  1. I think people see the measurables and have very high expectations of him, and then you watch the tape and see him regularly whiff or make the wrong read, or be unable to shed blockers and disappointment sets in. Compared to what we want him to be, i'd say his instincts are not what we hoped for. Not that he' a bad player, or that he's not doing exactly what he's asked to do but we want him to be elite, and I'm not sure he'll ever be THAT guy.
  2. Sometimes I come here just for the laughs. This thread delivers! +1 🤣
  3. I like a heated rivalry tbh. I was fired up when Diggs was, and I have no issue with Jaire yapping it up before the game. He's confident and was fired up and ready to play in a big game, good for him. Sadly, he wasn't matched up on Diggs most of the night. Whatever we say about him personally, dude can ball and he brought some passion to his otherwise limp team.
  4. I'd say because you can't even begin to value a players worth until you see them perform. I'd also suggest if they had a "tentative" deal in place that the Bills would want him in his playbook now and that there's no point in waiting to sign him if this "tentative" deal is in place. Lastly, why would people think Beane would leak this to some off shoot unheard of website reporter. Click bait BS.
  5. Beane would not agree to anything until we know what we're getting. I think any deal OBJ signs will be incentive laden, no real shocker there. Has he even done any running yet? This is pure speculation. BS.
  6. I call BS. This is not how Beane does business.
  7. At least we wont have to hear about Gazelle for much longer. And the people cheered!
  8. I used to be angry at the whole Sammy thing, but the more I watch and hear him I kind of feel sad tbh. Yes, he's rich and famous and everything that goes with that, and we shouldn't feel sorry the rich and famous and blah blah blah. But this guy just seems off. Idk if it's just the pressure and reality of missed expectations, or what other stuff is going on in his life, but he just seems like a shell of a person. IDK, the guy comes across as sad or worse all the time. You couldn't pay me to trade places with him.
  9. He was awful here. It really is pretty unbelievable.
  10. Good stuff. I like Coy too... he's definitely a guy that loves his sport. Good for him too. Go Bills!
  11. He's the quiet voice that adds immeasurable weight to McD's Anchor. It can not be overstated how important he's been to the development of our defense. It could not be more clearly evident in the way our DB's have consistently played since his time here. +1 Coach Frazier.
  12. He looks like a track and field athlete playing football.
  13. This would be a gross over ask. I'd give a 4th maaaaybe a 3rd without Singletary. I would not include Devin in this deal under almost any circumstance. He's a valued and reliable member of this team. Reliable availability is not something CMC brings to the table. I admit I haven't watched him much this year, but his numbers are pedestrian so far.
  14. Wasn't there pre season rumors he was available? IDK, everyone isn't as "plugged" in as everyone else. Can we still at least like him ?
  15. Is he still ? I'm not against it if he can still produce at a high level. I trust in the Beane. but... I'd rather have Saquon There I said it lol.
  16. I once stepped on Henry Jones's shoe while packed in shoulder to shoulder @ Kelly's night club. He was not happy or gracious about it. 🙈
  17. Zach has an uncanny ability to find defenders and bounce off them... usually backwards. We wanted a bowling ball and got a pin ball. Devin reminds me of another great Bills back, not real big, strong or fast, but he's pretty elusive, catches the ball well out of the backfield, sets up his blocks well and picks up the blitz like a champ. I'm a fan. Go Bills!
  18. I went with caveman, my son went with Viking, either way, he has the best hair in football!
  19. His football instinct is off the charts, what a freaking stud!
  20. We still have guys, Hodgins and Austin come to mind. I'm ok with either stepping in to be the next man up.
  21. I've been hard on AJ. He may never live up to expectations, but he's contributing. Hopefully he can remain consistent and maybe add a splash play or two.
  22. Mitch did not look great yesterday. Fans were already calling for Picket. My guess says he'll be in by week 5 immediately after they lose to the Bills
  23. Bill is within 40 total wins of Don. I expect him to beat that before he retires (They've coached about the same amount of seasons). As for SB wins, there's no contest. It would be hard to overstate the winningest Superbowl coach of all time. While Don is a good try, his perfect season pales in comparison to BB's rings. I think you'll find yourself in the minority on this one, but we can agree to disagree. Bill >> Don.
  24. Bill will still go down as the greatest coach in NFL history. In a league where only wins and losses matter, he reins supreme among all NFL coaches. The only question that remains is; who was more integral to that success him, or Brady. I'd challenge anyone to name a coach more knowledgeable than Bill of the NFL rule book. How many times have we seen him gain some small but influencing advantage due to his knowledge of the rules? I don't love Bill, and I remember his days with the Browns and the Jets, and his GM moves have been questionable, but to say that he's anything less than the greatest coach ever is just silly. He's not infallible, and it's still a team sport coaches included, but let's be honest here.
  25. If you were Chris Spielman, you'd just play through it, and not tell anyone! “I know I’m gonna suffer. I don’t mind. Not one bit. That’s how I play the game. It’s pain and it’s punishment. Part of the deal.” Chris Spielman Man, i loved that guy!
