  1. I mean, he's not wrong, but it's like he goes out of his way to stick his foot in his mouth & piss off fans...
  2. Unless there's a plan in place to SIGNIFICANTLY bolster this O-line, I don't care who they sign... we'll never see their full potential. Also, we've seen enough of this team to know they heavily favor passing & have difficultly commuting to the run, even when successful, so whoever they have back there is only going to have moderate success given their opportunities.
  3. I know it's not the popular consensus right now, especially given how the D played last time we saw them, but I still don't think Frazier's the problem, personnel is. However, my enthusiasm will die a lot more if: 1) we spend another 1st round pick on a defensive player or 2) we don't invest significantly in the O-line (whether via draft, trade or FA). Frazier coming back would only moderately temper excitement, but people act like we can only improve from here. That's not true...we can get worse, especially with a scheme change (think Rex Ryan ruining that great 2014 defense).
  4. Problem with Oliver is that the D is definitely better when he's out there, but he's also not as productive or dominant as we hoped. And unless we want to waste yet another high pick on D, not sure we're better off trading him.
  5. I like Dawkins, but the only Bills O-linemen who remotely deserves a Pro Bowl nod is Morse imo. Dawkins is above average, but not one of the best in the league. Then again, the Pro Bowl hasn't been just the best in the league for a while now
  6. Any way we can coax the Browns into trading Jim Schwartz to us? 🤣 That Bills defense was actually intimidating & go get pressure. Then again, it's not like all those draft picks on D are really pulling their weight either.
  7. It was so fast because the offense gained 6 yards in 2 drives. And what have they done since half time? Zero points.
  8. This is insane. Can't even get the Bengals to 3rd down, let alone 4th down.
  9. Romo was spot on about this weather. Playing zone, you don't have any time to recover after making a move, so positioning is crucial. You're going to get punished if you bite on a pump fake or a double move. Hope the D can recover & also put a pash rush together.
  10. Burrow: 10/13 - 118 yards - 2 TD's Allen: 2/4 - 6 yards Painful
  11. Looks like another time the weather hurts us. Defense based on zone, being in position & speed from sideline to sideline, yet we're getting walked all over.
  12. LOL this is an NFL defense? That was the easiest drive I've ever seen
  13. Gonna be honest... If I had the money to throw around, I'd be tempted seeing that 😅
  14. Looks like it's going to be a lot more snowy than we thought
  15. This is why it's so obnoxious when I see Chiefs fans saying stuff like "Mahomes threw for over 5,000 yards & look at the receivers he has to throw to: 1. JuJu, 2. Valdes-Scantling, 3. Watson, 4. Hardman!" Uh huh... ok guys. Nobody's buying that since we all know he has the best pass catching TE of all time out there getting 90-100 receptions a season 🙄
  16. If we have Elam on Chase for more than a couple plays, we're in big trouble. Sure, he could get an INT, but he'll also get targeted nonstop the entire time.
  17. Hes right though... Just Google it. HGH & steroids do not help these kinds of injuries at all, and in fact, most athletes on them are more likely to suffer injuries.
  18. We paid big money for a guy who's 2 years older than Poyer. Age isn't my concern yet. I hope they can at least offer him a strong 3 year contract, even if he's looking for longer. He's a key leader of this defense, and an All Pro when healthy. Either way, I'll root for him wherever he goes. I just hope he gets his much deserved ring here.
  19. Exactly! There's not a single part of me that's not desperately hoping for a Bills win. Problem is I've seen the Bills do Billsy things too often that my PTSD won't allow my expectations to get too high 😅
  20. I've always respected his accomplishments. Absolutely hate the player, but he's undeniably the GOAT imo. There is absolutely zero chance we'll ever see any QB net 7 x Super Bowl wins ever again. FREAKING SEVEN! The Pats were previously among the handful of teams that never won a ring before Brady. Then in one QB generation, they sit atop 1st place with a storied franchise like the Steelers & above others like the Cowboys, Packers & 49ers. That's insane. So yeah, I'll always root against him, but I'm not living in denial either.
  21. Gonna be honest, not very confident. Even when Josh isn't turning it over, others certainly step up to fill that void. Seems like this team finds a way to make things a bit tougher than necessary & a bit too often. The Bengals O-line is banged up, but ours just isn't good even when healthy. Morse is good, but the rest range from average to an active risk to Josh's health. Burrow & the Bengals also went through this last year & emerged in the SB (despite not playing particularly great in any of their wins). They KNOW they can do it & have done so. Our team is used to just getting close, and it's hard to know how that shapes a guy's mentality. For Josh, he could be pushing himself even harder & be more motivated than ever. For others, they could be waiting for that proverbial other shoe to drop in the back of their minds. Many of us saw the latter playout with those 4 straight SB losses. It seemed like no matter how great the team was, they found a way to play their worst in the big game. So yeah, I'm not sure what to make of this game.
  22. If it's 3rd & 19, I now close my eyes because I'm tired of witnessing these ridiculous conversions. It's one of the few remaining things that gets me legitimately animated & verbally upset watching a game. Feels like I've grown out of my old rage mode, but it comes roaring back seeing these 3rd & long situations. So to prevent that, I just lower the volume, close my eyes & wait for the result. Much easier to digest when I don't see the stupidity play out live 🤣
  23. Could just be a vape pen. I mean they were in Buffalo, probably figured it would blend in with his breath in the cold weather 😆
  24. It's not about playing "perfectly" though. It's about not repeatedly hurting yourself. It's why you keep hearing things like "most combined sacks/turnovers in a win since 1970" or "Bills were 0-13 in playoff games with a negative turnover differential"... because winning while coughing up the ball like that is exceedingly rare. And unfortunately, it's a reoccurring theme with this team that didn't change for the playoffs: Week 1: 2 x INT's/2 x Fumbles = 4 TO's Week 2: GOOD Week 3: 1 x Fumble = 1 TO Week 4: 1 x INT/1 x Fumble = 2 TO's Week 5: 1 x INT/1 x Fumble = 2 TO's Week 6: 1 x Fumble = 1 TO Week 7: BYE Week 8: 2 x INT's = 2 TO's Week 9: 2 x INT's = 2 TO's Week 10: 2 x INT's/2 x Fumbles = 4 TO's Week 11: GOOD Week 12: 1 x INT = 1 TO Week 13: 1 x Fumble = 1 TO Week 14: GOOD Week 15: 1 x Fumble = 1 TO Week 16: 2 x INT's/1 x Fumble = 3 TO's Week 17: CANCELED Week 18: 1 x INT/2 x Fumbles = 3 TO's WC: 2 x INT's/1 x Fumble = 3 TO's So 9 of 17 games we've had 2+ turnovers, with only 3 games having zero turnovers. Compare that to the Bengals who we play next week: Week 1: 4 x INT's/1 x Fumble = 5 TO's Week 2: GOOD Week 3: 1 x Fumble = 1 TO Week 4: GOOD Week 5: 1 x INT = 1 TO Week 6: 1 x Fumble = 1 TO Week 7: GOOD Week 8: 1 x INT/1 x Fumble = 2 TO's Week 9: GOOD Week 10: BYE Week 11: 2 x INT's = 2 TO's Week 12: GOOD Week 13: GOOD Week 14: 1 INT = 1 TO Week 15: 1 INT = 1 TO Week 16: 2 x INTs/1 Fumble = 3 TO's Week 17: CANCELED Week 18: 1 x INT = 1 TO WC: 1 x Fumble = 1 TO Only 4 of 17 games with 2+ turnovers, and double the amount of games (6) with zero turnovers. Keep in mind this doesn't include the countless additional fumbles we managed to recover, which could've made many games far worse. Thankfully, the Chiefs are pretty similar to us, with 8 of 17 games having 2+ turnovers, and 4 with zero. We just need to somehow keep it together against Cincinnati first.
  25. Not sure I've seen anyone look for style points. Had this been a clean 34-31 game without the usual turnovers, it wouldn't be as worrisome. But as we've seen ALL YEAR, the Bills turn the ball over a LOT. Pretending that's not a huge red flag, especially against better teams, is silly. Giving a 3rd string, late round rookie 18 points off turnovers isn't a recipe for success. I've already seen a ton of posts online from Chiefs & Bengals fans saying they're hoping to play the Bills now. What fans say doesn't matter, but it's pretty clear they're not scaring anyone.
