It could be ok, but we know from experience that it can cool off Josh. Also, it just adds that unpredictable element, increases chance of injuries & turnovers, etc. Hate to see someone try to make a cut, slip & get injured, then fumble on top of it. It could all work perfectly in our favor, but it's just a frustrating unknown.

I know people are going to hate me for this, but he looks like Allen against the Pats 2 years ago when he couldn't hit anything (except for a few INT's), and you could tell the big stage was creating a bit too much pressure. He's already got lucky on a few potential INT's being dropped, but hopefully he turns it around.

As much as the coaching needs to come through, nothing beats on-field execution. Every time the offense sputters, people blame play calling. But as we've seen during the Tyrod years (and even before that), if you aren't executing, the play calling either doesn't matter, or it's forced to adjust. You can have open men downfield, man beat & completely open, but if you check down to the RB instead of taking the shot, it's not the coach who called a bad play, it's the players failing to deliver. You can see it even more on defense, last year being a good example. After the Chiefs & Titans showed they were willing to just run every play, we still couldn't stop it no matter what the coach wanted. They tried a million different ways to stop the run, but the individual players just weren't capable of doing so. Coaching is definitely important, not arguing with that. I've just seen enough times where the coaching was fine, but the players sure weren't.

The Eagles were averaging 12 points a game prior to playing the Chiefs. They put up 30 against them & never punted once. Now this week they're back to 13 points. The Bills HAVE to be able to move the ball on offense. Literally every team has been able to. Really hoping the team doesn't get in their own head & play tight/scared.

I like how people knock the Bills & disregard their 2 shutouts against Miami & Houston as if it's no big deal... But it's the NFL! Any team can are least score SOMETHING at any point, and to hold teams to ZERO is a huge accomplishment. Right now, we have: Miami - 17 points against the Bucs Houston - 22 points against the Pats So let's not pretend holding both teams to ZERO isn't impressive. Doesn't matter who the opponent is, a shutout is a shutout. 😤 That's it for my rant lol

Bingo! Each year, everyone bases their rankings on what the teams did last year. If that were true, every year would be the same. Chiefs & Bucs top teams in 2020, well then they'd be the top teams in 2021. And if they're the top teams in 2021, they're the top teams in 2022. And if.... It goes on & on. At some point things change. You can't just go off the last season, some teams are going to fall & others will improve.

Did you watch him in college? Maybe if I did, I'd have thought that too. But honestly I was super confused. All I saw was a guy who had only 39 receptions & 0 TD's in his college career, and had zero idea why we needed to move up for that person. I'm glad I'm not a scout, as I had no clue who he was.

I dunno, even the Bucs players seemed impressed with how accurate Mahomes was despite getting destroyed play after play. I hope people just get their hands up & deflect passes if they can't bring him down.
