  1. Idk. Buscaglia just seems like he’s trying outsmart everyone and tell anyone who’s listening that he knows something that they don’t. Every week. Last season it was the their dissatisfaction with and demise of Mitch Morse… two years ago it was how much they loved Dugger and were going to get a “big nickel” to be a key cog in the defense. I just take his takes with a few grains of salt.
  2. In a perfect world? I think they need another guard to replace Feliciano. One more big body in the middle of the defense. I think they need a better weapon at running back.
  3. Gimme an OL or the big DT from Georgia, Jordan Davis. He’d be the Star replacement.
  4. Idk. He wasn’t bad. And Buscaglia isn’t terrible either. But their pods were so dry. Personally I would take: Joe Marino @ Locked on Bills Greg Tompsett & the Cover 1 Team Capaccio @ WGR Parino & Talbot The Rockpile Report Guys Nate Geary Bruce Nolan all above Fairburn Or Buscaglia for that matter. And with those above each producing about 14-16 hours of weekly listening content each week, aside from what any of them write. I just don’t really have time for them. * Again, not saying Fairburn or Buscaglia are terrible by any means but we have a wealth of talent in Bills coverage.
  5. I know people think it’s a lot, but they like to keep more linemen in the roster because they rotate. they keep more linebackers on the roster for special teams. they keep less DB’s because they have more on the practice squad (Lewis, Wildgoose, Griffith, Thomas), and the guys they do have rostered play 85%-100% of the snaps each game.
  6. 5-6? I would say 7-8 Diggs, Sanders, Beasley, Davis, McKenzie, Kumerow for sure, throw in Stevenson and Hodgins as well bc they have more upside.
  7. So basically, once you’ve had your ticket scanned, wear a mask, once you get to your seat (provided it’s not IN a box) take off the mask if your vaccinated?
  8. I think the Bills are where they are because they’ve avoided players like this. I hope he gets right and turns into a solid player for a long time, but I don’t think that’ll happen here. This would’ve been a prime Whaley deal.
  9. Could totally see Dallas doing something like this if they can work the cap out…
  10. Obviously 2020 was a historic offensive season for the Bills. As Allen continues to develop and surrounded by as many, if not more options than last year, it’s more likely he spreads the ball around. I believe they’ve talked about involving the running backs more in the pass game. If they get Ertz that’s another option in the pass game. Add in a guy like Hodgins making the team if they decide to keep an extra receiver? Plus swapping an injured Brown out for Sanders? Allen will basically have the following targets to choose from (2020 reception #’s in parenthesis) Diggs (127) Beasley (82) Sanders (61 w/ New Orleans) Singletary (38) Davis (35) Brown (33) OUT McKenzie (30) Knox (24) Moss (14) Kroft (12) Smith (4) Roberts (4) Gilliam (2) Kumerow/Yeldon/Neal/Allen (1 each) So... who sees a drop in their numbers from 2020?
  11. Rousseau is mine for the fact that everyone thinks he’s going to need time to develop. He was a guy I thought was going to go top-10, then he opted out. So he’s behind the 8-ball a bit but his size and relative athleticism is extremely intriguing and I think he can be an impact guy from week 1.
  12. Group1: Epenesa-Oliver-Rousseau-Hughes Group2: Obada-Butler-Basham-Addison i believe they’ll keep at least 5DE’s (Hughes, Addison, Epenesa, Rousseau, & Basham) and 4DT’s. Basham & Rousseau can slide inside on occasion, Oliver and Butler are the 3T’s while Star and Phillips are the 1T’s with Butler being able to do some 1T as well. Obada will be a borderline 53-man roster player
  13. High ceiling (i.e. athletic scores) small schools (chip on shoulder) good character (loves football/is coachable) seems these three stand out among day 1-2 picks
  14. Capable edge rusher. Ojulari/Paye are my two guys. I don’t think we go for Jaelan Phillips and I worry about Oweh panning out, but Buffalo does have a great staff capable Of coaching guys up.
  15. I’m not personally set either way. I think either, if done right, could be really cool. But both if done incorrectly, could really have a bad affect in the area as sell Overall my general belief is that the Bills with help from the State & County will renovate the current system. They should take a look at what the Chiefs and Packers have done in particular. Put the money into a well thought out renovation, while keeping its character and stay in Orchard Park. The amount of money it would cost to build a new stadium would involve... 1) buying current property and demolishing and setting up for said stadium. 2) Adding some type of new thruway and/or metro to and from the city to help alleviate traffic (it was already a cluster from a 20K Sabres game, imagine a 60K-80K football game in A November/December snow storm. 3) New stadium, new mentality. It will be about corporate boxes and suites, PSL’s, along with a general massive raise in ticket prices. 4) old stadium and property becomes what? A Bills hall of fame? Or does it just die there slowly... Im sure there’s more I haven’t listed. I just don’t believe it’s fiscally responsible for the team, state, county, tax payers, or ticket holders (which I am not), to build a new stadium downtown.
  16. Personally I think the opposite. I think they’re using free agency to cover holes, they’ll move up in the draft to get the guys they really like. Seems to be Beane’s MO . But I do agree no RB in round 1 please.
  17. I think this draft is really unpredictable. Rousseau could go 15 or 45. Same with guys like Phillips, Z.Collins, etc. This year is a total crapshoot.
  18. Gregory Rousseau please. length, athleticism, raw talent. He could be coached up here, but idk if they’d go for a guy so early with such limited tape.
  19. I just don’t see how he’s not perfect fit. He’s a less injury prone John Brown. Has history with Beasley. And a top-4 group of Diggs, Beasley Sanders & Davis is REALLY nice. Plus they’ll also bring up Hodgins who adds a completely different element, as well as possibly another tight end (Ertz), this offense could be just as good in 2021.
  20. I think this has his guaranteed money as his signing bonus. 4yr $44M deal and the lowest hit is $11.3M makes no sense. The signing bonus should be $7M total, instead of 24, so that $6M number each year should be $1.75M instead. His cap hit this year will be about $7M
  21. I think Butler should be rotating with Oliver at 3-tech honestly. It’s similar to Jordan Phillips. He was miscast as a 1-tech in our system despite his size
  22. I disagree with the OP. It’s meant to help teams that lose good players. Develop good players, lose them, and don’t replace them with other highly paid players, and then you’ll get comp picks
  23. I think it opens up the ability to be more multiple. With the Erhardt-Perkins offense Daboll runs, they can do a lot of the same concepts from multiple formations. Especially when you have two tight ends like Ertz & Knox, plus receivers like Beasley/Diggs/Davis. More 12 personnel would also likely make it easier to run more gap/man blocking than we were in 2020 with the amount of shot gun/empty back field/11 personnel we ran. I also believe if they got Ertz they would have an agreement lined up to do something with his contract to make 2021 an easier cap hit to swallow
