CBS Sports AFC East Offseason Rankings
MJS replied to AmishRifle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Dolphins could be worse. Fitzpatrick won 5 of their 10 wins last year and he is gone. Obviously he wasn't the only contributor to those wins, but the Dolphins coaching staff certainly didn't show any confidence in Tua last year. -
Excellent argument AGAINST drafting a 1st Round RB
MJS replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they are fine. I was excited for a big 2nd year from Singletary and it was a let down for sure. But I think he has the tools to be good. But neither of them will ever be great running backs. I think it is up to the line to block better and Daboll to improve the run scheme. -
Draft night expectations; Trade up * Stand pat * Trade back
MJS replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could see them trade up a few spots. Or trade down. The least likely thing for Beane to do is stay put. He is always wheelin' and dealin'. -
Bojo to Rams (update - traded to Packers)
MJS replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Probably two years of reasons. -
Hacked by the Russians again?

Miami considering trading down from 6
MJS replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Then they should not have traded back up to 6. -

Vegas over/under for Bills' wins in '21 opens at 10.5

Jets and Pats are going to be worse than that. -
Who's your pick for this years Madden cover?
MJS replied to Cson76's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hillis got injured? I thought he just sucked. Mahomes injury was not serious. -
Underrated QB. He had some really good years in KC and San Fran. I think people just got so used to calling him average or below average that they didn't realize that se of his seasons he was easily a top 10 QB when you look at the stats. And he was a 3 time pro bowler. I also think it was super lame that he got the boot after taking the 49ers to the Superbowl. San Fran should have stuck with him.

Going away from the tiger stripes as much as possible, I see. Probably a good choice. They look like the Browns now. The Bengals have had bad uniforms for most of their existence, so it makes sense that something new would look better.

NFL's top 25 players not in the Hall of Fame: #24 Steve Tasker
MJS replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tasker has been a finalist many times, and has been a nominee many more times than that. So the people who make the decisions disagree with you. They think he is at least a borderline hall of famer. To me, he changed the way special teams was played, brought prestige to special teams outside of returning, and helped solidify roster building to include special teams considerations. He had an impact on the history of the game. Many modern day special teamers including most of the great ones from the past few decades, revere him and there are countless people, many of them not even Bills fans, who believe he should be in the hall of fame. So, I respect your opinion, but I disagree, and there is a very large contingent of NFL fans, media, journalists, players, and coaches who think he should be in the hall of fame. In fact, I would have probably put Tasker in before Andre Reed. Because Tasker's contribution is more unique and he was the best at his job in the NFL for most of his career, and many consider him the best at his job ever in the history of the game. -
Why can't Brandon Beane get the defense right?
MJS replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
His combined 9 tackles for Seattle really moved the needle for them. On and off the practice squad and then a healthy scratch week 16. He is washed up. -
Dolphins Fan Take - Morning JA Discussion At Work
MJS replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If there is a fan base that should be convinced that Allen is a franchise QB, it should be Dolphins fans. Allen has destroyed that team routinely since entering the league. Heck, they should be more convinced than Bills fans. Against the Dolphins Allen is 5-1, and has scored 20 TD's and thrown 4 INT's. He owns them. -
Why can't Brandon Beane get the defense right?
MJS replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The focus has been on the offense since Beane has been here. Very little has been done on the defense apart from bringing in depth. Beane did bring in some guys on the dline last year with mixed results, but that's basically all. Dane Jackson, a 7th rounder, looks to be a steal. I think AJ Epenesa could be good. Who exactly are you so disappointed in on the defense? -
SI: The Unrivaled Arrival of Trevor Lawrence

Millennials are all in their late 20's and 30's. These are the post-millenials. -
Totally agree. I am so glad we have not signed him or traded for him the last few years he has been available and fans have been wanting him.

One of the most overrated players in recent memory. He hasn't been relevant in years.
