  1. That is the EXACT same reason I haven't got one! 😂 I'm not kidding, every time I think I can't go wrong, something happens. The last jersey of an active player I bought was Marcel Dareus. Young, talented, pro-bowler, signed a huge extension, NFL top 100 player, what could go wrong? Yeah... about that. So until we win that Super Bowl, I think I'll just hold off. Us Bills fans are a superstitious bunch after all.
  2. Yeah... that really hurt. Little did we know at the time it was just a sign of things to come. So much ineptitude in evaluating/developing QB's. 17 year drought... So many good QB's in that draft & we moved up to grab Losman 💩 But hey, several years later we give it a go again & draft another QB in the 1st round. Surely this time we'll get it right. Surprise, EJ Manuel is here! That draft class had the opposite problem... all the QB's were duds.
  3. Chris Berman & Kyle Brandt need to do a segment together. Old school Bills billiever + New school Bills billiever = all hype!
  4. 1. Josh Allen 2. Mac Jones (how...) 3. Tom Brady 4. Justin Fields 5. Patrick Mahomes I know it doesn't mean much, but it still feels wild that there's a guy on the Bills who is popular enough to top everyone else in the league in jersey sales. That's when you know you've crossed beyond just your own team's fans & into the mainstream. Maybe I'll finally start seeing some Bills memorabilia making its way into local stores out here in West Texas.
  5. The same God that wants the Cowboys to win HATES the Bills, so hopefully that isn't the case. Super Bowls aside, that MNF game in Buffalo years ago where the Cowboys came back from 5 or 6 Romo INT's, recovered an onside kick, then kicked the game winning 50+ yard FG twice still angers me to this day!
  6. Let's not get too carried away...
  7. I know the natural response is to want to shut him up & prove you aren't scared, but I'd prefer Josh & the team just ignore it. We definitely don't need our QB trying to prove he can bulldoze defenders. Rather have him upright as much as possible please
  8. This is probably just due to my age & optimism at the time, but JP Losman getting his first start against Houston opening day & getting the W. I was worried after Bledsoe's last season, but optimistic about Losman. Figured that he was drafted in the 1st round of strong QB class (Manning, Rivers, Big Ben) that surely the Bills must've known he was of similar quality to move up in the 1st round to get him. Then he got injured his rookie season, so 1 extra year went by to build up the expectations. Then when game time came, the Bills win at home against the Texas 22-7, Losman didn't light it up, but he showed promise. Man... how quickly things change 😄
  9. I'm actually surprised Antonio Brown is actually still this good. He had his moments when he came back last year, but usually when people go nuts & sabotage their career/public image, they don't return to form. Wouldn't want him on the Bills, but still impressed.
  10. Never in my life did I think a 44 year old QB... a starter since 2001, would be playing at a high level TWENTY YEARS LATER! I really can't stand the guy, but here he is in his 21st season with 3 TD's to 1 INT, and a 128 passer rating, outplaying a QB 16 years younger than him. Honestly have no idea what Brady is still playing for. The all time passing yards record? Looking even goofier with all those rings on his fingers? Just retire dude! ***And he throws an INT via Hail Mary to end the half LOL
  11. Heh, look at how little green there is. The real NY team is getting real NY (and nationwide) coverage
  12. Kinda sucks that passing stats got so inflated. Not just for QB's, but WR's too. Wasn't Andre Reed like 2nd all time in receptions at the time of his retirement? I feel like I remember him being only behind Jerry Rice. He was also way up there in yards too. People should remember while he was in his prime, there wasn't a better WR in the league other than Jerry Rice (who happens to be the GOAT at the position). Edit: Also, I'd put Barry Sanders above any RB on that list. If his production suddenly dropped in half, he still would've broken Payton's all time rushing record with ease had he played even a bit longer.
  13. Bills seem to always win these polls & contests. It was the only thing we could win after nearly 2 decades of doing nothing on the field. Pretty sure we're the most seasoned & experienced fanbase in this regard. Sorry Browns fans, you'll have to suck longer until you're ready to compete in internet voting!
  14. Darn, here's another one from today with him & Diggs play fighting. TOO MUCH FUN!
  15. "What changed?" Did you miss the 2020 season or.....? Unless we're going back to 2019, nothing's changed. After you go 13-3 & make the AFC Championship game, you become a lot of people's pick for SB contender. So since then, nothing has changed.
  16. Thanks for the Paramount+ heads up. I already am subscribed for "Evil" and several Star Trek shows, and this is just a bonus!
  17. I was watching some videos breaking down film on Allen, and it's actually pretty great knowing he still has so much room to grow, despite how good he is already. The reason I say this is because one of his more obvious weaknesses was placement & touch on his quick throw to flats. Whether it be a RB or a quick slot WR, he often throws a bit behind and/or too high, causing them to leave their feet and/or turn around. But with 2 guys that have proven excellent in the slot like Beasley & Sanders, I expect that to be an area Josh greatly improves this year & adds another weapon to his repertoire. I'm excited Sanders is here, as he'll not only be another reliable target on offense, but his experience will help Josh a lot.
  18. Right behind him? I'm not sure Josh swings that way...
  19. Now if he goes on a vacation... THAT will be the time to pull out the pitchforks! I remember living in Dallas when Romo went out of town somewhere & man, people were livid! Or maybe it had to do with him hanging around some celebrity singer (Carrie Underwood I think?)... Either way, if Allen is either on vacation or hanging out with a hot singer lady, CUT HIS @$$!
  20. This made me think... "The Bills then rewarded Allen with $150 million in guaranteed money. Meanwhile, Diggs is currently the 19th-highest paid wideout in football. I’m sure this’ll cause no internal strife of any sort." And this made me laugh... "Cole Beasley actually made the NFL 100 this summer, which means that the NFL doesn’t have 100 good players in it." And... "I harbor no such lingering affection for #BillsMafia, which is comprised exclusively of Stoolies, heavyset aunts wearing Tevas, and people determined to make the end of the Afghanistan war their new Benghazi." 😂 The article was pretty absurd, but good for a few stupid laughs.
  21. Star - I'm worried about COVID, therefore I'm opting out of this next season! Also Star - I'm not worried about COVID, so opting against getting the vaccine to protect against it... Maybe it's just he doesn't want to play period? Opt out, take a season off. Don't get the vaccine, get forced to sit or stay away from team multiple times throughout the year.
  22. Just thought it was funny, have a nice day
  23. #7 is particularly underrated. I mean c'mon, he won us that game that one time against that team that mattered!
  24. "Reply hazy, try again." WHAT ALL DOES IT MEAN?! It predicted 13-3 last year? That's impressive!
  25. This is honestly what I'd expect. I don't think he'll hit the same statistical highs, but he'll still improve overall as a signal caller. Hopefully the offense has a better run game this year, so that alone might reduce his overall numbers, but I still think his football IQ will continue to get better. He'll get better recognizing defenses, feel more comfortable making adjustments at the line, and he'll get rid of the ball quicker. He'll likely feel less pressure to hang on to the ball for too long, always wanting to make a big play. So as a whole, he'll be a more efficient & intelligent QB, while still being the playmaker we need when necessary.
