  1. It's also crazy that players do things to put their millions of dollars and fame at risk, yet sometimes they do. But, I'm sure most of them will come to, or already have come to, the same conclusion as you, that getting the vaccine will remove a lot of hassle from their profession.
  2. Ryan Bates. That dude can play. Every time he has stepped on the field he has done well. I fully expect him to put it together for another team and become a solid starter. And I'm ok with that. Having an abundance of talent that leaks onto other teams is a sign of a good franchise.
  3. I guarantee it was just the camera angle or whatever. Dawkins is a big man and I'm sure it is easy to find unflattering angles of him. I'd be willing to bet he is similar to previous seasons.
  4. I agree. I don't think he cracks the top 10 this year. But, you never know... If anyone thinks that Brady won't be top 5 after winning the Super Bowl, you live in another universe. Does Brady deserve top 5? Perhaps not, but he will absolutely be top 5.
  5. https://www.nfl.com/news/stefon-diggs-aiming-for-five-super-bowl-rings-in-his-climb-to-the-mountain-top "I haven't reached the mountain top yet. I always aim high. I want five Super Bowl rings," Diggs told DC Magazine in a recent interview. "I want the Hall of Fame. I want the glory. I believe I'm a champion. But, more so, I want to carry some people along with me. I want my brother, Trevon, to have a good career. I want to give my mom a place where she can be comfortable. I want to give people jobs. I want to do more for D.C., my city. The mountain top isn't just for football; it's for life in general. The more people I can help -- that's when I'll look back and know I made a difference." Let's hope his wish comes true!
  6. Well, you are also more likely to have your eye poked out by a yellow penalty flag if you don't have a visor. So...
  7. I'm not talking just about the offensive scheme. I'm talking about the entire New England system, including their approach to bringing in talent.
  8. Absolutely. They ran a system. They found guys who would fit in the system and do it the same. When players left, they found guys to fit the exact same role in the exact same way. No room for freestyling there.
  9. Brady? No, he would say do everything exactly by the book, exactly the same every single time. Do not think for yourself, just run the play. Let me think for you. And there is no such thing as Brady not being a dick.
  10. It's a group that came out really strong but has not really kept it up in recent years. OBJ was just used really well when with the Giants. They lined him up all over the place and he got a ton of targets. He hasn't been that great in Cleveland. 2010 was a pretty dang good class, especially if Antonio Brown would have kept his head on his shoulders. But yeah, I think it is 1996. Eric Moulds was my favorite player growing up.
  11. As far as benefiting the team, why trade a top 5 QB for another top 5 QB even if he is better? Why not trade, say, Dawson Knox for Travis Kelce, or Mario Addison for Khalil Mack or TJ Watt? You have a chance to majorly upgrade the team. Allen is one of the strengths of the team, so take a weakness and make it a strength by focusing on another position.
  12. I do play videogames but I had no idea what Twitch was. It's hard for me to imagine enjoying watching other people play video games. But, I do enjoy watching other people play football, so I guess it's not too strange... Someone made a comment about how it was not likely Diggs because his Twitch name was related to the Vikings. That actually adds MORE credence to the story, in my opinion. Who would be bothered to change a screen name?
  13. Well, Belichick did promise him...
  14. He won the Heisman trophy, won two national championships, was a 2x First-team All-American, and was a 2x SEC Player of the Year, and... was out of the NFL after just 3 seasons (apart from a couple of off-season tryouts for a couple teams). This is after going 8-6 as a starter, having a 17:9 TD to Int ratio, and winning a playoff game. Plus he had 6 comeback wins and 6 game winning drives in just those few starts. I would say he has been afforded a normal opportunity given his wild success as a college QB. He is clearly a gifted athlete and has shown that even at the NFL level. I don't think Tebow is a good QB. He just simply isn't a good passer of the football. But to act like he has received special treatment and has been given opportunities he doesn't deserve is just absolutely ridiculous to claim. He was only in the league for 3 seasons. He played some minor league baseball. Are you kidding me?
  15. But can they really count in New Jersey?
  16. I would be willing to bet that conservative coaching is correlated more with success than aggressiveness...
  17. Dumb take, in my opinion.
  18. The Bills should be favored against the Saints. They don't have Drew Brees anymore. They had to gut a lot of their team to get under the cap. Their defense is not going to be as good as it was. And the Bills should probably be favored, as of now, in all of their games except KC and TB. Now, obviously things can change...
  19. Not a fan of ESPN. But a broken clock is right twice a day.
  20. I really wish we still had the "confused" reaction. That post is a perfect candidate.
  21. Good for him. Hope it turns out well for him.
  22. Marino is a douche.
  23. I do think that Bills fans are hyper sensitive to what the Chiefs do right now. Some have a bit of an inferiority complex.
