Jordan's Bulls lost to the Pistons twice in the playoffs
MJS replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because I don't think it is a sane wish to want your team to be blown out rather than to lose in overtime. Just my opinion. I want to see the Bills be competitive in every single game they ever play. I don't ever want to see them be blown out. Not once. Not ever. -
Been thinking about the final 13 seconds. Squib it, I get that. Even if you don't, couldn't you just press every receiver and just grab them and tackle them so they can't run their routes? Yes, you get called for holding and the Chiefs get 5 yards, but time ticks off the clock. Next play, do the same thing. More time ticks off. Who cares if you give them 5 yards two or three times? The time will run out. Keep the safeties deep if you want to protect in case Mahomes scrambles or a running back gets it. Anyways, I think the defensive coaches did not think through this situation properly. They should have never gone to a prevent defense.

I think that is insane, personally. The Bills were one play away from winning. They can retool with a lot of confidence next year. If they got blown out there would be no hope for next season. -

I mean, getting blown out is 10 times worse. This was a good game that either team could have won. -
It's not debatable after tonight, I think. He just needs to put in the years and he will overtake every franchise record. And I do believe he will get this team a Superbowl win.
-
You have to expect that. If you can't handle it you should probably stay off for a couple of days. I often do take a hiatus for a day or two after a loss. It's a good decision, usually.
-
Probably if he goes 3 seasons without making the playoffs you start thinking about it.

Oliver was very disruptive tonight. He has been developing nicely.

Yeah, let's see if Rex Ryan is available. A truly idiotic take, Ethan.

Fix the OT Rule for Playoff Games--That was Stupid
MJS replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall
Might be the first time I ever agreed with you. -
This is going to be a rough off-season here... Yeah, we lost an overtime game to a dynasty Chiefs team. It happens. Try again next year.
-
Getting an elite pass rusher who finishes and gets sacks would be a good start. Easier said than done, though. Let Hughes and Addison walk, for sure. Oliver and Phillips developed nicely down the stretch and they can still improve. White will be back next year. I think this game was lost due to some blunders rather than not having the talent. Obviously we have the talent to hang with the Chiefs. Squib that kick and don't play a horrible prevent defense and the Bills could have won that. Heck, win the coin toss in overtime and Josh would have driven the field to win it.

I honestly love the overtime rules. Don't turn it into that college crap that isn't even football. If you want to win, go play defense. Sucks that our defense couldn't stop them, but you don't change the rules just because you get beat. -
You take steps to get better and try again next year.

Great performance. He has a bright future. Reload and get back at it next year.

Tough loss. I hate the Chiefs. What a game by Josh Allen. Such a warrior and such a clutch player. Go get em next year, boys.

Based on he never has. He runs it sometimes but he can't do that all game. He'll get frustrated if he can't throw it. -

Exactly. I'll take some Mahomes scrambling over leaving Kelce and Hill open. Mahomes will get hit a lot. I don't think he can do it all game. Need to adjust on the defensive line, though. -

Hilarious what they used to allow in children's cartoons. -

Chiefs can score 24 in like 5 minutes. Better make it 34. -

They wanted to blitz. They should have dropped into coverage. -
Yes he is. Yes I do. He is a loser person. Great at football, though.

Bills cut squats from their workouts during the season
MJS replied to JPL7's topic in The Stadium Wall
I trust their knowledge on this kind of stuff. And it makes sense to me. Squats can be dangerous and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the off the field injuries that happen during workouts that we hear about are due to squats.
