Rank The Buffalo Bills Starting QB’s Since Jim Kelly
BigDingus replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
1. Josh Allen 2. Doug Flutie 3. Drew Bledsoe 4. Kyle Orton 5. Tyrod Taylor 6. Ryan Fitzpatrick The rest don't even register. Honorable mention to Barkley for that Jets blowout after coming off the streets & giving us an exciting game in the midst of a disaster season. -
...Part 2! I know the line we had with Hughes, Mario Williams & Dareus was being called the Cold Front too. Then it got mocked when Rex Ryan took over & ruined it. Edit: Here's an ESPN article joking about (after Rex shat on the D) - https://www.espn.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/21589/cold-front-is-accurate-name-for-frozen-bills-defensive-line

Oh shoot, that was during the Texas Tech game? How'd I miss that... Well, probably because we were getting blown out & I lost interest, but damn that looked horrible! Just did a quick search, turns out he only suffered a back sprain (obviously didn't return to the game though) but came back the next week & rushed for 200+ yards & 2 TD's vs TCU. That's impressive!

Josh Allen: A winner above all other things
BigDingus replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, Tebow & Vince Young always had those "he's just a winner" defenders. I guess when the numbers don't pop off the page, wins is all you can point to. Thankfully Allen's got good numbers to back it up, so he's the good kinda winner -
I got a laugh out of it, but after watching it at .25 speed, I kinda blame the RB for his route, stopping right in front of the linemen. I didn't notice at first but the linemen ducks before the ball even gets there because he sees the RB extend his hands out for a catch 🤣 Either way, it's definitely just more ineptitude. I just thought it was Wilson's fault at first.

Ongoing Buffalo Bills Ratings on Madden 22 Thread!
BigDingus replied to TheyCallMeAndy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I honestly feel this is the worst version of Madden in a while. So many bugs & problems with this game, too many instance of just a broken game. And the huge focus on MUT & microtransactions has gotten outrageous. Lastly, I'm annoyed the PC version is just the last gen version of the game instead of the new one, yet they still charge $60. I built this badass PC for a reason fools, show some respect! lol -
Thurman Thomas. The second time for 1 day. It would've been a tragedy had he retired a Miami Dolphin 😉 Also, I know he didn't have the longevity, but Lorenzo Alexander was a fantastic signing that helped anchor the defense.

Something I'll kinda miss, but not really, simulator
BigDingus replied to Bills fan since 87's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nah, it'll be more fun this year because now you can play around & see how the crappy teams you WANT to matchup with get to face against the Bills (or maybe teams you want to avoid?) Just gotta go in with the mindset "how do we get the Jags into the playoffs now?" and enjoy -
Seems like he's only gotten better. He's had the same knocks on him that Josh has had, but he keeps coming through. This year specifically he's looked like he's taken that next step & really improved his passing game.
-
Ok, not trying to be mean, but Lamar sounds like he has marbles in his mouth 😬
-
Gotta say, all the primetime games this year have been fantastic. I may be forgetting some, but they seem to all be good games for once.

Honestly, it's well earned. If I was a Ravens fan I'd be chanting that too. His numbers tonight are insane.
-
Ravens are looking to lose their 100 yard rushing streak. Uh oh!
-
Can't believe both these QB's have thrown for 400 yards tonight. The NFL has gone insane.
-
Yeah... You talk crap about your bosses, you'll face consequences. This could've been mentioned already, but I just thought about it... along with racially charged comments that might not sit well with your players, the Raiders also have an openly gay player in the locker room, and according to that ESPN article, Gruden used "anti-gay" slurs repeatedly. Pretty sure he was going to face a lot of heat from his own players anyway.
-
Apparently he's a meth head, anit-mask/anit-vaxx, child diddler, religious nut (according to Chiefs fans). I'm surprised he's allowed in the stadium lol

***Note: Just a "Thank You" / Appreciation / Show Some Love Thread in Honor of Emmanuel Sanders*** I think it's time we come together as a family to fully embrace Mr. Sanders. There were a lot of people dismissing him early on, doubting his ability at his age, or saying he's taking away playing time from real Bills like Gabe Davis. I think a lot of this has to do with Sanders being around for so long & having established himself outside of the Bills organization. We embraced Beasley & Diggs because they had their best seasons as Bills & were key players in elevating our homegrown QB. Sanders was seen as a temp guy who could possibly contribute as a role-player while the building block pieces did the leg-work. Sorry, but it didn't turn out that way. Emmanuel Sanders hasn't been playing like a 3rd or 4th option, he's been WR 1-B to Diggs 1-A. And it's not like he's the slot or underneath guy, he's going deep. A lot of people figured because he was older, he probably lost a step. Definitely not true at all, as he's averaging the highest yards per reception of any guy on the team with 10+ receptions. Diggs - 28 receptions, 374 yards, 13.4 average, 1 TD Sanders - 19 receptions, 322 yards, 16.9 average, 4 TD's Knox - 18 receptions, 261 yards, 14.5 average, 5 TD's I threw Knox's stats in there just to bring it a bit more into context. He's having a career year and been instrumental in our success. He's 27 yards shy of his total last year, already matched his career TD total in just 5 games, and is tied for 2nd in the league with 5 receiving TD's. He's getting a TON of praise & deservedly so. Sanders has 1 less TD (tied with people like Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, Gronk, Mike Evans for 6th) & 60 more yards on 1 more reception. The guy has EARNED that play time & snap count. Diggs' numbers might drop a bit, but now offenses that try to focus or double Diggs are getting punished by Sanders & Knox. Beasley was always a reliable target & solid underneath when teams focused Diggs, but now they STILL risk getting their top blown off deep if they put too much of an emphasis on locking Diggs up. And talk about a guy willing to go after a ball & lay it all out to make a catch. He can still make highlight reel plays any time you throw his direction. The low dive/slide in the endzone, that fingertip grab deep down the left sideline (both against WFT) or the 2 TD's last night, the guy is clutch. I'm not saying we should ignore Gabe Davis, but just saying Sanders EARNED his targets. We may have had our own ideas of how we wanted this season to play out, but Sanders decided his play would do the talking & he won't be kept off the field. Until the guy wants to hang up the cleats, I'm proud to have him on the Bills. Maybe he can kick it a while longer & retire with us after winning another ring
