retread at QB and my hair is fallin out....
  2. Wait, you mean going to live on a planet where the average temp is 81 below zero and there is no oxygen doesn't excite you?
  3. Bright side: We are 7-3 and control our down destiny down the stretch. We just lost on a freak catch by probably the surest handed receiver to ever play (Nuk had ZERO drops on a 115 catch season in 2018) Knox has more drops than that in warmups. Our offense did enough to win the game, including another awesome last minute touchdown drive. We will roll out of this bye week healthy and ready to pop the Chargers and Niners and be 9-3.
  4. The downside of having such a tight, family oriented team is that its hard to let people go who you love, even when they are dragging your team down. Thats compounded by the fact that we traded up to get Knox, so Beane has a significant draft capital investment in him. Two stupid penalties yesterday on limited snaps. One was a boneheaded block in the back that cost us 21 yards and josh threw a pick on the next play. When people say Gee isn't it amazing Knox only caught a dozen passes in his entire college career and never even scored a single TD? I say no, its not amazing, its perfectly understandable. This guy is a disaster out there.
  5. Hope he is ok. Most solid cb of the year for us in run support and has played excellent vs pass too
  6. Gotta say im kinda tired of the Panthers retreads. Its a 50% hit rate, and Josh Norman is startin to feel a lot like Kelvin Benjamin. Big name but below average play and not good enough to rely on. Gotta say im kinda tired of the Panthers retreads. Its a 50% hit rate, and Josh Norman is startin to feel a lot like Kelvin Benjamin. 7. And that pathetic block on Jamal Adams that almost got Josh killed. Sorry but if Knox was a walk on he would have been cut a long time ago. Everyone says he only caught a handful of passes in college and never scored a TD like its a surprise. Gee I wonder why.... For a team that preaches consistency, the dude is anything but. The way I characterize Knox is fantastic athlete, poor football player. Beane is a gambler, he hit on Josh, missed on Knox.
  8. 100% He and Dak are both great guys but one organization treats you like you work for them and the other treats players like family. If you were $$$ set for life either way where would you rather play. Plus if Josh keeps playing well he gets into the $7-15m per year endorsement game.
  9. McKenzie is a Daboll favorite. Solid hands and trusted in clutch situations. Backup returner. Requires attention from opposing DC's in gameplanning. Seems to get good separation vs man or zone. Cap friendly. No reason to think hes going anywhere.
  10. Yeah that penalty on Adams interfering with Bease was the most important flag of the game. Momentum was swinging and we had 3rd and long, one score game. Overall the Oline did a really good job today considering how many in and outs they had with injuries. Both our running backs are doing well in pass protection too. They oughta give Knox a lesson or two.
  11. Beaner missed on Vosean pick (easy to do with late round picks) and gambled this year on Tremaine and Milano staying healthy. We lost that bet and it's costing us. My hope is we somehow win one of the next 2 and come out of the bye week 7-3 with a 2 week rest and spank the Chargers with a well rested squad. Might see some hybrid packages like 5-2 tmrw. Lockett and Metcalf are studs and we only have one CB I trust right now. Get ready for some heavy zone D.
  12. Yup Been saying that for weeks now, get the guys 7 yards deep and let our little bowling balls hammer away. All these tight read options give the backs no head of steam and it tends to result in a lot of dancing at the line trying to find daylight.
  13. I read somewhere that Feliciano would have jumped right in at center but his hands were too taped up so he had to finish the series at guard and then get his right hand unwrapped and retaped for snapping the ball.
  14. It got to be laughable how many times he overthrew his guys. Ball was either too far deep or too far in front of his crossers. He has a nice arc trajectory, like Russell Wilson, so when he hits on a pass it looks great because it drops down into the WR. But unlike Russ (or Josh) he doesn't seem to have enough elusiveness and pocket presence to cut it as a franchise guy.
  15. good to hear. we have Cody, Winters, Boettger, Bates and Mongo for 3 spots in the middle. I'm still guessing they try Bates back at C after a week of prep, and get Feliciano back at RG. I remember seeing Boettger first time at training camp last year, the dude is listed as 6'6 but he walked by my son and I and we were like holy crap that dude looks more like 6'10. Just a huge dude.
  16. We are similar to Seattle. Even with Russell on fire, the hawks have squeaked out quite a few games this year. Explosive qb play, fun to watch create, used to have a great defense but don't have much of a D at all in 2020. We are giving up 25 a game, they're giving up 28. The difference is they pay their QB $30M and we pay ours $5M. We are in the magic window of QB on a rookie deal before they crush your cap. Happened to GB, Detroit, Seattle and will kill the Chiefs defense soon enough. I'm less concerned with national spotlight than I am with getting linebacker play worthy of a championship run. It's clear already that lack of depth at LB is a huge problem and it may be too late to fix it. Wondering if Sean and Frasier can switch to a hybrid D at this point like the Pats ran against us.
  17. Plus Jefferson, Zimmer and Ed are all playing above average ball right now. I'd rather see them make a move at LB, it's our achilles heel and it's likely Milano and Edmunds will be on and off hurt all season. We rolled the dice that our 2 LB's would be healthy for the past two drafts and we are paying for it now. Darron Lee may be able to contribute, but he's not a thumper. His game is similar to Tremaine, speed and range but not a good run defender. Lorax? Vosean? I'm sure the Bills whiteboard has a lot of names on it, if I were Beane I'd desperately be making offers to trade picks, we are in the playoffs this year.
  18. I think our interior DL is shaping up. Zimmer, Ed, Jefferson all above average players, Harrison had a good showing after some rest, this new guy Bryant is a good run stuffer too. Defense is going to come around after bye week: LB's and Dbacks get a much needed 2 week break after our two NFC games here.
  19. An interesting move the veteran seems to save for critical plays, did it at the goal line vs the Rams and again yesterday on Josh's TD keeper. He stands up his guy and jerks him straight down and drops on top of him. It looks like he must be grabbing the jersey underneath but however he does it, its a nasty takedown technique and super effective. I'll try and link a vid. They've moved him around a little but he's at RG here: https://www.buffalobills.com/video/josh-allen-rushes-for-a-2-yard-touchdown-bills-vs-patriots
  20. That and sending a free blitzer at Josh is almost always a mistake, he consistently makes the first guy miss and then finds the open guy.
  21. Wondered about Vosean, he knows our defense, was a great hitter. Did he get picked up after we released him?
  22. At least bring him in camp and give him a week w with the team to see how he looks
  23. Poyer played lights out, surprised he's not on most people's lists here. Had tons of tackles and helped confuse Cam
  24. And they've given up almost 30 a game. Relax bro, this isnt the Hawks team you remember. Bills 26 Seattle 23 Itsa lock.
  25. I know it's gonna be a rain mix and some wind, but trust me take the over 41 pts. Weather gets overhyped, both qb's will be slinging it all over tmrw. They both have good velocity and spin, it's not like they're throwing frisbees out there, those footballs fly just fine in the elements.
