  1. Honestly had no clue how players viewed him. I figured if he held such high positions on both sides, he must be a well-respected/well-liked person. Obviously I was wrong lol
  2. Didn't realize Troy Vincent was so disliked. So much for the idea that the NFLPA is looking out for the best interest of the players 🤨
  3. That's not the eye test, that's the exact opposite. We can all read the numbers & W/L record... But sure, if "eye test" just means "ability to read," then sure?
  4. All I want is for them to seriously invest in the O-line this off-season. Please! In regards to the draft, just relax a bit on using early round picks on defense... This front office & coaching staff hasn't proven they can hit on big talent early. None have been "busts" yet, some have been pretty solid, but none have been stars either. 1st Round: Edmunds (2018) / Ed Oliver (2019) / Greg Rousseau (2021) / Kaiir Elam (2022) 2nd Round: AJ Epenesa (2020) / Boogie Basham (2021) 3rd Round: Harrison Phillips (2018) / Terrel Bernard (2022) So all 4 years that this group had a 1st round pick (no 2020 1st), they've selected a defensive player (though in 2018, they also took our lord & savior Josh Allen too). The only one to make a Pro Bowl was Edmunds. Not saying nobody has contributed, as Oliver & now Rousseau have definitely had their moments, but not top tier talent or the homeruns you'd hope from such high draft picks. And please, stop the revolving door at RB. Wait until you give these guys a better line. James Cook genuinely could be a star, but without an improved O-line it'll be harder to tell.
  5. Really wanted to see the Lions in the playoffs, but I still think they'll play hard for Dan Campbell. Seriously, I don't think I've ever respected another team's coach as much as I do Campbell. Feels like the admiration & respect I have for Zelensky as a foreign leader, only you know... way less serious 😅
  6. Can we just trust the coaching staff at this point? Bench Davis right before playoffs? This same crowd was crying to start Elam, and he immediately became the go-to target for the opposition to exploit. Any time Josh plays poorly or the defense gets rolled over, we're also crying to fire McDermott/Frazier/Dorsey. We had posts on this board whining about everything from Edmunds to Hines, then both end up being crucial to today's win. Yes, there are plenty of flaws to this team, but there's enough blame to go around on EVERYONE. Let's just hope McDermott & Co. have them all ready when it matters most.
  7. Sign every available CB sitting on the couch. Tre is still working his way back into things & is clearly struggling. Meanwhile, it's obvious why Benford won the starting job over Elam, despite how angry that makes fans. He's just too raw right now, and it's obvious other coaches look to exploit him. Other than that, we can't keep up these 3+ turnover games! If it weren't for 2 x special teams TD's, the score doesn't look so pretty. Willing to give the Bills the benefit of the doubt, as they obviously had a rough week. But have to be more secure with your possessions.
  8. Seems that no matter what they do, this team finds a way to turn it over multiple times a game.
  9. Yeah, except for Benford... a 6th round rookie at the same position they started over him 🤣
  10. Nuh uh! For weeks we had fans tell us the coaches were just hiding him from us, he's definitely not at all underperforming!
  11. Look, I've never thought Allen was as good as Mahomes. I know, kill me, I'm evil. But this is what is so annoyingly stupid about the NFL narrative & even the way fans talk- QB'S DO NOT PLAY AGAINST EACH OTHER! It's Mahomes vs Bills Defense. Allen vs Chiefs defense. Does Allen need to put up better numbers than Mahomes to win a game? NO! He needs to beat the Chiefs defense more than Mahomes beats the Bills defense! Aside from the coin flip or post game, they will never be on the field at the same time! So who cares if Mahomes is the best QB jn the league? The whole "3 phases" clichés exist for a reason. Allen or Burrow don't need to be the best ever, just better than opposing defenses on any given day. /rant 😅
  12. It's only "taking away a win" if you're basing it off win %. You're not, you're looking at how many games you lost. They didn't lose those games against the Texans of Titans, therefore it helps them in this scenario. if they had lost any of those games, they'd be out of the mix, just like they would've been had none of this cancelation stuff happened.
  13. Was it ever suggested that instead of win %, they base the Chiefs/Bengals/Bills seeding off how many losses + tiebreakers? That way, Bills with 3 losses vs Chiefs with 3 losses still gets Buffalo the #1 seed, or if Chiefs & Bills both had 4 losses, Bengals would supersede the Chiefs in tiebreakers, then strength of schedule would have Bengals over us... It just would make more sense given the position all teams were in heading into that MNF game. Bengals needed both Chiefs & Bills to lose a game, Chiefs needed Bills to lose a game, and Bills just needed to win out. If they just went off total losses instead of win %, it'd line up the same way right?
  14. It's not like our offense had trouble moving the ball either. But I find it wild that you just watched the Bengals be down 17-3 at halftime against the Bucs & overcome it, then watch them be up 22-0 at half & nearly lose it, yet somehow believe Bengals were in cruise control for the rest of the game... We just saw a team down 33-0 at halftime win, but you believe PART of ONE quarter is indicative of how an entire game would play out? I dunno man, I get being confident, but the Bills weren't #1 in the conference for no reason. Bills lost 3 games all season, by a COMBINED 8 points. That's it. Yet reading your posts on the Bengals board, you make it sound as if it was heading towards a beatdown. Trust me, I'd also have loved to see how that game plays out. But there's 0 chance it was leading to an a**whooping. A Bengals win? Sure. But Bengals steamrolling the Bills? No chance.
  15. If marketed right, a Bills vs Bengals AFC Championship Game at a neutral site could put up record ratings numbers, maybe even comparable to low-end Super Bowls! I don't know why that thought is going through my head right now, but I bet if I had the thought, some NFL execs certainly did as well
  16. This would be foolish imo. I don't think McDaniel is a homerun or anything, but he was brought in to revamp that offense along with your other acquisitions. He accomplished that. 2021: 17th in passing/ 30th in rushing/ 25th in yards per game/ 22nd in points per game 2022: 3rd in passing/ 26th in rushing/ 6th in yards per game/ 10th in points per game Problem is the defense regressed, which we knew wasn't his strong suit anyway. Defense: 2021: 15th in yards per game/ 16th in points 2022: 20th in yards per game/ 27th in points We also know Tua has potential, but he's far too injury-prone at this point to continue playing. There's really no way I'd ever feel comfortable putting him out on the field, as every new concussion has the risk of permanently ruining his life. Dolphins should be looking to sign a new QB & upgrade defensive coordinators.
  17. Yeah, that's why I compared Andre Johnson to Moulds in my original post too. He has great numbers, despite playing without a great QB his entire career. I tend to agree with you on Wayne, but Johnson was pretty dominant at his position for years. Remember, he had years with more receiving yards than guys like Megatron, Larry Fitzgerald, TO, Steve Smith, etc. while also having more receptions than guys like Wes Welker & Tony Gonzales. 2 x First-Team All-Pro, 2 x Second-Team All-Pro. But yeah, Wayne was often a number 2 guy who played with some of the best QB's of that time, so I understand the hesitancy there.
  18. Ooooh, I see. I thought you meant the options were: A) Homefield advantage throughout all 3 games of the post-season but give the Bills a BYE B) Get a BYE, but games against Bills/Bengals becomes neutral site Now it makes more sense.
  19. Wouldn't you always take the BYE in that situation though? Knowing that if you get paired against the Bills it'd be played at a neutral site anyway, why not just take the BYE, get a free home game in round 2, then play round 3 at a neutral site (given you win round 2)?
  20. I dunno, they were both great players imo. Reggie Wayne (14 seasons): 14,345 yards (#10) / 1,070 receptions (#10) / 82 TD's (#28) / 1 x First-Team All-Pro / 6 x Pro Bowler Andre Johnson (14 seasons): 14,185 yards (#11) / 1,062 receptions (#11) / 70 TD's (#49) / 2 x First-Team All-Pro / 7 x Pro Bowler You have to remember though, Reggie Wayne had Peyton Manning & Andrew Luck throwing to him his whole career. Andre Johnson had: 1. David Carr 2. Sage Rosenfels 3. Matt Schaub 4. T.J. Yates 5. Case Keenum 6. Ryan Fitzpatrick 7. Old Matt Hassellbeck (Colts) 8. About-to-Retire Andrew Luck (7 games before getting injured) 9. Marcus Mariota And that's only counting guys who started significant number of games, not all the backups like Matt Leinart, Ryan Mallet, Tom Savage, etc... I feel like Andre Johnson could've destroyed so many records if he played on good teams with consistent QB play. One of those "what if?" guys like Eric Moulds.
  21. I must be growing soft, but Pats fans lately have been really supportive of the Bills (and I'm not even talking about the Damar situation). Even discussing Lamar, I saw a lot of Pats fans responding on Twitter that they'd love to see Bills win a SB just to see Hamlin holding a Lombardi Trophy. Got me right in the feels! Coupled with hearing so many of them praise Josh & say they wish he was their QB, I definitely don't hate them as much as I used to 😆
  22. I didn't realize journalists were reporting the NFL were taking that into consideration! I honestly think that'd be the least bad option out of all the bad options. Because out of all options, at least this one has the side benefit of A) making another fanbase happy & B) making the NFL more money by holding another game
  23. Hey look, other people are now suggesting this too! 😁
  24. Yeah, I honestly wasn't paying attention lol. Just kinda scrolling through the names that stuck out to me. But hey, they can all get in at some point!
  25. So as long as kids also play a game, it's automatically "a game for kids" or "a kid's game?" Basically that makes any and all games "games for kids." Whether it's soccer or chess or video games, kids also play those, so guess they're all kid games!
