These play calls are just not good enough. -

Defender made a good tackle, though. -

Weird. Couldn't Henry have just reached out across the goal line as he was going down on that two point try? The ball was like two inches short. -

Bengals were playing scared on that last drive. Run it twice, then check down on 3rd and long. They aren't going to win like that. -
Yeah, my post was a split response between two posts. First I responded to how crazy it was that Bart Starr had such a high passer rating back then. My second reply was in regards to people crapping on Allen for not winning a road playoff game.

Why in the world would you want him to? He has proven countless times that he is a liability. Hyde can catch the punts and give the ball to the offense.

I hate Tennessee. I just want to see them lose. -
I think the bad thing about this is them withholding your payout unless you provide them your social security number. If they need your social to send the 1099, they need to require that up front before any transaction or before you use their service.

Holy cow, Bart Starr?! Man ahead of his time. Didn't know they had passer ratings that high back then when defenders were allowed to murder everyone. People are taking the facts and making them more meaningful than they actually are. It's two games. It's an incredibly small sample size and doesn't mean a thing. Allen didn't lose because they were on the road. That had nothing to do with those losses. The team lost because of specific blunders in the Houston game and because Kansas City was a superior team. There's no reason to believe that the outcome would have been different if they played in a different stadium.

The players they have invested big money in are flashy, individual stats guys who don't execute when it really matters. I don't see that changing no matter who the coach is. But yes, they probably need a better coach.

They were the same before McCarthy and they will be the same after he is gone.

Our OL , Run & Pass Games are playing phenomenal. KC is Easy Work

Of course I do. The comment was that the Chiefs only beat teams with bad QB's, which is an absurd statement. -

Did we have a dog turd QB last season when they beat us twice? I don't get it. -
We've moved past the "splash signings in free agency" phase for this team. We need to sign value, under the radar free agents, draft well, and develop talent for the future while maintaining the team that we have. Josh's contract is going to kick in soon and we can't have a bunch of overpriced free agents on the books.

I guess we're supposed to bring sweet potatoes to games now?

Chiefs fans are getting riled up about this? -
I don't see why anyone needed to take a bullet. The Ravens haven't been under fire. Everyone understands that they lost like their whole team to injury. Harbaugh is an excellent coach. He is one of the top coaches in the league. I'm thinking this firing is more complicated than just chopping someone because they missed the playoffs. Maybe he didn't see eye to eye, maybe there was some internal strife, etc.

Yep. And it's easy these days to do it. All you have to do is say they have a mental health issue and everything is alright. There doesn't even have to be evidence of it. Something goes wrong? Mental health. All forgiven.

Dude, there were tons of fans that were calling for Oliver to get released when that happened. Many of us were saying that we just have to wait to see how things turn out, but go look. There were a ton of vocal people advocating for his release. Nobody really knew about Dodson. He was not on anyone's radar because he was just a body. Undrafted and never played.
-
Yeah, the players seem to love answering his questions in press conferences, so I'll give him that, but this is a bad look for sure. Basic stuff. The teams we face are set by the end of the regular season when all of the divisional rankings are finalized. We already know who the opponents are, just not the order of the games. It's not a mystery how the schedule works. It's a rotating schedule with a few of the games determined by divisional standings. The 17th game is a rotating game based on divisional standings as well.

Cincy. Tennessee has beaten the Bills the last couple of years. Obviously, I think we could beat them, but I'd rather face a team that we didn't lose to the last two times we faced them.

There's no way any part of the schedule is decided yet. They run tons of simulations through their algorithm after all the teams have made their specific schedule requests (lumping west coast games together, dates their stadium won't be available, etc.). They work on it right up until the schedule is released. Read the thread where Sal goes into why Hawkins is wrong.
