We shouldn't have wasted 1st round picks on them. If the draft were held again today, they'd both still be there on day 2. They are pretty average starters. If it were up to me, I'd be working a trade for whatever I could get for them. When Edmunds is targetted by QB's, he gives up a 129-130 passer rating. That's an MVP rating. Oliver, in the regular season had 3 sacks, 6 TFL and 1 FF. Not very impressive for 1st rounders, especially Oliver who was picked at #9. I'm not sure we'd be able to get much in return and Beane's only really good pick in rounds 1 and 2 has been Allen.

And better CB's.

The Bills just can't play at their usual level against KC. They are playing scared.

We'll be able to score without much of a run game. We just won't be able to outscore the Chiefs if we become one dimensional. The OL needs to step up and create some space for Singletary. We also need Singletary to catch some underneath routes and make KC pay if they shadow Allen.

I just played the game on Madden with Mahomes healthy. I ran it in spectator mode using my corrected CPU sliders. 44-35 Bills.Singletary, Bass, Diggs and Edmunds played well. Beasley had 2 TD's. Trent Murphy was OK too. Norman had a pick. Josh had 2 TD's -- 1 by land and 1 by air. He also had 1 fumble (lost) and 1 pick.

Trent Williams! Not happening, but I'd love it. Move Williams inside. I don't think it would take crazy money to keep DW, but TW would cost a bundle.

I'm not going with Oliver, OP. I'm pretty disappointed in him so far. Last week it felt like Allen put the team on his back and carried them to victory so I'll guess that he'll do it again.

We need a Diggs for the defense, so to speak. We need that dominating presence on the DL that can be so disruptive. Exactly. The Colts OL is way better than ours.

They signed Buckner as a FA and we didn't. They have a highly disruptive force on their DL that makes life miserable for opposing offenses every week and we don't. Instead we have Lotulelei and Addison. I love what Beane has done (mostly), but a serious disruptor on the DL would put this team over the top.

Our defense looks like it's half asleep. It's clear that we need to build up in the trenches on O and on D.

Feliciano is below average and Boettger flat out stinks. They will be trying to block Buckner. If they can't, it will be a long day for Allen and Singletary.

I hope they don't overpay Edmunds. He's just a whisker above average, but he'll want to be paid like a probowler and he's not worth it.

I'd like an upgrade, but I don't think it's our biggest need right now. I'd go Edge/OLB, CB, G then TE. Our leading sackers are Klein and Addison (5) tied for 57th in the NFL. Imagine what a difference it would make having a guy like Watts or Donald chasing after Mahomes all day when we play the Chiefs. Forget what we did to Cam. It's how you handle guys like Rogers and Mahomes that matters.

No. Clearly not. Shady, Fred, Lynch... I could go on. He's OK, but give me Fred any day. I like Moss, but he doesn't even belong in this conversation. We have 2 pretty good RB's, but thus far neither is a serious probowl candidate.
