I share your concern for Butler and Phillips. I remember when mock drafts had Phillips going to us in round 1. I'll wager that we draft Star's replacement the year his contract runs out. I think Vita Vea is the best 1-Tech right now. Pass rush and OL seem like the 2 best investments for increasing our chances of winning a SB. Then CB.

I'm thinking it would be nice to have another season to be sure, but Josh played so well that I'm anxious to see a deal done to keep him in Buffalo until he retires. I wonder if signing him earlier would save us cap space going forward. My guess is that he will quickly sign a deal at a fair price. Buffalo loves JA and I think the feeling is mutual.

Agreed on pass rush. OL too. We need to get better in the trenches. Agree on Yeldon. He has always played well for us. I also think Breida's speed is an asset that Daboll will exploit. No one can catch him from behind.

It will be impossible to keep up with all the changes and fun to speculate on winners and losers. These 1 year deals can make the offseason brighter by addinf more FA's to the mix. D Williams is 1 good example.

Fotmer Bills TE Reuben Gant had 1 spectacular season and went right back to being bad after a season ending injury spoiled his career year.

I'm amazed he didn't work out well for Chan, but their loss is our gain. Blazing speed. I hope Daboll utilizes him correctly. He can score from anywhere on the field.

OL, DL, CB, TE. Git 'er done. I want a stud run blocker at LG. Is it too much to ask that we have a probowler or 2 on the OL? A great edge rusher would have a lot of impact and we would all like that CB2 situation to stop biting us from behind. We have no trouble finding WR's, after all. Get another very good outside CB already. Give us a probowler on the OL and the DL. Games can still be won and lost in trenches. I doubt we get all that, but if we nail 3 of 'em we're in great shape. Even 2 would be great. I hope some of the answers are already in place like Ford, D Jackson and Epinesa. This coming season one of those guys might be our consensus Most Improved Player and just take wing like Josh Allen did last year.

Clowney signs for 1 year and McDermott gets him to buy into the culture and excellent coaching. Clowney stays healthy and has a career year with 10 sacks and is key to a much tougher run defense than the Bills have had in a while. Lotulelei comes back looking like his early years and Oliver takes it up a notch. At least that's what my crystal ball has at the moment.

Beane needs to nail his top 2 picks and 1 other.

CB2 is also a big need. Slot Corner too.

That's certainly a possibility along with OL and Edge Rusher.

Mack upgrades the entire defense a notch or 2. Recent history tells us that defense still matters in the biggest games.

Trade for Von Miller. We need a serious edge rusher opposite Hughes. Edge rusher is such a key position and we keep bringing in guys like Addison and Trent Murphy. Let's get it right this time.

Addison, Jefferson and Butler should be released day 1 of FA. Period. We need to stop overpaying backups on some absurd notion that they are worthy of being starters. None of those guys should be starters.

Fewer and fewer people can afford to attend NFL games. Sooner or later that is going to factor into the cap situation.

OL is a huge need for us, but we don't have anyone on our OL that couldn't be replaced and this season, FA's will be getting offered a lot less than usual. Clear out the DL room of overpaid underperformers and sign at least 1 probowl caliber OL. I'd keep Williams even though he turned out to be pretty mediocre after much early season hype. Keep Feliciano as a backup as well as Ford, but I don't want to see either of them starting in 2021 unless injury forces them back into the lineup. Ford still has a chance to develop into a decent player, but he's still terrible at this point.

Here's mine. Hughes can still play. Oliver is OK, but still a disappointment considering where he was drafted. I mean, we should be talking about how Oliver is making the guys around him look better, not how he needs better players around him to reach his peak. The rest of the DL consists of backup caliber players. Addison, Jefferson and Butler are WAY overpaid and should all be released to make cap space. Murphy was overpaid as well and should be gone. Epinesa didn't impress. Beane needs to quit signing below average DL and paying them like solid starters. Move heaven and earth to get Von Miller in here and draft a 1-tech. Don't resign Lotulelei who is also overpaid.

He's still playing at a very high level, but I really doubt this would happen. He'll be in high demand and his exit from Buffalo surely left some bad blood. Still, he cleaned up his act, so I won't say it's impossible, but my money is on him signing elsewhere.

Decent route runner for a slow guy. Great hands. Great awareness. Not a good blocker.

I think Shady is done, but I will remember him as a high character guy who suffered a horrible year with an awful OL on a rebuilding team, then got cut. Never a complaint.
