Apparently he's a meth head, anit-mask/anit-vaxx, child diddler, religious nut (according to Chiefs fans). I'm surprised he's allowed in the stadium lol

***Note: Just a "Thank You" / Appreciation / Show Some Love Thread in Honor of Emmanuel Sanders*** I think it's time we come together as a family to fully embrace Mr. Sanders. There were a lot of people dismissing him early on, doubting his ability at his age, or saying he's taking away playing time from real Bills like Gabe Davis. I think a lot of this has to do with Sanders being around for so long & having established himself outside of the Bills organization. We embraced Beasley & Diggs because they had their best seasons as Bills & were key players in elevating our homegrown QB. Sanders was seen as a temp guy who could possibly contribute as a role-player while the building block pieces did the leg-work. Sorry, but it didn't turn out that way. Emmanuel Sanders hasn't been playing like a 3rd or 4th option, he's been WR 1-B to Diggs 1-A. And it's not like he's the slot or underneath guy, he's going deep. A lot of people figured because he was older, he probably lost a step. Definitely not true at all, as he's averaging the highest yards per reception of any guy on the team with 10+ receptions. Diggs - 28 receptions, 374 yards, 13.4 average, 1 TD Sanders - 19 receptions, 322 yards, 16.9 average, 4 TD's Knox - 18 receptions, 261 yards, 14.5 average, 5 TD's I threw Knox's stats in there just to bring it a bit more into context. He's having a career year and been instrumental in our success. He's 27 yards shy of his total last year, already matched his career TD total in just 5 games, and is tied for 2nd in the league with 5 receiving TD's. He's getting a TON of praise & deservedly so. Sanders has 1 less TD (tied with people like Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, Gronk, Mike Evans for 6th) & 60 more yards on 1 more reception. The guy has EARNED that play time & snap count. Diggs' numbers might drop a bit, but now offenses that try to focus or double Diggs are getting punished by Sanders & Knox. Beasley was always a reliable target & solid underneath when teams focused Diggs, but now they STILL risk getting their top blown off deep if they put too much of an emphasis on locking Diggs up. And talk about a guy willing to go after a ball & lay it all out to make a catch. He can still make highlight reel plays any time you throw his direction. The low dive/slide in the endzone, that fingertip grab deep down the left sideline (both against WFT) or the 2 TD's last night, the guy is clutch. I'm not saying we should ignore Gabe Davis, but just saying Sanders EARNED his targets. We may have had our own ideas of how we wanted this season to play out, but Sanders decided his play would do the talking & he won't be kept off the field. Until the guy wants to hang up the cleats, I'm proud to have him on the Bills. Maybe he can kick it a while longer & retire with us after winning another ring

In the words of Jeff Van Gundy - "If I'm L'Jarius Sneed, I'm naming my first son Josh Allen." *For those that don't get my corny reference -

I remember when Andre Reed was upset about the offense not really putting much of a focus on him, having a reduced role, and seeing the team succeed without him as the number one. But I don't think this is the same thing. Even if he says a lot of dumb things on Twitter & spreads a bunch of misinformation, he doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who is "me, me, me!" or gets upset in the face of a huge win just because he didn't get more personal accolades. He probably wants to contribute more, sure, but I doubt he'd cause drama over it. Allen only had 15 completed passes all night, so how many receptions could anyone really have? You've got Diggs, Beasley, Knox, Sanders, Davis, Singletary & Moss, so that's already 7 people r1ight there. If you give each of them 2 receptions, and you're nearly at the total for the entire game (I know that's not the real numbers, just an example). Point is, if Allen was distributing evenly, nobody really could get a huge workload & focus. It was a team effort, through & through. So yeah, it's more likely off the field stuff that resulted in his Twitter being deactivated. He almost surely got talked to about his comments regarding vaccines/Bills fans booing him. Unfortunately, he KNOWS deactivating his Twitter makes it a story in itself. Instead of just stopping the Tweets, he burned it all down so people would promptly notice & start talking. Either way, I still love the guy as a player & hope he sticks around. I think you mean "going against the facts have consequences." I've never seen Twitter censor anyone for anything other than hate speech or deliberately spreading misinformation. In fact, Twitter didn't even do anything about Beasley. He did it himself.

As much as the players have improved, so has McDermott. Seriously, he hasn't just been the same guy since day one. The man is getting better each year. Remember when we kept failing to adjust after half & would blow leads/do nothing at all in the 3rd quarter? It was like we prepared for the first half of football, then took a nap at half time. We ended up in close games that we were otherwise winning, relying on last minute 4th quarter pushes to finally do something. Now the Bills are also making those adjustments & maintaining their leads, putting up even more points in the 2nd half & not taking their foot off the gas. McDermott has the team prepared & invested. Beautiful thing to watch! Oh, and let's not forget how good Daboll & Frazier have been either. They too have a huge hand in how well this team is operating at the moment.

Best part about this game is it should be an amazing confidence booster to every single man in that locker room. You beat the 2 time AFC champs in their home stadium in a "must-win" game for THEM. Last year you beat the Ravens in the playoffs, now the Chiefs, and next week we get the Titans. Beat them, and you pretty much have proven to yourselves that you can adapt & handle any of the top teams in your conference (aside from the Browns).

Bills do something no team since 1954 has done...

Didn't they also break the record for most consecutive games leading going into halftime as well? Awesome seeing us set POSITIVE records again lol -

Game Balls, Bills v. Chefs, Week 5, 10/10/21
BigDingus replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel like we need to start embracing Emmanuel Sanders more. Some people on here were complaining about him early on, saying he's taking away targets from better guys or should be replaced with Gabe Davis. The guy has EARNED his spot on the roster & is still a legit threat. I absolutely love his game! -

Can't wait to hear Nick Wright tomorrow! So far the Chiefs only have 20 points, so is he going to compare Patrick Mahomes to Taylor Heinicke now? I mean at least Heinicke put up 21, so is he going to do dumb comparisons for QB's not named Josh Allen? -

I hate our luck. Seriously, I can't remember the last time rain helped the Bills.
