  1. Roman is seriously limited in his ability to scheme and call passing plays. No thanks. Their defense was on IR.
  2. Chiefs fans are getting riled up about this?
  3. I don't see why anyone needed to take a bullet. The Ravens haven't been under fire. Everyone understands that they lost like their whole team to injury. Harbaugh is an excellent coach. He is one of the top coaches in the league. I'm thinking this firing is more complicated than just chopping someone because they missed the playoffs. Maybe he didn't see eye to eye, maybe there was some internal strife, etc.
  4. Because people don't want to change their opinion about Josh Allen and the Bills.
  5. Well, we'll have a good working relationship with the Giants now. Expect more trades with the Giants.
  6. Yep. And it's easy these days to do it. All you have to do is say they have a mental health issue and everything is alright. There doesn't even have to be evidence of it. Something goes wrong? Mental health. All forgiven.
  7. Dude, there were tons of fans that were calling for Oliver to get released when that happened. Many of us were saying that we just have to wait to see how things turn out, but go look. There were a ton of vocal people advocating for his release. Nobody really knew about Dodson. He was not on anyone's radar because he was just a body. Undrafted and never played.
  8. Yeah, the players seem to love answering his questions in press conferences, so I'll give him that, but this is a bad look for sure. Basic stuff. The teams we face are set by the end of the regular season when all of the divisional rankings are finalized. We already know who the opponents are, just not the order of the games. It's not a mystery how the schedule works. It's a rotating schedule with a few of the games determined by divisional standings. The 17th game is a rotating game based on divisional standings as well.
  9. Cincy. Tennessee has beaten the Bills the last couple of years. Obviously, I think we could beat them, but I'd rather face a team that we didn't lose to the last two times we faced them.
  10. There's no way any part of the schedule is decided yet. They run tons of simulations through their algorithm after all the teams have made their specific schedule requests (lumping west coast games together, dates their stadium won't be available, etc.). They work on it right up until the schedule is released. Read the thread where Sal goes into why Hawkins is wrong.
  11. I think it is as simple as him not being funny. I think he used to be more funny on the Colbert Report, but since he switched to late night he has not been funny. Maybe some don't like his politically charged nature, but for me it just comes down to humor. Guess I don't mesh with his. I find comedians on both sides of the political spectrum to be funny, but not him.
  12. I think the big difference between the two is in their straight line speed, but both players have insanely fast acceleration and twitchiness.
  13. Do you tell them that we just paid him to come play here and that their team could have done the same if they wanted him? No theft involved.
  14. People buy season tickets often knowing that they can make many of the games, but maybe they have a conflict for a couple of the games. Or they buy more tickets than they need for friends and family to come with them but that doesn't always work out, so they need to sell some tickets for some games. It's not always because you are just trying to make money or are disloyal to your team. Trying to manufacture a loyal fan base that doesn't sell their tickets is foolhardy. It's not who their fan base is and trying to force them to be that way is not going to work. They'll just have much fewer people willing to pay for season tickets.
  15. We'll have some fans angry at the team and calling for some drastic changes if the Bills don't win the Superbowl this year, but those are the types that find something to be angry at no matter what. Even if we win it they will find something to complain about. I really want a Superbowl and I understand that it is a tremendous feat. It's going to take everything the team has, and if they don't get it done they have next year to try again. That's how it works. I picked the Saints to go to the Superbowl for like 3 straight years a couple years ago. With Brees, Kamara, Thomas, and a defense that was finally good, I thought they were the best team in the NFC. And though they got close, they never got there. It's freakin hard.
  16. Wow. Talk about a crybaby move. And they are screwing over any fans who want to sell tickets. There's a difference between not doing it because you choose to and not doing it because you can't.
  17. Huh? What are we appreciating them for? Just for sucking?
  18. The only chance to beat Josh Allen is to drop into coverage and get pressure with four rushing. You have to have excellent discipline on defense. Josh usually evades the first rusher, so you have to get pressure with two or more players. Even then, you have to kind of hope Allen is having one of his off days. The story is kind of the same with Mahomes, actually, but Mahomes is not the threat that Allen is on the ground. Mahomes benefits from really good play calling and creativity on offense too, though, so both guys are tough to handle. You don't blitz them much, though, and you don't try too much man coverage.
  19. Sound like they are due for a punt! Just kidding
  20. Ok, so do you think that last year was a complete failure? Do you think that it provided nothing for the team and the players as far as experience and drive for this year? I think one of the reasons the Bills have a good shot of going to and winning the super bowl BECAUSE of their experience last year losing in the championship game. They are more battle tested now. Even the losses they took in the regular season have been good experience for overcoming games like that in the future. Allen is a young QB. This is all helping him. If we don't win this year, that doesn't mean they can't go win it next year, or the year after, or every year for the rest of his career.
  21. Everyone has been talking about it.
  22. Ok, so what will you do if they don't win a Superbowl this year? There are no excuses, so does that mean you will go root for another team? I don't understand the point of this whole sentiment. It seems more like you are threatening the team to win the Superbowl or... you are going to be really disappointed! That will show them!
  23. If you are tired, take a break from the sport. And by the way, Josh Allen is the 18th highest paid player in 2022. And even when his bigger contract kicks in in 2023, he is still only the 6th highest paid player.
