  1. I hope it's just a bad game, because Allen looks nothing like he did last year... Oh, and blocked punt. Yay.
  2. That did not look like the play was designed that way. Looks like there was confusion on their parts. Have no idea what they were planning with that, but it definitely wasn't supposed to be a throw 5+ yards backwards with nobody downfield.
  3. Tyrod Taylor has also thrown for more yards in the first half than he did most games his last year in Buffalo lol
  4. Steelers have a good pass rush, plus you have to take into account how long he hangs on before the pass. Not saying he's hanging on too long, rather it's taking a while for the receivers to get open or find holes in the coverage. After 3 seconds, I'd expect he's going to get hit more often than not.
  5. This looks like 2019 Allen I was joking before, but I am concerned that fans being present just adds to him being too amped up.
  6. Allen's looking rough πŸ˜• FANS, GO HOME! IT'S YOUR FAULT YOU FOOLS
  7. Ok, I'll let the refs slide on those holding calls. They made up for it on not flagging Hyde. I was about to be irate if that gave them a 1st & restarted their drive.
  8. Man, that was painful. Missed a wide open TD, and 3 holding calls... I blame the fans. When they weren't there, the team did better πŸ˜‚
  9. As we know first hand, Belichick can scheme with the best of them. Even with a less talented roster, he surely will get the most out of what he has as long as his team isn't turning the ball over. I think if they can minimize mistakes & turnovers, they will definitely be competitive. He's never had a problem making a game slow & ugly, chewing the clock & dominating time of possession. He's not only good at attacking an opponent's weakness, he's great at masking those of his own team. We definitely have the more talented roster, but I'm not willing to say McDermott & Co. are the more talented coaching staff. Yet.
  10. You know, I love this dude more & more every time I hear any news or see any videos on him. The guy is just awesome.
  11. I don't doubt that his impact on the defense will be felt, but at this point, Star is becoming just a headache. Opt out of last season due to COVID, then refuse to get vaccinated to prevent that same COVID (and worse variants) because....reasons(?), and after alllll that, he's out opening day & for god knows how long thereafter... But yeah... I'm sure the guy is doing absolutely everything in his power & busting his a** to get back on the field for the good of the team πŸ™„
  12. Time to re-snag Corey Bojorquez from the Packers & sign him to a mega deal! I know it was a coin-toss situation that came down to the wire, but when it came to either extending Allen or resigning Bojo, they went with Allen. Only time will tell if that was the right decision...πŸ˜‚ But hey, we have some spare change available now, time to get our super-star HOF punter back from the Pack!
  13. Don't you think this request is a bit unreasonable? Would you ask a bird not to spread its wings, or ask a child not to stick their finger in an electrical socket? NO! So don't expect Big Ben to avoid a hail of dildos! It's only natural.
  14. That is the EXACT same reason I haven't got one! πŸ˜‚ I'm not kidding, every time I think I can't go wrong, something happens. The last jersey of an active player I bought was Marcel Dareus. Young, talented, pro-bowler, signed a huge extension, NFL top 100 player, what could go wrong? Yeah... about that. So until we win that Super Bowl, I think I'll just hold off. Us Bills fans are a superstitious bunch after all.
  15. Yeah... that really hurt. Little did we know at the time it was just a sign of things to come. So much ineptitude in evaluating/developing QB's. 17 year drought... So many good QB's in that draft & we moved up to grab Losman πŸ’© But hey, several years later we give it a go again & draft another QB in the 1st round. Surely this time we'll get it right. Surprise, EJ Manuel is here! That draft class had the opposite problem... all the QB's were duds.
  16. Chris Berman & Kyle Brandt need to do a segment together. Old school Bills billiever + New school Bills billiever = all hype!
  17. 1. Josh Allen 2. Mac Jones (how...) 3. Tom Brady 4. Justin Fields 5. Patrick Mahomes I know it doesn't mean much, but it still feels wild that there's a guy on the Bills who is popular enough to top everyone else in the league in jersey sales. That's when you know you've crossed beyond just your own team's fans & into the mainstream. Maybe I'll finally start seeing some Bills memorabilia making its way into local stores out here in West Texas.
  18. The same God that wants the Cowboys to win HATES the Bills, so hopefully that isn't the case. Super Bowls aside, that MNF game in Buffalo years ago where the Cowboys came back from 5 or 6 Romo INT's, recovered an onside kick, then kicked the game winning 50+ yard FG twice still angers me to this day!
  19. Let's not get too carried away...
  20. I know the natural response is to want to shut him up & prove you aren't scared, but I'd prefer Josh & the team just ignore it. We definitely don't need our QB trying to prove he can bulldoze defenders. Rather have him upright as much as possible please
  21. This is probably just due to my age & optimism at the time, but JP Losman getting his first start against Houston opening day & getting the W. I was worried after Bledsoe's last season, but optimistic about Losman. Figured that he was drafted in the 1st round of strong QB class (Manning, Rivers, Big Ben) that surely the Bills must've known he was of similar quality to move up in the 1st round to get him. Then he got injured his rookie season, so 1 extra year went by to build up the expectations. Then when game time came, the Bills win at home against the Texas 22-7, Losman didn't light it up, but he showed promise. Man... how quickly things change πŸ˜„
  22. I'm actually surprised Antonio Brown is actually still this good. He had his moments when he came back last year, but usually when people go nuts & sabotage their career/public image, they don't return to form. Wouldn't want him on the Bills, but still impressed.
  23. Never in my life did I think a 44 year old QB... a starter since 2001, would be playing at a high level TWENTY YEARS LATER! I really can't stand the guy, but here he is in his 21st season with 3 TD's to 1 INT, and a 128 passer rating, outplaying a QB 16 years younger than him. Honestly have no idea what Brady is still playing for. The all time passing yards record? Looking even goofier with all those rings on his fingers? Just retire dude! ***And he throws an INT via Hail Mary to end the half LOL
  24. Heh, look at how little green there is. The real NY team is getting real NY (and nationwide) coverage
  25. Kinda sucks that passing stats got so inflated. Not just for QB's, but WR's too. Wasn't Andre Reed like 2nd all time in receptions at the time of his retirement? I feel like I remember him being only behind Jerry Rice. He was also way up there in yards too. People should remember while he was in his prime, there wasn't a better WR in the league other than Jerry Rice (who happens to be the GOAT at the position). Edit: Also, I'd put Barry Sanders above any RB on that list. If his production suddenly dropped in half, he still would've broken Payton's all time rushing record with ease had he played even a bit longer.
