  1. Not even close. Everyone's last memory of us going into last season was taking the Chiefs to wire, in Arrowhead, with Josh playing like a man possessed. Everyone's last memory of us going into this season is getting stomped at home by the Bengals, with Josh doing nothing & our defense looking like swiss cheese. Sure, we added some guys, but so did everyone else. The Bills didn't make all these moves in a vacuum. The division got better, and so did the AFC.
  2. Yeah, the dude was always a PoS. But no, I don't subscribe to the fact hat Patrick was at any fault. His brother was obviously obsessed with living life off his bro's fame, and he instantly started acting like a spoiled brat the moment he realized he could get attention for his antics. Patrick has shown nothing but class, despite how much we Bills fans hate him on the field. He's not responsible for his family's stupidity. The only thing he's stupid for is marrying that attention seeking wife, but then again, people love who they love...and he certainly didn't marry her for her looks... see below:
  3. This was a really good listen. That's all 😅 Thanks for sharing!
  4. Every year we tend to look at the additions & point out upgrades, while failing to take into account that every other team is trying to do the same thing as well. The Jets had a great draft last year with rookies that instantly made huge impacts, improved dramatically with a new HC, and now this year added Aaron Rodgers. The Dolphins made tons of moves last year, and we saw them also improve. They played us to the wire all 3 games, and nearly beat us at home in the playoffs with a 3rd string QB & now upgraded their DB's with their first draft pick (Cam Smith) & signing Jalen Ramsey. Who knows what we'll see from the Patriots, but at least they won't go into the season with no OC & hoping to just wing it developing a young QB. And that's just our division. The Chiefs are still the boogeyman, and everyone from the Chargers to the Steelers look to have improved quite a bit. Hell, even Jacksonville could take a big step up after the year Lawrence had last season. Anyway, just a reminder to not solely focus on all the good things the Bills did or didn't do. It can look great on paper, but how will it match up against all the good things everyone else did or didn't do?
  5. I wouldn't be so sure. I think they regress in the W/L column a bit, but will be stronger overall come playoffs This team being the front runner & media consensus favorite to win the SB since day 1 (and Allen the favorite to win MVP) only put way too much unnecessary pressure on everyone. Hopefully, lines like this, the Chiefs once again winning the SB, and Mahomes the MVP will reposition the bullseye on KC instead of us.
  6. I'd have been cool with every pick from 2 onward to be O-line. Hell, grab a T or C next!
  7. Yes, I'm sure the excess of 6th & 7th round picks next year will really put us over the edge! I don't really care much tbh, but still, figured they'd at least want some fresh prospects to at least add depth or compete in camp. We were cap strapped this offseason, didn't make any big moves, and the team obviously needs more to advance, but yeah... not going to overreact over a 6th round pick either way.
  8. Agreed, and aside from Allen, they haven't really shown the ability to draft these early rounds well. And even though I like Kincaid, I haven't stopped hearing about how amazingly loaded this draft is with talented TE's, and I'm starting to get Sammy Watkins vibes. Not in the fact Kincaid will be a bust, only that we'll find out many teams got Pro Bowl level TE's all over the place, yet we traded way assets to get ours. We traded up for Edmunds & got nothing. We went back to back Edge rushers in 1st & 2nd rds and haven't seen much from it. We reached on Bernard in the 3rd & got a ST player. We went CB in the 1st, then had him on the bench in favor of a 6th rounder... So what's different about THIS pick? Will a 228 lb ILB from Tulane really become a consistent starter this time? I don't know, but I don't like our shotty history...
  9. Insider info tells me Bills are trading back up to grab one. You heard it here first! But for the record, my insider is just that extra voice in my head. Sometimes it says weird things...
  10. HELL YEAH! O-LINE! I honestly don't even care who at this point, just trying to address it makes me happy!
  11. Wish we'd commit more to that strategy....
  12. So I'm not posting this to suggest Kincaid isn't going to be good or the Bills made a mistake, I'm just curious as to why you guys think that so few 1st round TE's have gone on to be great NFL players. Here's 2 articles discussing the topic - https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/first-round-tight-ends-have-underperformed-where-is-the-best-place-to-find-them https://www.profootballnetwork.com/tight-ends-first-round/ I think the 2 biggest issues have been teams' inability to utilize them, followed by injuries. I know Kincaid has had some back problems, but I'm more interested in how Dorsey plans to use him. We all envision the 2 x TE sets and throwing him in the slot, but none of that ensures he'll get the opportunities. A lot of the criticisms fielded at our RB's & run game can also apply towards the TE's. At times it felt like Knox was just an afterthought, just as Nyheim Hines & Co. were. It's great to have the weapons, but it doesn't mean much if we're not finding creative ways to get them involved. Anyway, I'm extremely excited for Kincaid & think he'll make an impact regardless. I'm just curious if anyone who knows more about these previous 1st round failures might have some insight as to why they failed.
  13. Didn't Dawson Knox barely have any yards and zero TDs in college, yet we still took him in the 3rd round? Sometimes your abilities and potential aren't clearly reflected in your stats. Just checked, Knox's best season at Ole Miss was 24 receptions, 321 yards & 0 TDs his junior year. His senior year was 15 receptions, 284 yards, and 0 TDs. Even though he's not DOMINANT now, he was capable of far more than his college stats showed
  14. Now if we can just pack the rest of the draft with O-line & whatever else, I'll be fine. I'm sure we'll grab a WR somewhere, but just give us a better O-line PLEASE!
  15. Even if I wasn't sold on Stroud, if I were a Houston fan, I'd be extremely excited right now!
  16. I thought I hated KC for the SB wins & playoff losses, but I now hate them more for the way this draft has been hosted...
  17. Yep, though there were the usual people telling everyone to just give him time & see how great he'll become. I know we all like to think that, but there are some picks you just know are doomed to fail 🤣
  18. I'm just waiting for my head to explode when I see a RB taken with our 1st pick... If I'm not immediately spamming angry comments on the board, it's because my brains are stuck on the ceiling after my inevitable meltdown.
  19. You're not going to get many Bills fans admitting they should've taken Mahomes, as that implies he's superior to the QB we have & love. But if you were in control of a franchise & had it all riding on that pick, you take Mahomes. Mahomes has gone to the AFCCG every year he's started, been to 3 x SB's & won 2 already, 2 x MVP... And that says nothing of his ridiculous stats & passing records. Josh has 1 x AFCCG appearance. People will find whatever ways they can to explain away one while excusing the other, but there's a very clear QB Hierarchy right now, and Mahomes sits at the top. That being said, you don't need to have the best QB in the league to win a SB. It helps, but the cliché "it's a team sport" exists for a reason.
  20. Last year, USFL had solid ratings, but attendance sucked because all the games were played in one place. This year, XFL had worse ratings than the USFL had (and about half as much as they did pre-pandemic), but at least attendance was decent. Sadly, I think the best chance of success was 2020 XFL. Solid numbers, good attendance, but then pandemic hit & it was over. I always found it weird how quickly they canceled the entire thing & not just the season.
  21. This would be my worst nightmare. I don't have any more patience left to see this front office continue throwing away picks on underachieving defenders & ignore the offense. And only using the very last pick on the O-line makes it even worse. Because of that, I know this is exactly how it'll play out 🤣
  22. I thought you were going to make the "0 rings" joke 😅 Then again, that would apply to most everyone on our roster unfortunately. Damn, now I went & got myself depressed again...
  23. If it's a quality linemen, I'm all for it. Regardless of position, we need to improve & add depth (and not just jack of all trades guys to be a warm body). Morse was the best of the unit last year, but O-line has been a serious sore spot for me for years. Against better teams, it's always an obvious weakness
