  1. 100% true. Schedules can look "easy," on paper, but it's still the NFL & teams caught sleeping can get punished. And unlike the NFC which has a pretty clear leader in every division (with 2 good teams in the West), the AFC is a bit more crowded & competitive. No 6 win teams, 2 divisions where everyone is still in the mix for division crown, and some young teams who could be dangerous any given Sunday.
  2. This year has had some weird games man... It's hard to tell the hierarchy of teams in the AFC. Titans destroying the Chiefs (after barely winning last week), Ravens blown out by Bengals (after just week killing the Chargers)... It's all up in the air at this point. Wild!
  3. I'm just impressed the score is 5 - 3 in the Giants vs Panthers game... That's not a score you see often. I hope neither scores again & the game just ends with that 😂
  4. I know, if Tyrod was still QB these guys would be both be the team leaders in receptions & yards! Bench Josh, trade for Tyrod, and let's get the RBs their catches dammit!
  5. And there I am, as he kneels down I take my chance, run over to his table, and drop an elbow through it & all the dinner plates.... just to show my Bills Mafia dedication! I'm sure he'll appreciate my commitment to his big moment.
  6. With only 1 first round bye now, it's more important than it's ever been. People can say they worry about the bye making you rusty or come out the gate a bit slow, but after a 17 game season, we have no idea what kind of shape our players will be in or who's recovering from injury. I think the players would take it 10/10 times if given the chance, and I trust this coaching staff will have them prepared without losing momentum.
  7. Shameless bump, just because I was busy the past few days & noticed a freaking "Emanuel Sanders - is What Was Lost Worth the Gain ?" thread on the first page! Heeeeelllll no. It's locked now, but let this be a reminder I will come at ya any time I see that nonsense again! Embrace Emmanuel Sanders! 😁
  8. But what are his political stances? I need to know before I can express positive or negative emotions about this. 😉 /s
  9. Eleventy Seven. Final answer.
  10. I thought it was the year Brady started suspended (due to deflate gate), with Jimmy G starting a couple games (think he was 2-0), and Brissett starting a couple games, with one being the loss to Buffalo.
  11. While I agree Rob did enough & wasn't the biggest issue, do I think he could go on to win 2 more playoff games on the road after that & make the Super Bowl? No chance. I don't care what people think of Rob Johnson, there's a reason teams don't bench their season-long starter who's healthy for the playoffs. I don't blame him for the loss, but there's just no way I can see him string together 3 straight wins against the AFC's best, all on the road.
  12. I mean, it sucks that he's probably going to KC... BUT, would you rather have KC's defense + him or our defense without him? I'm gonna go with the latter
  13. TECHNICALLY.... He's a LB. I think it's ok to have a LB with a girl's name, at least in 2021.
  14. It's not even worth returning anymore unless you absolutely have to. On kickoffs, better to just get the touchback. On punts, better to fair catch if you aren't putting the team in abysmal position or also get the touchback. Anything else just results in a flag & being set further back somehow. Maybe on kick returns they should just have 1 ref on each side, and make all the others cover their eyes. Anything blatant enough to be caught by the only 2 guys out there is fine 😄
  15. That's not the other angle from the same shot above. You can clearly see the position of his hands & the ball are completely different. Yeah, it's another angle, but not of the original shot you posted.
  16. I find it comforting (and amusing), that we Bills fans are even talking about the 1 seed & a first round bye in the first place! 🤣 Remember when we all nearly died of pure joy watching some ginger from another team secure the Bills a lowly wildcard appearance?!
  17. I was thinking how spoiled we are about playoff appearances. We only just finished week 6, but people are more concerned with how this loss might potentially affect home field advantage in the AFC playoff picture. THINK ABOUT THAT! Us Bills fans, who only recently were sweating it out hoping to just have a puncher's chance to even be relevant in December... and would've punted a kitten for just a one & done playoff appearance, are now more concerned with home field advantage throughout the entire post season... in week 6! Playoffs? Don't talk about... Playoffs?! We're talking first round byes, home field throughout, and a Super Bowl baby! 😁
  18. I 100% agree. I only bring up the credit we've earned in that any other time, we'd have still dropped down the ladder pretty far. Instead, for example, ESPN had us drop from #1 to #2, meanwhile the Ravens dominate the 4-1 Chargers who everyone was labelling a contender, and they only jumped from #8 to #6. The excuses about the Titans injury-plagued roster, depleted secondary, awful pass protection & having just lost to the Jets would normally have a team be questioned way more. Traditional favorites like the Cowboys, Patriots, Chiefs, Steelers, etc. get the pass, no us. It's something Bills fans would lament, talk crap about the bias, and call out as small market hate. But I think this proves the Bills are one of those teams that is going to get the benefit of the doubt now. We're going to often be the team that gets talked about in a loss 10 times more than the team that won. If the Bills lose, the story will often be about how they "beat themselves" or did something wrong, not what the other team did well. It's a weird feeling, but the Bills earned it.
  19. On the bright side, the Bills have enough credit in the bank now that the media is generally giving us a pass lol I thought I wouldn't be able to watch or listen to sports talk this week, but damn near everyone is giving us a pass & saying we're still the top team in the AFC (though some would argue Baltimore deserves that nod). Just hoping we can prove that to be true & go on a tear, starting with Miami in 2 weeks. The biggest issue I have with the game is how it could affect home field advantage, but it's still too early to tell. Then again, I still feel weird looking forward to playoffs at all... It wasn't that long ago guys 🤣
  20. Problem was you're then leaving it up to a coin toss. If Titans win the toss, they're scoring. We saw drive after drive as they easily matched down the field. Seems like McDermott thought it was better to control your own destiny. Don't leave it up to chance. I don't disagree with the call considering how short the distance was.
  21. I only caught from the 2nd quarter on, so probably why I didn't know about the good stuff lol
  22. Exactly. Aside from the 2nd to last drive where he kept going deep, he spread the ball out & stayed composed, even after getting harassed the entire 1st half. Sure, he may have thrown a handful of bad ones, but overall he did really well.
  23. Barely any pressure at all. No sacks, little disruption, not a great game for the D.
  24. Also, we should've predicted it would be close. All the prime time games this year have come down to the wire (aside from SNF last week 😁)!
  25. When you really break it down, we put up over 30 points (again), and that should be enough to win. Regardless of the last play, the defense didn't come through today.
