Seriously. Josh Allen does more for his team than literally any other QB in the league. He is asked to do more than any other QB. Such an ignorant statement. The success of the offense is squarely on his shoulders unlike any QB we have probably ever seen in the game. I know the coaching staff and the GM are good and have done a good job in their respective realms, but you can say the exact same thing about Mahomes in KC, and they have better coaching than the Bills. Anyway, he is an idiot. I don't know why he is keeps digging the hole deeper and deeper, but he is just plain wrong about Josh Allen and almost everyone disagrees with him now.

Everyone already expects them to make the Superbowl and views the Bills at having one of the most talented rosters in the NFL, so McDermott would have to match and exceed those expectations. The only way to really do that is to have basically a historic season stats wise and only lose like a single game. McDermott deserved that award back in 2017 and probably 2020 as well.

Their talent is overrated. They don't underachieve, people just think they are better than they actually are. They are simply a fringe playoff team and nothing more.

They miss the playoffs plenty too.

Buffalo Bills’ Jordan Poyer named best safety in NFL
MJS replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
It usually is, though. Brady is a big exception to the rule, really. For most guys, getting a big contract is important to them for many different reasons, but yes, you do sometimes see players prioritize other things. -
That was all I knew as a fan. Any Bills fan under 35 is probably in a pretty similar boat. Glad we finally have a good team to root for.

Buffalo Bills’ Jordan Poyer named best safety in NFL
MJS replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think a big part of contracts is just the "respect" component. What you get offered shows how a team values you. If you think you are a top player in the league at your position, you want to be valued that way by the organization you are playing for, and your contract is a direct representation of that. It's not just about the money, of course, but top players feel that they have earned a big contract and getting offered less is disrespectful. So yeah, it isn't always just about securing their future financially (despite so many players bringing up the "feeding our families" crap), but most players go where teams value them the most based on the contracts that they offer. -
Buffalo Bills’ Jordan Poyer named best safety in NFL

Well, he isn't the best safety in the NFL. Him and Hyde are both top 10, though. What a great duo. I do hope the Bills work out an extension for him, but with both of them over 30, we probably only have a couple more years of them in Buffalo. -
Baker Mayfield says goodbye to Cleveland (update - Traded to Panthers)
MJS replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Conditional 5th. Wow. That is good value. Mayfield is a decent QB. He can help take you to the playoffs. He can win playoff games. The Browns are just looking worse and worse. What a dumpster fire organization. -
Funny that the picture quality is worse for these 90's games than the picture quality for some of the 60's and 70's games people are posting. I wonder why the quality is so much worse.

Locked on Bills Podcast: A Case for Tremaine Edmunds
MJS replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hasn't everything that can be said about Edmunds been said a million times over? Nobody is breaking any new ground here. Just have to wait and see what happens. -
He forgot some important things that most living creatures need, like a head and some legs.
-
Just here. I also occasionally go to NFL.com. I also listen to a few podcasts daily: Cover1, Locked On Bills, and sometimes One Bills Live. That gets me all the news I need. I am not ever really worried about the day to day stuff anyway. If it's important, it will show up in one of those sources.
-
I guess I am not too concerned either way. If the Bills sign him, they must think he is doing a good job. If they don't, they may think he is too expensive or want an upgrade. Fine. Either way, the Bills are a really good team. This team's fate rests on other shoulders, mostly Josh Allen's.

Rumors of her demise seem to have been greatly exaggerated.

Young Guys: Josh Allen Tre White Chris Pratt Old Guys: Thurman Thomas Bruce Smith Tom Hanks

He started sucking before he had time away from football. In fact, he had been benched for Blaine Gabbert. There are many teams who would do just about anything to get a good QB, including breaking the rules, signing convicted felons, etc. The issue is not just his "activism", it's that he also is not a good QB.

They will likely all be backup rotational players, although it would not be super surprising to see one or two of them cut, but I kinda doubt it.

Trevor Lawrence asked to be paid in Crypto currency
MJS replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
It'll go back up. -
I see where you are coming from, but it just wasn't any old dirty hit. It's one of the worst dirty hits many of us have ever seen. And the fact that it happened after the play was over, and to an unsuspecting victim laying face down on the ground, makes it even worse. I'm pretty much over it, so whatever. But this wasn't just your run-of-the-mill dirty hit.
-
Actually it is a misleading thread title. There are no actual rumors.
-
Jerry Rice. I don't think his stats will ever be eclipsed by another receiver, and he did it in an era when defenders could actually play defense.
-
He sucked. That's on him. He obviously didn't have what it took mentally. Physical tools don't matter if you don't have the intangibles as a QB.
