Well, I think the real issue is people making a big deal about a tenth of a second difference between some of these guys. A 4.5 is not much different than a 4.4. And you are never just running in a straight line on a football field anyway. You are fighting off press coverage, running routes, reading the zones, hand fighting with defenders, etc. So, yeah, a 4.3 is faster than a 4.4, a little, but it is not significantly faster in field results and there are countless other factors to consider with deep ball success. I think the #1 and #2 attributes are route running and ball tracking. I played some receiver growing up and tracking the deep ball was very difficult for me. It's a real skill.

But it did go over the post, so it's not a doink.

It's the rule.
-
That's the rule. The ball can pass over the upright and count as good.

Early Bills/Chiefs line: Bills +1(UPDATE: Now Bills -3 post KC/LV Game)

Nah, all you need to do is blame Edmunds and McDermott for every bad thing, and praise Allen and Beane for every good thing. -
Really? I don't think you can compare them like that. Kelly threw for 4 TD's in a single half too, you know, and he played in an era where defenders could actually hit the QB. And he got the team to 4 superbowls... Allen is special. Kelly was special. I think Allen will supplant Kelly as the best QB in franchise history, but he has a ways to go still.

Hey, we didn't win a close game this week. That's bad.

Do we all see what Daboll is able to do with a real NFL running back?

Barkley is finally healthy. -
Because he worked in insurance?
-
Yeah, that's why he signed Cam Newton, right? Ridiculous take.

Really interesting Von said that if Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs weren't in Buffalo, there would really be no reason for him to come to Buffalo. Just interesting because those are offensive players and you sometimes think that players focus more on the guys on their side of the ball, but Von seems to really have a whole team perspective and really loves developing relationships with teammates, especially those elite guys like Josh and Stefon.

So I guess he got his wish to get out of Seattle, got paid, and now he just doesn't really care anymore? Is that the issue?

You fail to score a TD for nearly 5 quarters, your offense has been putrid all night, and somehow you find the confidence to go for the TD in that spot. Pretty stupid.

Singletary was close to fumbling with seconds remaining

Great job by him holding onto the ball and not fumbling it. -
This game is like watching paint dry.

Bills and Tavon Austin mutually part ways

Practice squad players are FREE to sign with any team. The team can't get in the way of a player finding another home when they are on the practice squad. This is what I don't get. Obviously, another team has not been interested enough in signing him, so why leave without another opportunity, essentially burning a bridge with the organization who at least wants you around and is paying you? He will probably sign to another team's practice squad, which is no different than his situation was here. Good riddance, honestly. -
Tre is the #1 corner. The rest of the guys file in behind him in whatever order the coaches decide. I'm guessing Jackson and Elam will split time. Benford is hurt and won't be rushed back. If Benford transitions to safety it won't be mid-season.

The thing that's bad about Schopp is he spends as much time as possible talking about anything but the Buffalo Bills. He goes on long tangents about really stupid things. He'll talk about players from other teams. He'll talk about betting and fantasy. I really feel like he barely cares about the Bills. He even admitted one time to not actually watching the Bills game he was supposedly supposed to be talking about. His apathy comes through, and it doesn't do anything for him. Heck, he doesn't even seem to enjoy doing what he does, especially when he has to listen to callers. He is just a guy collecting his paycheck. Bulldog (why does he call himself something so stupid?) is just a random guy to be there talking about stuff with Schopp. Doesn't have a good voice for radio. Doesn't provide any worthwhile analysis or insight. Schopp at least has a decent radio voice. So yeah, I find their show boring and depressing. I see no point to it. I wonder how they haven't been replaced yet.

Even if he was just as good at safety as he is as corner, you still keep him at corner. Corner is a more important position and Tre White is an all-pro corner.
