  1. Its not like it will go down in value. No sense selling unless you need a massive influx of cash.
  2. What a breath of fresh air, It's hard to believe he's only 20yrs old. I was critical of the pick, but I can't wait to watch him play some man ball. He's gonna make some db's look silly when he powers through them, or over them, or uses that frame to box them out. He's gonna get on an NFL diet & training program and just get stronger too. 💪
  3. That's the best part of their broadcast. While they're cordial on air, they definitely don't like each other. Boomer was always trying to bully Phil, they had to have their chairs moved cause Phil didn't like Boomer rough housing him all the time lol.
  4. Erik over @cover1 always does excellent breakdowns. If this has already been posted feel free to move.
  5. I've been critical of the pick, but obviously we're rooting for him! His positivity is definitely contagious, I love all the videos coming out. Go Bills!
  6. Without JA17, this offense could not even compete in the SEC. It's criminal how little they have supported JA.
  7. I didn't see this as 4th round need, this draft has me completely perplexed. What are the odds this guy makes it to his 2nd contract? This entire draft will not age well.
  8. Feeling pretty distraught after this draft. Looking back @ Elam doesn't make it any better either. If Pegs had any clue, BB's seat would be red hot. The handling of this years draft is nothing less than a complete and utter debacle. If we don't win it all this year both Beane and McClappy have to go. In fact after this draft and viewing the plan moving forward, Id be tempted to move on from both of them now. We're decidedly worse this year with all our eggs in the Coleman basket to get us over the hump. What a joke.
  9. Well that's at good at least. To paraphrase BB "He's a WR, if we're talking about his ability to catch the ball, that's a problem"
  10. The draft fell pretty perfectly for us to make a small jump up for Brian Thomas Jr, or to stand pat and take Worthy. The fact that we let our primary rival snag their WR of the future for a relatively modest return feels like salt in the wound. I'm not a big fan of Mitchell or McConkey so landing either of these guys will only make it feel worse. I'm hearing Joe Brady tried to recruit Troy Franklin, but taking him @ 33 doesn't make sense. I imagine Beane's been working the lines all night/morning to move back a few more spots to take him where it makes more sense. I could see us then using some of the gained draft capital to move back up in the 2nd, or elsewhere to get some better value.
  11. IDK, I'm hoping BBB can put together a big package to get Odunze. If that fails to materialize I'm hearing and hoping maybe Thomas slips and then maybe we can try to jump up a little bit to grab him. If neither of those happen then hopefully we land Worthy @ 28. IDK, just say no to Mitchell and McConkey imho.
  12. I don't think it's crazy to think if Zack was handled and developed differently we may have a different opinion of him. The guy was basically drafted to be the savior on day 1 and then thrown to the wolves on one of the most forlorn teams and a defensive minded coach. Jets fans had the SB pegged before they even submitted the draft card. I bet if Team McBeane spent the draft capital we'd have done a better job developing and got more out of him. *shrugs*
  13. Pretty good question and funny topic! Sadly, nothing more than a shuffle pass here. I couldn't generate enough zip to hit on a little slant or curl. At 5'10" I couldn't even see over the line to hit anyone. The thought of what that might even look like is side splittingly funny to me. Yeah... No.
  14. If the bank would just loan me the money, I could pay it back with the profits and interest easy, I promise!
  15. RIP Dickey, you'll be missed. Dickey was most recently playing with his band(s) The Dickey Betts Band & Great Southern. He was asked to leave the ABB due to his resurgence of heavy drinking and alcoholism in the 90's. Gregg was suffering liver failure and his drinking days had long been behind him when Dickeys drinking flared up again (Gregg and Dickey battled alcoholism on and off most of their adult lives). Dickey was able to sober up afterwards and his band(s) and shows moving forward were worth while. Dickeys son and Greggs son currently play together in a "Revival" band that is pretty fantastic. They came to Klienhans last year and put on a great show! Highgly recommend if you're a fan of ABB music.
  16. He's clearly a thoughtful man with his head screwed on straight. He's easy to root for imho. +1
  17. This will be canceled or rescheduled, Brazil is in a state or turmoil atm, they're approaching riots and civil and unrest. I'll be surprised if this happens this year.
  18. Shakir reminds me of a smaller Robert Woods, that's a pretty solid comparison and good company to keep. I also expect Samuel to have a very good season as well. I'm excited to see how brady uses him. I see him having success on broken plays too, where he's coming back to Josh and getting some nice YAC plays.
  19. It definitely changes the draft outlook for sure. 🤞
  20. I mentioned it earlier in the thread, I saw another discussion about the dead cap hit, but who were we going to sign? What big FA's were left for us to sign? Unless Beane was banking on making some blockbuster player trade this year, it makes more sense to take the entire cap hit this year. Ideally, we move up and get the WR we want in the draft and free up a boat load of money next year.
