OMG, I loved Mike Tyson "I'm just here because you two have the most punchable faces in television"

Seems like a high character guy that's been producing, I like him already! Hope he's healthy and ready to go. Go Bills!

WGR speculating the Bills will make a trade
babulator replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can I pipe dream an Elam for Taylor scenario here? I mean the cap is just a pretend number that can be circumvented any number of ways right? I'm not entirely unhappy with our backfield, but starting Taylor over Cook sounds pretty damn good to me! Id move some chips in for that, make it happen Beane! -
Sean Payton on Broncos 2022 Season - Wow
babulator replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
Never understood why folks would hate on a guy for his honesty. This is what we as NFL fans want, forget the vanilla responses, give us the dirt! His statements about the coaching last year can still be 100% valid even if disappoint this year imho. We can evaluate what went wrong with his season afterwards, I don't think it will make his statements about the Bronco's last year any less valid. They were a coaching disaster and I was totally blown away that anyone would hire Hackett as a HC. That said... it would be difficult for Payton to not improve last years Broncos. -
Dawson Knox is not good. -> Dawson might have potential -> Dawson is not good, he cant catch, block or run routes. Full circle evolution. Likeable guy, has had a few moments but... Not everyone is, or can be good or great. High hopes for Kincaid though. Paraphrasing Bill Belicheck: If were talking about his ability to catch the ball, (a wr) thats a problem.

Brett Favre suing Shannon Sharpe and Pat McAfee🤣
babulator replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Man...I was such a big Favre fan in the day, it's sad to see what he's done with his life. I hope justice prevails and he leaves the public consciousness for the forseeable future. -
Pretty excited about this one. I know he's a "run stopper" but he get's pretty good penetration too. I also like Daquan, feeling pretty good about the 1T. I'm a Jordan P. fan but it was tough watching him down the stretch last year with that gimp arm. If we have to make room somewhere I think I keep Oliver & Settle over Jordan at 3T @ this point. Availability and upside and all.

He's been pretty instrumental in helping to keep the Bills in Buffalo and getting the new stadium plans in motion. Think what you will of that, but I'm happy for both.

RD 5, Pick 150: WR Justin Shorter, Florida
babulator replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
He catches alot of stuff underneath. With Shorter and Kincaid I expect alot more checkdowns this year. I suspect our offense will have a very different look and feel this year. -
That is one massive man! GJ, Go Bills!

Can we call the new double TE set the with Dawson and Dalton the "Big D!(k" package . Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Was this a thing, or a rumored thing? Any credibility to this? I typically try to avoid following this stuff, but the night before the game? Ugh...

Well, he's in the timeline for a new contract extension. I'd wager he'll work on this and some serious guarantee's before pulling the plug on his football career. 2 cents

I've been enjoying all the Ravens drama personally. Allowing Lamar to hold the franchise hostage with his ridiculous contract demands and now grossly overpaying for OBJ is pretty comical. Lamar has left soo much money on the table by not getting a new deal after 3 years, and now he's screwing up the teams ability to reload for the future by holding them hostage in this negotiation. Now they make this desperate overreach for OBJ. The only thing I would find funnier than all of this is if they were to reach and overpay for Zeke.

It's been covered @ length on Sports Radio. If the Packers wait til after June 1st to trade him they take less of a cap hit. The Jets feel the longer they wait, especially after the draft, the more the market dries up for the Packers to trade and hence lowers what they can receive in trade for him. Rodgers is basicly playing for the Jets or no one and everyone knows it. Plus he already knows Hacketts system. The alternative here being they cut him and get nothing and a dead money cap hit and he still signs with the Jets.

Jordan Phillips back with Bills 1 year deal
babulator replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought Shaq played well last year, especially as the season went on. He's a solid run defender. He's not gonna put up the big sack totals but, he sets the edge as well as anyone. +1 I like JP alot when healthy too, he definitely brings the juice. Hopefully he can stay healthy when we need him most. -
Bills Draftees Don't Contribute Much
babulator replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Im not sure this stat means a whole lot for all reasons already listed. I think maybe it does show that Beane is not infallable. He has hits and misses. As for Shakir he deserved more time simply because McKenzie should never have been out there, ever... I digress. I like Shakir and his potential and am rooting for him but hes a check down guy at this point. He has not shown any significant ability to get seperation yet. Sure he can sit in a soft zone as the 3rd checkdown, but I wonder how that would change if we had to rely on him as an every down slot guy. He'll be rotational again this year too. Go Bills! -
I never understood the hate for motor. Not everyone is going to be elite, but I thought he was a solid football player and likeable guy. Can't expect him to block DL's or LB's but I thought he did well in protection and was pretty elusive. His career stats say he can play ball. Get that money motor!

I think the only question people on this board have; Is he going to be better than Isiah Hodgins would have been as a Bill this year?
